They did a really good work. The trees were really large and very old; they took them down. I was quite satisfied with them, but the only issue I had, was that I wasn’t able to communicate directly with the main guy who did the work. I had to go through his wife every time, and sometimes the communication got a little bit disordered, but I was really happy with the work. It would have been really nice if I could have spoken to him directly instead of going through his wife. They were very good, and I will use them again in the future.

Several days before Halloween we had two large limbs break on our 10+ year old Bradford Pear tree. The limbs covered the side walk. Part of the main trunk was also damaged so the tree had to come down. I called them Friday to see if they could (at a minimum) remove the downed limbs so that the sidewalk was not covered for the Halloween trick or treaters. They came out the next day, a Saturday, removed the entire tree, chipped it and ground down the stump. All the leaf debris was totally cleaned up. The only thing left are some wood chips where the stump was ground down. Great work. I was very pleased.

We were very satisfied with the service from start to finish. Usually, a service or construction group will come in and fix one thing and make a mess out of two other things, so that I have to come back and clean up after their cleanup. Not so this time around. We heartily recommend this provider.

Everything went very well. Their three-man team was professional and courteous. They did exactly what they estimated and did a great job! We agreed they could start while I was at work. They were finishing up just as I pulled into the driveway for my lunch break! All I had to do was pay them. I'd highly recommend Paul Bunyan Tree service. I had three estimates done for the tree removal. Paul Bunyan beat all of them by several hundred dollars and they delivered!

Paul arrived within five minutes of the time they gave me. We looked at the tree and discussed the job and at that time I asked him about trimming a branch from another tree that was hanging over my roof. He said he would be happy to take care of it and didn't charge me any extra. He was extremely friendly and he and his helper started the work promptly. They worked for about two and half hours- that included cutting the tree, grinding the stump and clean-up. They did an extremely good job and left no mess. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others. Not only did he do a great job but he was a very nice guy!

showed up on time for estimate and for work. missed one day due to a family emergency but called to let us know. very professional, showed concern for his workers ( this was the hottest week we've had this year). three of the trees were in a very difficult position - a wrong move would have caused major damage to our house or our neighbors - they took their time and did it right. they also checked with our neighbor first and explained what they would do. everyone was pleased. would use again, would recommend completely. found them through angie's list.

I received their name from Angie's List and called. They returned my call the next day and they were a little late in getting out to give us an estimate, however, Paul was very knowledgable and professional. He and his crew arrived the next morning, on time and completed the work. He even moved a plant and replanted it in order to grind a stump that was behind it. They gathered all branches and debris and took it with them. My husband and I will use their services in the future.

I was glad to find such a highly-rated company to do this work, so I called and left a message explaining what I needed done. Connie returned my call promptly, we talked about what I needed and made an appointment for someone to come out to give me an estimate. A few hours before the appointment, Connie called and asked to reschedule, which was not a problem. A few hours before the next appointment, she called again to reschedule. I told her someone could come out any time and call me to discuss the job if I wasn't home at the time, so she said someone would come by that evening or Saturday, which was fine with me. She also wanted to confirm that I wanted trees removed and stumps ground, and I told her that I just needed the trees trimmed (which I had told her twice previously). She said someone would come take a look and give me a call. It has been almost two weeks since I last spoke to Connie and I have not seen nor heard from anyone there. My best guess is that they are not interested in tree trimming (it seems like most of their work is removal), but if that was the case, why didn't she tell me so I could find another company instead of wasting my time?

Paul of Paul Bunyan, came out surveyed work to be done, provided an estimate, came back on day promised and performed all work expertly. He was asked to be especially careful of existing shrubs and he lowered trees and branches in such fashion as to not damage anything. I had asked him to replace some exterior lights at roof level and he brought long ladder for that purpose. I forgot to leave the new light bulbs for Paul to use, and he went next door and borrowed 2 from my new neighbor in my name. Service like this doesn't get any better.

Called late in the week and did not receive a call back for several days. Owner said they had a family emergency and was not able to back to us sooner. Was not able to get over to look at it for another 4 days. Total time waiting was approx. 7 days. Owner was very nice as others stated but looked at the tree and said he was not able to do the work because they climb the trees they cut and this one was partially dead near the base. Too dangerous for his crew. He probably does awesome work which is why we waited 7 days for him to look at our tree. I appreciate that he looks out for his crew and did not want to put them in harms way.

All the work was performed. They showed up when they said they would and performed all the work. I was extremely satisfied with their work and I would definitely use them again. Also, they were at least a third less in cost than other tree services.

Paul came out and gave me an estimate the same day I called. The estimate was pretty much what I had expected to pay. It included the removal of 3 large pines, 2 smaller "weeds", capping off a huge crepe myrtle and trimming a huge tree limb hanging over our roof. Paul also made some helpful recommendations. The weather was expected to get very cold so Paul and his crew worked both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day otherwise they would not have been able to complete the job for at least another week. The worker's were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up the site and taking all the debirs with them. I will definitely use Paul Bunyon Tree Service again.

It went well. They showed up and did the work the day they said. If I had a critique, it would be I expected the grindings of the stump to be cleaned up better.

Promptly arrived when scheduled. Worked until finished and cleaned up after themselves in a professional manner. Very pleased with the price. Had received estimates of around 1000 dollars.

Paul Gore came to the home, surveyed the need(s) and gave us an estimate. We were surprised at how low the cost was, and immediately accepted the proposal. At our request, a copy of Paul's company insurance was faxed to us. Paul had told us the wait time could be up to two weeks, and it was. The wait was worth it; the work was done quickly and neatly, and the cleanup could not have been better. We will call Paul and Connie when we need assistance in the future.

Paul and his crew did an excellent job. It was money well spent. The tree was struck by lightening last spring and sat very close to my neighbors wooden privacy fence (18 inches) and close to my house (10 yards). I requested quotes from several companies and Paul was the low price.(Other two were $525 and $900). He arrived promptly and stated what he would do. I called back and set up an appointment after reading reviews here and noting that his price was the lowest. I was told that Paul would not be able to get to it for a couple of weeks but received a call back a few days later saying the schedule had changed and they could do it the next day. This was good because we were expecting strong winds the next evening. Paul and his crew showed up at the appointed time, discussed the best way to fall the tree, cut the tree, removed debris, removed the stump and were on their way in about an hour. I am very frugal and at heart a do-it-your-selfer. I could not have done this job myself and I was extremely pleased with the work. I will recommend him to friends and neighbors. I will use him again.

Exceptionally well. They arrived at the specified time and completed the work very quickly. They paid special attention to clean up. We were extremely pleased with the price as well as service. We would definitely use this company again.

Paul has a pleasant and energetic "can-do" attitude. Their communication with me before the job was excellent; any changes in schedule were explained and notified in good time. Paul arrived on time with two assistants. The job was completed in about 2 hours. A concrete bird-bath possibly in the way of one of the trees was dismantled and later reassembled without them being told to do it. The log cutting had to be to a certain size for my stove and they did that. I thought the price was reasonable, given the risk from the one oak which was very tall and thin and close to the house. All cleanup was done except for some sawdust from the log cutting (which is good compost anyway).

I called them based on their report on Angie's List and made an appointment for an estimate. He was right on time and provided me an itemized price for each of several options I wanted. I was very pleased with the price and chose to have all of the work done the following week. He and his team arrived on time, went straight to work and completed everything quickly. I was concerned at first because some of the work was so close (and over) the house and fence, but they were extremely capable and professional. They chipped up all the trees and limbs and took them away. They also raked and cleaned up the whole work areas. I am very happy with the result.

Outstanding. I called to get an estimate done and Paul and Connie Gore were not only courteous they were downright friendly. Paul made the appointment for the next day and they arrived on time (which was refreshing) and provided the lowest cost estimate for the work I needed (had also gotten another other estimate from Sington Land and Tree Inc. and they were late, overpriced and unprofessional). I made the appointment to have the trees removed and, again, Paul and his crew showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally and did a beautiful job. I had asked Paul if he could make the trees fall in a specific area so as not to get any limbs, pine cones, etc., in my neighbor's yard. Even though it took a tricky piece of maneuvering, Paul not only found a safe way to accommodate my request, he was very nice about it as well. I was extremely pleased with Paul Bunyan Tree Service and will definitely use them again.

Paul responded quickly to give an estimate, which was less than half of the next lowest bid. He and his assistant Mike arrived within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. All of the requested branches were removed cleanly and safely lowered from above 50 feet without any damage to overshadowed and adjacent buildings and fences. They mulched and hauled away the debris. They did a good, but not quite perfect job of raking up the smaller shattered sticks, twigs and pine cones.

I gave them a B for Quality of Work, because they had to return the next day to complete the clean up (when requested by me).

While he did not come to the first appointment, he did call later that day to apologize and schedule another appointment. He performed the work safely and quickly. The tree fell right where he wanted it.
