Description of Work: I am in the process of selling my house in Madison and it was inspected. The inspector found some issues to be fixed, one real a few not. Mr. Electric came out and fixed the real problem and pointed out that the other potential problem identified by the inspector was actually within building code and all the homes were done that way (had electric wires going through cutout holes in the foundation within the crawl space under the house. The inspector was saying the wires were exposed and non compliant. He pointed out that the code states that only wires above the floor and below 8' need to be sheathed in conduit and others are fine to go through cutouts in concrete or wood, like mine. He documented that on the invoice and didn't try to get me to spend money that wasn't needed. I was able to use his documented notes to get the company buying my house to waive the issue. It was a relief to my mind and my pocket book.
