Anderson Lawn Care

I called for lawn leaf and flower bed clean up. Also trim bushes. Provider called on Saturday and said he would check it out and call with estimate. Did not call. I called on Monday and left message. Here it is Wednesday and provider still has not responded.

I interviewed Scott for continuning lawn service and we agreed that he would do it continually. Came and mowed my lawn on a day when I had hand surgery. He cleaned up downed limbs and hauled old dug up monkey grass to the curb. I have hired him to cut my yard twice a month. He has cut it three times since then and edged and blown. I am very happy with his services.

We are in the second year of using Anderson Lawn Care. He is very good.

Since last summer Mr. Anderson and his crew have been faithful to the cause of caring for our lawn in a very professional manner. i have not had to call them once to come back. He does not require a contract and bills each month. He builds a relationship of mutual trust with his clients, which is the way it should be. Thanks, Mr. Anderson and crew!

Scott is very professional, friendly and overall a real good guy. Very happy with the quality of work he provides and he goes beyond want we hired him for to be sure the lawn looks awesome.

He did a very good job. He came usually when he said he would every second week and he just came and did and left.

We found Mr. Anderson on Angie's List and discussed the one negative review with him. He basically said that you can't make some people happy. Let me tell you, we are not those kind of people. He serviced our yard weekly for approximately two months. When he started we discussed that he would trim the azaleas when they were finished blooming. He never did. He offered to round out some shrubs and I told him that I like for them to have a more natural shape. Somehow he interpreted that as we wanted 3/4 of the yard "natural". Even though we discussed that we needed weekly service because there are a lot of trees (i.e. leaves), he only removed the leaves from the grassy portion of the yard. After a couple of weeks we texted him and asked him to be sure to do the entire yard. That didn't work. We finally called him to discuss the problem and he stated he would meet us on Thursday to walk the yard and talk it out. He never showed, never called and has not been back. That was a month ago. Lastly, we did not like his method of billing. When he came the first time he stated he would prefer to bill us. We're used to getting a bill at the end of the month and we're comfortable with that. You never know what the weather is going to be like and if they're going to show or not. This man bills prospectively, so you pay for a month and then have to make sure you actually get what you paid for. We've got far too much to worry about to add that to our plates. In short, he didn't do what he said he was going to (trim the bushes), only removed the leaves from a small portion of our yard, didn't respond to requests to improve his service, and then stopped showing all together. Now we're going to have to find someone to clean up the yard he neglected for so long despite being paid to maintain it. I'd say if he used to be as great as all the reviews say then his service has definitely gone downhill.

Prompt and great service from Anderson Lawn Care. Contacted via Angie's List and asked Mr. Anderson to begin bi-weekly lawn and edging services. He responded within a day and started service in September. Really pleased with service to date. Plan to keep his service through next summer. It went well. I did not have to tell him anything, he did not complain about the work, he just said he would be back 2 weeks later. (If there is no rain, I will leave him a message to come later.

I purchased a property that I haven't moved into yet and needed someone to tend to the yard until I can get moved in. The yard had some extensive growth take place since the time of purchase and I didn't want to leave it until I moved in and give my soon to be new neighbors a bad first impression. I contacted Anderson Lawn Care last week and scheduled a mow for yesterday (Sept 18, 2013) through Angie's List. Scott quoted me a price and gave me the exact date he would be out there to take care of my yard. My wife went by the property today (Sept. 19, 2013) and she said the yard looks great - and she's a real stickler about these sort of things! I'll admit I was hesitant to hire anyone over the internet for my yard, especially since I do not live at the property yet and can not make sure the work is done to my standards. I was so glad to find out I had no reason to worry. It's nice to be able to contract a company like Anderson Lawn Care over the internet and have them do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. We're moving into our new home next week and have Anderson Lawn Care coming out for the next three weeks to take care of our yard while we settle in, but with their very fair pricing and quality of work performed my wife and I are already considering asking them about some mulching and other landscaping work we want done this spring.

With all the accolades he received from others, I was convinced to hire him. He was to cut my grass on a Wednesday. He did not show and did not contact me. I called him on the Friday that week and had to leave a message. I asked that he contact me in the next few hours or I would hire someone else. He never phoned back.

I called Scott Anderson two weeks (7/10/2013) ago to complain about the quality of the lawn care I received including erratic mowing marks left in the grass, grass clippings left on down spout drains, and dead leaves left in the yard. Scott Anderson apologized and said the job would be performed with professionalism the next visit. After yesterday's visit (7/24/13) I returned home to find that grass clippings were left, dead leaves were left in the yard, weeds and tall grass hadn't been trimmed in random areas around my brick edging and back yard fence. I called this morning and cancelled service with Anderson Lawn Care.

I would highly recommend Anderson Lawncare. I contacted them after revewing their rating on Angie's List, and immediately received a follow-up call and they went out to conduct an estimate for the services that I needed. Once we confirmed the cost and desired services, they were back out to the property the following week as scheduled. I have their weekly lawncare service and the cost is reasonable and well in line with the quality service they provide.

Anderson was the answer to our prayer. After leaving a message, the company called back within several hours and stated that they would stop by to give an estimate for yard care the same day. They were busy at the time, and I respect that, but siad they would stop late afternoon after they completed the job they were on. They did that. Upon meeting them, they surveyed the property and provided a quote on the spot. They even offered to mow and service right there and then... I accepted and their service, qulaity and professionalism was immediately apparent. I have them coming every two weeks...there was no doubt. I applaud this company. I just hope they don't get too big for their britches ...LOL... I wish them all the growth they can tolerate. They deserve it.

They came out when they said they would come out. The prices were reasonable. They did what they said they would do. They do the job real quick. It's been a good experience so far. It's a little hard to sometimes get in touch with them.

I use them every week. They are great, I have no complaints about them at all, he shows up every work and does the job.

We have been using Anderson for lawn maintenance for almost 8 months; excellent job every week.

Scott aerated and reseeded my fescue lawn previously and I was happy. Scott was professional, punctual, fairly priced, did what he said he would do, and seemed to know lawns. So, I asked Scott to reseed my lawn again this spring and we negotiated a date when I would flag my sprinklers (so the aerator can avoid them). When I came home the day Scott reseeded, I saw seed in the grass but no aeration plugs. I called Scott and he said that aeration was not necessary for reseeding. That was a red flag to me, because that is an important part of reseeding fescue and we had talked about me marking my sprinkler heads. After 2 weeks no germination. I called Scott and he suggested it was because of the unusually cold March weather. After 5 weeks, not one seed germinated. They just lay there. In addition to not aerating, I think Scott put down some old/bad seed. I needed advice on what to do, but Scott would not return my phone calls. I proceeded to aerate and reseed myself last weekend. For whatever reason, Scott and my fescue aeration and reseed didn't work out. I hate writing a bad report, but that is part of being an Angies list member.

Service is excellent. Always prompt and very well done. I have been having ALC come out since July 2012.

Got a quote & visit within a day from calling them. Scott performed all the work & we were very pleased with the service we got & also the prices were found reasonable. Yard service was also done within reasonable timing. I would highly recommend their service again!

After reading their reviews on "Angie's List", I e-mailed Anderson Lawn care about maintaining my lawn and yard. Mr. Anderson responded the same day and scheduled a visit to provide me a cost estimate. I have had numerous issues with previous lawn services who could not provide weekly services consistenly. Mr. Anderson assured me that his team would come weekly and that I wouldn't be charged for a service that wasn't performed. His team has come out every Wednesday as agreed upon for the past six weeks since my hiring them. Their lawn and yard service has been most excellent. They are always prompt, professional, and efficient and have kept my lawn looking well-groomed and my driveways and walkways clear and neat. I am extremely pleased with their work, reliability, and the price that I'm charged.

I called and made an appointment with Scott Anderson to evaluate my yard, and give me a quote. He arrived on time for the appointment, and made an evaluation of the work to be done. He called the next day with a quote. We agreed on the price, and he returned to complete the job. He did an excellent job on my yard. I plan on using his services in the future.

Great. Our grass looks better than it ever has. He worked around our schedule to find a time that worked best for us.

I contacted Anderson Lawn Care through Angies List. They returned my email and also phoned me to set up a time for an estimate. Showed up on time and the price was reasonable. I hired them and they have mowed my lawn twice so far and I am very pleased.
