Description of Work: Good, well planned job. Showed up on time for getting an estimate. He then told me they could start immediately. They did part of the job that day and completed rest the next day. Did good work but seemed more than a little expensive.

Description of Work: The work was good and thorough but costly. I will look for a more reasonably priced installation in the future. The $400.00 I paid was for replacement of 4 lights. I bought the fixtures and this was for installation only.

Description of Work: One of the technicians returned my call and walked me through troubleshooting and resolving my problem. He was tied up with another emergency but made the time to help me with my problem (power in half of my home). He knew exactly what to look for and directed me to the problem. This was late in the evening on a work night and I could have waited on a house call, but with the technician's guidance we fixed the problem. Not only did I avoid a late night house call and losing sleep, he did not charge me for his help (I offered to pay). The technician was a true professional and I highly recommend. I will call Mr. Electric for all my household electrical needs in the future!

Description of Work: I had no power to several plugs in the house. None of the breaker's were tripped and I couldn't figure out the problem. I called them and they responded quickly. It turned out to be that the breaker had tripped in the on position. They replaced the breaker and all was good. I thought the price was a little high.

Description of Work: I have used Mr. Electric for the past two years. I have used them for changing out lights to putting in a power surge protector for my home; both small and big projects. They have worked in my home even when I was out of town as I trust them that much. They can take care of just about every electrical need you could have. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Description of Work: We had 2 outside lights put up. We explained that we needed a type of outside lights for security reasons and since I am 64 and mother is 84 they needed to be maintenance free. Being old school we were led to believe that these lights would be the kind that could go a couple of years without problems. After only less than 6 months the light at the back of the house went out. We called and someone came out and after much discussion replaced the light under warranty. The light on the south end went out a few months later and we were told the bulb going out was not under warranty. After much discussion it was replaced with a unit where the bulb was more reliable. The light at the back of the house went out last week. It takes a r7s 300 watt 120 volt bulb by Phillips. The bulb is spring loaded -like a battery and I will replace it myself. Needless to say there is no way I am going to spend a couple hundred dollars a year having light bulbs changed. I don't like having to climb a ladder but at 64 I just count myself as blessed at requiring a new skill.
