Description of Work: We hired Two Men & a Truck to move us from a 2 BR apartment to our 3 BR house. The apartment was on the top floor (up one flight of stairs) and the house is 2 story with 6 stairs on the front porch as well. So, it was a tiresome move...however, the guys wore out very quickly and were not in any hurry. It took almost 8 hours. When you're paying by the hour, it's frustrating to feel like they're leisurely moving. BUT--they were very polite and made sure everything was done to my liking. Overall, it was a good experience. I think it was more like a 6-6.5 hour job, not a 7.75 one.

Description of Work: Very predictable provider- you know what you are ordering when you hire them. That is important. Like staying in a Holiday Inn- you have a pretty good idea what you are buying. The upside to them is that they resolve issues immediately. We had an attitude problem with one mover and we called in the complaint. They sent a manager out ASAP to handle the problem and I liked that.

Description of Work: We used 2 men and truck from Huntsville,Al and had a very wonderful professional experience. We moved a lot of antiques and all went well. In Nov. 2013 we used 2 men and were very disappointed with the Bham group. 1. They did not come out and look things over before official move day. We had explained we had a piano to move, china cabinet,tables,living room, den, bedrooms. They were Late on moving day and only sent 2 (inexperienced movers) who after seeing everything and noting we lived on a hill - it was not good. This was not fair to the young guys - they did the best they could but ended up having to park at the bottom of hill . I felt if someone had come out and taken a look at things before move date everything would have been a lot smoother, along with having more than one truck.

Description of Work: Didn't use them. Called and was given some story about if move is over 30 miles they have to go be state guidelines. Quoted price that was double or more from any other vendor for same move
