Anderson Lawn Care

Scott and his team are excellent. Arrive weekly and always helpful. We started the service 2 years ago after finding on Angie's List and now they are servicing our new home and the one we have for sale. We highly recommend them!

Anderson has taken care of our lawn care since June 2018. I chose Anderson based upon what I found on Angie's list. They do a great job and I am so pleased! I plan to ask them to do the spring cleanup and mulch the flower beds now. Thank you!! The cost I have below is a monthly charge for weekly services.

Always punctual (excluding during rain storms). They do a great job, quickly.

mr. Anderson never showed up to do the job over a course of 3 weeks. there were times when it was raining and I understand he couldn't come then but there were ample opportunities to come when it wasn't raining and he didn't come then. Every time I contacted him he had many different excuses as to why he couldn't come. he was always vague about when he would come when I tried to nail him down to a specific date it always turned out to be a day when it was supposed to rain. Finally talked to him and told him I wasn't going to use him and I would find someone else. I called another person and he came out within the hour and did the job for the same price that mr. Anderson was going to charge me. would not recommend mr. Anderson to do any work.

Anderson Lawn Care have done my lawn for about 3 years. They set their mowing blades so low that just kind of ripped up the ground. So the mowing blades need to be set higher so the grasses cut higher.

The cost is $35 a week. They are very dependable. They always come the same day and the same time. You can rely on them.

Have not heard anything but excuses from this provider for three months. It was two months of no service before I finally contacted him to see if he had stopped service. He made an excuse and promised to be out in the next week or so. Several weeks later, after no service, he contacted me again with another excuse and another promise to show up. I was willing to overlook his lack of customer response when my lawn was getting taken care of; but now I no longer am willing to put up with it. My lawn looks horrible from the weight of the leaves (my service supposedly included leaf removal but this is the 2nd year it hasn't gotten done until several months after it should have been done). I no longer trust this company to keep their commitment and will no longer use them or refer them to anyone else.

I found Scotts Lawn Care Service on Angie's List. I called him to explain what I wanted done and he said he would stop by the house and get back to me with an estimate. He called me back in a couple days with an estimate which I agreed to. He indicated the work would be completed within a week. He did an outstanding job trimming and cleaning up. I have already consulted with him regards some mulch work I want completed. If you are looking for someone who is reliable, timely, and does excellent work then Scott Anderson Lawn Care is your company.

Lawn is cut every two weeks with no issues. The one time I called to discuss the billing, I did not get a return call, but the work is done at a very good price. Owner worked with me on frequency of service since my grass doesn't tend to grow very fast. Happy with the work they do on my lawn,.

I contacted Anderson Lawn Care through Angie's List about a property I had listed for sale. They responded in less than 5 minutes, went to the house the same day and gave me a price that evening after hours. I was very impressed by the responsiveness and the price was very reasonable. I asked them to make sure the yard was cut as needed throughout the summer so that it looked good to potential buyers. They sent regular bills once a month and only charged for one or two cuts at a time which was perfect since I was trying to sell and wasn't sure how long I would need to maintain the yard. Towards the end of the season I got a renter in the house and contacted Anderson Lawn care about any final bills. They responded quickly, thanked me for the business and asked if there was anything else they could provide. I would definitely recommend them and was very impressed with the customer service they offer. They made my life easy and I didn't have to ever worry about whether the job was getting done or not.

We had our house on the market and they agreed to come out biweekly to cut grass. I had to constantly check if the work was done because the days they chose to mow changed from monday to wednesday to Thursday, etc. I left numerous voicemail messages pleading them to call me back. Never did. One of the times they mowed a large portion of the back yard was untouched. I called and emailed and received an email back with an explanation of how grass grows after it rains. I can't believe how rude these people are to there customers. A week vefore the last mowing was scheduled I called and messaged to make sure they were able to do it because if not, I needed the time to schedule someone else to come out. They said they would and when the scheduled day came and went I sent another email and was assured it would happen the next day, etc. It was not done. I honestly don't know how these guys are still in business after the way they treat their customers and seem to only work when they feel like it. I picked these guys because the ratings were good at the time and they were the closest so I figured it would be worry free match. I rated the price an F because if they did the work when they said they would and if they did a good job 40 a cut would be a great deal. I'd rather pay someone 100 if they were punctual, professional, and did a great job. So now the house is sold and the buyers move in tomorrow and Anderson Lawn Care promised to do the yard and has not. They left me in a pretty bad position.

I used Anderson Lawn care in 2014 and had good service. In 2015 Scott started off with no problem, as of late June, he has not been showing up on scheduled day. I have called Scott several times , and he has not returned my calls. Anderson Lawn Care never showed up after July, 2015. I paid him for 3 yard cuts, and he perfromed only 2 in July. I will not recommend him to anyone else.

I have been using them for about two months now and they do a really good job. Their promptness is sporadic, but it depends on the weather. If it is raining, they cannot come, but it is good. The very first visit, I met with the owner and we went over what he provides and what my needs were, but other than that, they are here when I am not home. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I was looking at my sent messages in AngiesList and thought I'd share it. This guy leaves people hanging. Not all but some. Roll the dice with him if you want and hope you're not the one! Here's the email: "8/11/2012 Hi, please let me know why you dropped off the radar for the work I have. 3 houses on regular basis. You said 2 in Madison were $35.00 each but could get quote on 3rd. I did have one for a one time clean up, but that could have been taken off the list if it's not your type of work. I'm disappointed that you didn't get back with me. I've tried 3 or 4 times."

It went really well. I was very pleased with the work. I plan on using them in the future. The only minor thing was in the future I will ask that the grass not be cut as short. I prefer grass to be cut 4 inches high to prevent weeds.

Some of the bushes were very over grown and needed shaping badly. Came and gave quote and time of actually trimming the shrubs, but was able to come earlier. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone and use them again myself.

Very professional and courteous. Both lawns look great. I would certainly recommend him and plan to use him next season.

Scott is very responsive. (In the future, I'll start by calling his cell, which is the 509 number, instead of the first 880 number listed.) He called before coming by to double check that I would be there. He is easy to get along with and not at all intimidating. I was a bit worried about getting quoted some ridiculous price. Since lawncare is typically my husband's domain, I wasn't sure what needed doing or how much it would cost. We typically only get our lawn mowed once or twice a year if hubby's job goes into overtime crunch mode. In the past we've paid twice the price to unpleasant people for sloppy work, and I've never been happy enough to consider using the same service over again. Scott has changed that! When we talked before he got to work, it was clear that I wasn't sure if we'd need his services again. Despite that he was 100% nice and reasonable, not at all pushy or giving the impression that I was wasting his time. His price is good. The work was done quickly and neatly. All the clippings were bagged or blown away. He said if we need it mowed again to just call and give him a couple of days notice. This season is almost over, but I'll seriously consider scheduling regular clippings with him next year. For recurring jobs he said that he typically comes by every two weeks, but is happy to come by early if, for example, after a week you call to say that the lawn is growing out of control. Next time we need lawncare, Scott Anderson is my go-to guy!

Anderson shows up when they say will, they make invoicing simple, and the lawn generally looks fairly great when they are done. Occasionally it appears that they rush the trimming and neglect small areas, but it's not generally noticeable from the curb (Although in their defense, I haven't spoken with them about it). Hard surfaces are always blown clean and they leave nice clean mow lines in the yard.

I contacted this company on June 8, 2014 because I needed lawn care for the last 3 weeks of June. They never called me back.
