HomeCraft Gutter Protection started in 2016 when a father-son duo working for a competitor company decided that they could provide a more efficient gutter protection system for an affordable price. Thus, HomeCraft was born.
We are dedicated to helping customers stay off the ladder. Our gutter protection helps water flow evenly into your gutters while keeping all debris out. We clean out, realign, re-pitch, and re-support your gutter system before installing our product. Our product comes with a Lifetime Transferable Warranty that can be transferred to new homeowners.

They are not responsible, they do not come at the time they said, when I call main office they said they will contact me back, but they do not call us back. Update 11/11/20 Did not realign gutters, did not follow through on work, did not return calls and were inconsistent on showing up, shoddy installation. Would not recommend.

I read the reviews but decided to give them a chance. The price was good and the installation went well. I would give them 5 stars but the installers did a poor job of cleaning up and left screws and nail all around my house.

We hired Homecraft because of their reviews on Home Advisor. Be advised that Homecraft uses subcontractors to do the work, so not all experiences will be the same. The salesman, Gary Von Gunden, told us that normally we didnt have to pay in advance, but because it was on credit card he had us pay before they came. Our first alarming moment was when the subcontractor first arrived They started ramming the gutter guards under the shingles, not lifting the shingles and gently installing them. I stopped them and complained, but they could not communicate. (Much later we learned that the subcontractor they sent to our house used gutter guards on 5 gutters, tearing our roofing felt and cutting, ripping, and damaging the shingles all the way around the house.) We had 4 of gutter replaced with a larger gutter, and instead of removing the hooks underneath them (used to hang lighting) they screwed in the gutter on top of them, damaging the eve in this location. The gutters were put together with hand cut strips, and look bad. They dropped the old gutters on the plants sitting on our patio when installing theirs. We spent the day having our painter interpret for us (he said they had a very bad attitude) and speaking into the phone so their supervisor could communicate with them. It happened that our roofing company came the next day after the installation to inspect and perform routine maintenance on the roof. That is when we were first made aware that there had been extensive damage done to our roof, and that the felt and shingles had been compromised, and that it will leak. Two days later one of Homecrafts other installers came out to assess the situation, and verified that the installation was not done correctly, and that the wrong product was used. We contacted Homecraft for two weeks, trying to get this situation resolved. We were told two days ago that we need to contact the subcontractors insurance, that they are responsible.. We contacted the insurance company, but have not heard back yet. We did not contract with the subcontractor, we contracted with Homecraft Gutter protection and wish we had never called their company. All we have requested to resolve the situation is to: remove the gutter guards, have the 40 feet of gutter they installed to replace our seamless gutter removed and replaced professionally, repair the eve behind the gutter where they damaged it, and have the roof returned to the condition it was in before they came and destroyed it. We have many pictures of the installation and damage done to corroborate this rating. The subcontractor used is GAM Home Improvement, and is registered in Alexandria Virginia, We are still awaiting hearing back from the State Farm agent also in Alexandria that is their insurance provider. Overall a very stressful situation, and now the tropical storm has arrived, and we know that our roof is possibly leaking resulting in even more damage.

Once we got past the timeshare like a sales pitch, all went quite well. The price was high but the sales company has to get their share. They were able to schedule the work for the following day while others were booked for several weeks. The quality of work and materials was very good and overall I am very happy especially since my old gutter system was problematic and needed immediate replacement with leaves starting to fall. The gutter protection guards are working great.

I wish I read these reviews before I let this company come out. I was searching on Home Advisor for a gutter company one night. I had not made any decisions or clicked anything but I got a call from HomeCraft the next day asking if I wanted them to come out and give me a free quote. I agreed and they sent Victoria out to measure and everything. She seemed nice and I was VERY clear in explaining that I was having issues with my deck getting wet due to a bad contractor and that I needed a gutter all around the deck. I explained that rain also comes in from the sides and that is why I need the gutter ALL the way around. She said she understood and put me on the schedule for the next day. The next day comes and I get a text from Javie stating that someone named Moises will be at my house in 30 min. This was the third time frame I was given. A man shows up and tells me his name is Javier...already confused because that is not who they said was coming but whatever. He does the work, I go out to look and see there is only one piece of gutter on the front of the deck. Nothing on the sides. I ask the man who did the work but he did not speak much English so I call Javie who had texted me earlier. It went to voicemail. The man at my house told me that he was only told to do 20 ft of gutter and if I speak to Javie and something is wrong, he could come back the next day and fix it. I text Javie to let him know I had just called and I wrote a detailed text explaining the issue and what I had explained to Victoria the day before. Instead of calling me back or sending a full explanation, he sends me a screenshot of some paper. No clue what I am looking at so, I ask. He tells me it is my order form (which I do not have a copy of) that shows an order for 20ft of gutter. I do not do gutters so looking at that paper with no other explanation means nothing to me. I asked him to call me and explain and he says a manager will call me soon. Victoria, the sales rep, calls and says she must've missed that I needed a gutter all around (B.S. because I was VERY clear) and that she would've told me the day before that they couldn't do gutters on the side based on the slope of the roof. She then calls me back and tells me that she feels really bad about what happened and she and her husband (who is not a contractor but just a nice guy) want to help. She asks me to send her pictures of the side of the deck so they can figure out a solution. She calls back again to say again that she really wants to help. I send her the pics on Monday...no response. Follow up on Wednesday to see if she got them...no response so I guess the concern was fake. Meanwhile, Javie calls me asking me if he can pick up the check for the work. As I had told Victoria the day she came by, I do not have checks and I had given her my card info. Javier says she did not mention it and that he was about to drive to my house. First of all, poor communication within their company and second, who just plans to show up at someones house for a check??? $700 later and they never responded and guess what? My deck is still getting wet. I wasted $700 with this company. They are scammers, terrible communicators and Victorias speech about how she loves working for a company that really cares about its customers is garbage. I fell for the sweet act. Never again!

The work that they did was excellent but they did not complete the most important part of the house that I wanted done. Which was the only reason I called them in the 1st place.

Much better than the last gutters on home, as these are bigger and look good too. I'm happy I decided to go with this company. Thanks
