Zak was on time, professional and did a great job. Work was easy to schedule with Linda on the phone. I would definitely use Zak again in the future.

Very professional, worked hard stringing the ethernet cables, installed outlets in five places, plus connecting everything and mounting it in our communications closet. Installed the fan upstairs and then fixed another fan that needed to be raised. He was always right on time and cleaned up very nicely. We were very satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.

They were excellent. I think they came twice. I think around January. It was done in a reasonable time for a couple of hours. I thought i would have him all day. I think he just knew what to do. He totally knew his stuff. He was very pleasant. I feel like they know what they are doing and I haven't had any problem after the fact. I have got no complaint. I think they came when they said they were coming or called and said that they would be late maybe but they were here within the 30 minutes of when they said. I don't know if the price was a lot or less. I was expecting it to be a lot and it was kind of a lot. He was very accommodating. He was very polite and he knew his job. I would use them again in the future.

FANTASTIC. James is the Electrician that came out. He was super polite, professional and diligent in his work. I signed up right then for an annual membership with Mr. Electric because James was just so wonderful. In 6 years we've not needed an electrician but just in case I will now get priority service and I hope we will get James.

Very pleased with the service today. Mr. Electric arranged for Darrell to arrive on unusually short notice. He methodically worked through all the electrical issues I had called about, and was professional and courteous at all times. Darrell explained the new electrical codes to me, and how Mr. Electric could further assist in getting my home fully up to date. I will definitely call Mr. Electric again, and hope to see Darrell on a future visit!

The price was a little higher than I had hoped, but they did a very good job and they were very nice.

Better than we could have ever asked for.

We have a service contract with a local appliance store. When our dryer stopped working, they came out and diagnosed the problem. The problem was with the electrical outlet and not the dryer, so we called Mr. Electric. The Mr. Electric serviceman quickly fixed the outlet. Then we remembered an over the sink light fixture in a bathroom, that had been wired in during a remodeling, but never installed. We asked him if he could install that since he was here and he said he could. We then sat down and made a list of other things we wanted and he was able to do these on the same day as well. The Mr. Electric serviceman made an inspection and found the problems with the: Lack of house being grounded Problem in fuse boxes The Mr. Electric serviceman suggested installing a wired in smoke detector, to bring house up to code for safety & it would need to be done if we ever sold the house. The Mr. Electric serviceman was pleasant, stayed on task, & left our house to eat lunch and purchase some materials & returned in a timely manner. We definitely recommend Mr. Electric.

Tony Blevins was punctual, professional and did excellent work. He worked for a total of four hours at my house.

My appointment was scheduled for any time after noon on Friday, and Mr. Electric would call me and give me 30-45 minutes to get home to meet the electrician. They called between noon and one o'clock, and I was home 15 minutes later and the electrician was in my driveway. Michael Scott, the electrician, was very nice and helpful. He gave me a flat rate quote before doing the work, and then installed the light fixtures within an hour. I paid with a debit card. I liked that he didn't "disappear" to his truck for a half hour to calculate the bill, like some repair personnel do. The entire transaction took less than an hour and I was very satisfied with the results. I got $25 off for mentioning Angie's List. I will definitely use Mr. Electric in the future.

The servicemen arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, obtained a new fixture and installed it with no problem. They were very professional, polite and helpful. I haven't had any problems with that light since their visit. I would recommend them to anyone in need of quick-turnaround electrical repairs.

Mr. Electric's technician was very professional and explained everything they were doing and how this repair was going to work. When they arrived the tech was very pleasant and courteous. He put on protectors over his shoes and even protection on my floors where he had set his tools. They cleaned up very well after the work was completed. There was a little vibration that I noticed a few days later...I called them back and they were right back out to fix the issue. I must say I am very impressed with this Company. I know they are part of The Dwyer Group in which since I have used Aire Serv for my air conditioning, Mr. Appliance, and Mr. Rooter all with GREAT results. I highly recommend Mr. Electric and these other companies.

They were clean and they were safety oriented. They never come in to your home but they don’t check your smoke detectors. I want other people to know that they put safety first.

I was purchasing an older home and needed an inspection to verify the electrical wiring was safe. The man showed up, wandered around and didn't do much. He seemed confused the entire time. He also rambled and I had no clue what he was trying to tell me. The home inspector ended up doing a much better job, but I would have liked an expert opinion.

I was amazed Mr. Electric was able to look at the problem just hours after I called. Michael meticulously examined each outside outlet until he found the culprit. After that it was a simple fix. He was very professional and explained everything he had to do. He answered all our questions and suggested that we caulk all other outside outlets to avoid the same problem. Will call them again if I have electrical problems.

Ryan was right on time for the appointment and very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and exactly how much it was going to cost. He installed 2 light fixtures and ensured my wife was satisfied with the way they looked. Ryan then performed a safety survey of our house and identified a few areas of improvement which we were very grateful for. Ryan made sure to clean up when he was finished, and you can't even tell he was here (other than our new outlets and light fixtures).

I would not recommend him to a dog. They came in and they said, do you want us to do a home inspection and I said no. I don’t care for home inspection, I just want you to do what you are here to do and get out. It took them two days to finish a job that should have taken four hours. He hands me this home inspection report and he had pictures of everything in my house, it had to take him at least half day to do all the photos. I thought they wasted my time being here or having somebody stay here while they were here. He was a bad employee. I found a couple of things I wasn’t happy with but that is okay. They weren’t punctual on being on time and they sure weren’t on getting out of here. I didn’t like the guy at all. As a matter of fact, he even electrocuted himself while he was here and that’s doesn’t tell much about an electrician. I wouldn’t use him for anything again.

I contacted Mr. Electric to have an electrician replace every light fixture in my house and move fans. The technician arrived right on time and was polite, clean and neatly dressed. His van was also clean and organized and fully stocked with everything needed to perform the work. He gave me quotes to do all the work of replacing and swapping out all the light fixtures and ceiling fans with ones that I had purchased. They quote by the job/task not by the hour - which I found to be wonderful as other service providers who had also provided me with a quote, gave me an hourly rate which I know from experience can be a budget killer! The first quote gave me "pause" shall we say - so we took somethings off the list and focused on doing the ceiling fans and the chandeliers since that was something I could not do by myself. That reduced the cost to something I felt comfortable with and he went back out to his nice clean organized well maintained van and got his tools and came back in and went right to work. He was very quick and efficient and demonstrated significant knowledge of electrical work and the light fixtures/ceiling fans and how they go together. I am glad that I contracted with Mr. Electric instead of the handyman I was considering because once he started working he discovered errors/poor workmanship of the previous electrician (builder - the house is only 2 yrs old). The electrical boxes were not secured in the ceiling properly so the fixtures could have fallen. He discovered that the ceiling fan in the living room was not installed properly and could have fallen and really hurt someone. He secured all the electrical boxes properly and installed the new fixtures and fans correctly. The "pretty pictures" of the fixtures I purchased (which is all I had to go on) were maddeningly complicated to assemble and install. After seeing the skill and knowledge and patience he had with the "challenges" of the light fixtures & fans I purchased, I decided to have him come back and do the things we had removed from the list on another day. Part 1 was Tuesday and Part 2 was Thursday. Part 2: The ceiling fan I purchased for my master bedroom was way heaver than expected - and it also did not work. Because of his knowledge of the mechanics/electrical specifications he was able to fix the mounting plate that attaches to the motor and the fan blades and make the fan work quiet as can be. The poor construction of the screen porch ceiling also presented challenges for mounting and installing 2 new ceiling fans however he was able to persevere and safely install them. One of the fans popped the breaker and smoked when powered up. He was able to locate the problem with the wiring inside the fan, (nicked wire) repair and re-install it. (no handyman would have been able to do that!!) He also performed a safety check of the electrical system and when he checked the breaker box he discovered that 2 of the breakers were not wired properly (dishwasher and garbage disposal ) and he was able to replace this in about 10 minutes. He also took away all the boxes and packing materials from the light fixtures. He also offered to take away the old light fixtures, but I wanted to donate them so he helped me move the heavy chandeliers into the garage. I was very impressed with Mike Scott the electrician they sent out and will be having him come back and install some outside lighting for me when it cools off in the fall. He was polite and respectful and just kept on going like the energizer bunny efficiently and competently working to complete the tasking. I can't recommend him highly enough. I believe that the bad experiences of other reviewers are because of the quality of the individual electrician that came out. I got lucky and got a wonderful and skilled electrician who also had knowledge of construction which was invaluable for the successful completion of this job. Remember, it is a people business - so there may be some "bad apples" out there. I however got a great electrician and was very pleased with the service.
