Description of Work: My refrigerator poured water out of the door after changing filter. On the phone, A& A asked if we had done certain things after the filter was installed. I wasn't sure, so she came out. Fortunately, she was able to 'fix' the problem in 5 minutes. She immediately prepared to leave and didn't offer to check anything else. I asked her to check the coils, which she did. I paid $74 for 5 minutes of 'labor' which consisted of turning on the water and flushing the water line however, I feel she should have offered to do a minor tune-up (check front and back coils and temperature at the very least).

Description of Work: Via Angie's List, AA Appliance personnel "Lee" came, inspected and loaded 10+ lbs of R22 into unit. Was able to re-establish set point of 74F that evening, but during the following week, the unit could not hit that again and just ran continuously, until on the following Sat-Sun timeframe, it was determined that the freon had leaked back out. The old HEIL unit was done. Lee quoted 5700 + ancillaries, I told him to go for it. | |21 July 2015 |Purchased and installed by AA Appliance HSV. Paid $5950. The order was for a 4 Ton 14 SEER single stage heat pump. | |The crew were very nice and helped me place/level the 16" pavers and leveling sand under the pre-fab pad so that the new unit was no where near the ground like the old one was. They installed a second breaker in the SQD box outside for the heat strips (10kW). The Bryant unit is extremely quiet and very smooth running. The inside register outlets quickly hit in the low 60F range and the humidity started dropping right away.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, the appliance could not be repaired, due to its age and condition. However, they were direct and offered some ideas on how to replace at least cost, even stating that some providers could beat their installation fee.

Description of Work: The service technician worked for an hour trying to locate the problem, which turned out to be in the water line and not my washer. She was knowledgeable and really helpful in identifying the real problem.

Description of Work: came out on time and said that entire user control panel needed replaced because plastic was brittle-which it was. Quoted about $280 for part plus a service charge. I got part from Sears for $180 and easily installed the panel.mmyself.

I asked for an afternoon appointment, yet, the service person showed up in the early morning, went to the wrong address, warned that it would probably take more than the hour allowed by my purchase so I could be charged an additional $65 hourly rate.

Description of Work: My dishwasher was not draining during the cycle. It would drain when the DRAIN button was pushed. Technician explained that newer models of dishwashers do not have a timer, but are computerized. She said my motherboard was dead. Knowing that replace the board would be almost as much as buying a new DW, I decided not to fix the appliance.

Description of Work: On Nov. 30, 2011, the owner assessed why our heat was not working. He had also fixed a problem the previous December. He gave us the option to repair or replace the furnace/AC. After my husband talked directly with the owner two days later, he decided to purchase a new Bryant HVAC system with propane conversion. The order was made that afternoon and installed the very next morning by three hard-working, polite, and efficient employees.
