You can't do better for an electrician than Bill Watts. The fact that he is a one-man business speaks volumes to me. He's proud of his work and doesn't have to clean up someone else's mess. He was prompt, professional, a nice guy, AND his final bill was below his original estimate. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Watts was very prompt, courteous and professional. He was able to access the cause of issues with outlets and make repairs in a timely manner. His work was thorough and his price was reasonable.

Excellent work, we are very happy with the result. Bill was on-time, explained what he would be doing, and did a thorough professional job. Got two estimates from large electrician companies and he beat them both by $200. Would highly recommend.

Bill was friendly and professional about everything. On the multiple problems with the ceiling light: when I told him I'd probably caused one of the breaks when I'd tried to repair the light a couple of years ago Bill responded by showing me the proper way to twist wires together (instead of chiding me for the attempt). On the bathroom light fixture: I'd purchased a replacement light, but had not gotten one the same dimensions as the original. When Bill spotted this he opened up the old fixture and identified the problem with it (a short caused by a manufacturer's defect). He then recommended I have him repair the existing light instead of replace it, to preclude me having to repair the drywall and repaint the ceiling afterwards. I accepted, and he successfully repaired the fixture (including re-routing a wire away from where it had rubbed against another wire and shorted out).

I used Watts Electric because they had the best ratings and I decided to call him. When I talked to him, he seemed very pleasant on the telephone. Their quality was great.

Mr. Watts is a one man business and VERY good at what he does. I was under a tight time line with having some repairs and inspections done at a house we were purchasing, and Mr Watts was kind enough to squeeze me in and help me out. He was super friendly and efficient at the job performed. He really new what he was doing. I will definitely use him again for electrical work in the future with our house.

This was an exceptionally good experience from beginning to end. We recently moved into a house that needed a lot of repair work, including a long list of electrical items that needed to be replaced or updated. We found Watts Electric on Angie's List and decided to give him a try. When I first called Bill he was heading out of town, but he promised to call on a certain date when he returned. Based on my prior experience with some tradesmen I wasn't sure I'd ever hear from him, but he called on the exact day that he said he would and he visited us the next day to see what needed to be done so that he could prepare an estimate. We wanted certain items taken care of immediately due to other repairs that were waiting on the electrical work, and Bill worked very hard to accommodate our scheduling requirements. He always arrived when he said he would and he worked quietly and efficiently the whole time, patiently answering our questions and cleaning up completely at the end of each day. Our final bill was very close to the original estimate even though Bill completed a number of extra items that were added after the estimate was written. We are completely satisfied with Watts Electric and will definitely use this company again whenever we need an electrician.

Bill's work is great. I planned on using him again, but had to cancel last minute due to medical concerns and schedule conflicts. I've tried to reschedule. I left several messages and I have not heard back from him. I sure hate that one little hiccup on our part has precluded us from furture work. My advice, definately use his services. Don't cancel last minute.

Mr. Watts called ahead of time to tell me that he was running 15 mins behind. This was great when compared to others who would simply just show up when they got here. I showed him the rooms the fans were to be installed and he went right to work. He made sure the blades were turned to my liking and the remotes were installed. The rooms were as clean as when he came in and all excess and old lighting were neatly placed in the corner of the room. The quote was exactly what he gave me the week prior to the work, no surprises. I would highly recommend Mr. Watts for any projects and will utilize him in the future fro all my electrical needs.

Bill is a great guy. Very professional .It was a pleasure having him do the work. I felt very comfortable with having him in my home. Bill really takes pride in his work, which is a very rare find these days. He has a great background in years of experience as well as an impressive educational background in electrical work. He came to our homes, and provided an estimate for the work. His estimate was at least $100 less than another we had received, and we decided to go ahead and schedule the install. He had an available appointment in 2 days. He was responsive, on time, and kept us apprised of when he would arrive. Installation went very well - he is a real professional, and he charged LESS than his estimate. Nice guy, along with an excellent electrician. Clean up of the job site was done too. He gave some good advice to me in case I want to tackle some simpler electrical projects. Since the homes were next door to each other, he split the cost of the service call. We will definitely call him again for any electrical project.

He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable about electrical issues. He was right on time...and his rates were VERY good....epecially when compared to a number of other service providers in huntsville!! I am a woman and it is always nerveracking to have a repairman at your house because I feel like i never know who to trust. I would trust Bill Watts to go to my mom's house, my sister's house...in short....I'd trust him to take care of anyone and everyone I love. I cannot say enough about him. I HIGHLY recommend him if you have any sort of electrical issue.

In some cases, you think you have to sacrifice price for quality. However, in the case of Watts, you got both...great quality at a great price. A one person company who is well worth putting in your contacts listing as your only electrical contractor. Not only was his quote cheaper than everyone else, he came in slightly less than his original quote AND he was very flexible on the dates with us. He was very quick and very professional and you felt like you were dealing with an honest person. The city pulled the power, he changed the box, the inspector completed the review and the city had the power back on in less than 5 hours. For all our future work, we will not even consider calling anyone else.

The troubleshooting of this job required him to crawl under the house, find a junction box, and then sort out what went where and why it wasn't working. He remained friendly, professional and informative throughout this process. I am calling him next week for another problem with wiring in an older home. I have no doubt he will be able to fix my problem.

Mr. Watts was very polite and professional when we spoke on the phone. He was able to schedule our service call and was out to the house within 24 hours. Completed work just as we discussed and was very polite with my wife as I was not home at the time of service. Called several other electricians before Mr. Watts and could not get the others to show up. I would surely recommend Mr. Watts to anyone seeking a professional electrician.

Perfect. Bill Watts, the owner is the electrician and a great one at that. He really cares about his job and how he treats his customers. He takes the time to explain anything you have questions on and will make good suggestions if needed. I would recommend him to anyone.

We bought a 1963-built house a couple of years ago, and the service line coming to the house was well-worn, and in need of replacing. In addition, the breaker panel was stuffed full, and had several tandem breakers, which I personally do not like. We decided to update the entire service, and started to get quotes. After calling several electricians, none of whom I was quite comfortable with for various reasons, I started an Angie's List account. Bill was the stand-out in the reviews, so I gave him a call. He called me back the same day, and gave me an estimate. We set up a time when he could come to the house and quote the job. He was on time, respectful, polite, and personable. His quote was very close to his estimate, which was $1,500 better than the next best quote. We had some scheduling conflicts, but agreed on a day in two weeks. On the day of the appointment, Bill and his assistant showed up on time, and got right to work. The install was finished before dark, with the only delay coming from the inspector before we could turn up the service again. All-in-all, it was a very good experience, and I feel that I actually got more than my money's worth. I recommend Bill to anyone that asks, and would not think of going to another electrician. Bill will always be my go-to.

Bill Watts did a superior job on each task. His wiring into the new entrance box was a textbook picture of perfection and neatness. Bill did so much work that it is difficult to recall every thing. He made it easy to deal with the City on the permit and sign-off of the change in entrance boxes. He performed all the work over a period of several months to fit my schedule and his schedule. He worked over a period of time between August 2011 and January 2012. I can say without reservation that he is the only person that I will call to do electrical work. He is pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. Also, he has excellent communications. He does what he says he is going to do and more. I highly recommend Bill Watts.

Mr. Watts was on time and extremely professional. He answered all of my questions in depth and I am now more knowledgeable about some electrical issues. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and have already done so. My last encounter with an electrician left a bad taste in my mouth, but as long as Mr. Watts is in business, I will utilize his services for any electrical issue I encounter.

I had Watts Electric come out and move a set of light switches for me. Watts Electric (Bill Watts) did such a good job and had such a great personality that I hired him to come back and rewire 3/4 of my tri-level house. Bill showed up on time for our appointments, and on a day he was supposed to show up but was sick he let me know he would be unable to make the appointment. Bill performed excellent work, is very professional, and I actually enjoyed having several conversations with him. Along with the rewire I also had him install an outlet on the front porch and several outlets in my garage. Watts Electric is one of those businesses that is hard to find and I now have his number in my phone and consider him to be my electrician. I highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

We love our under cabinet lighting and found this company to be competent and work with integrity.
