July 20 2023 was not my first experience with Two Men and a Truck, but once again, it was the very best! Thanks to my piano, it was three men and they were on time, friendly and very efficient in packing my furniture and other items. They were also very gracious when I asked for help loading a few things in my car. They were just as gracious taking everything inside my new-to-me home more than an hour away. It may seem silly to some folk, but from the beginning, they made sweet friends with my dog, a beautiful, aging chocolate lab. He would have gladly gone with them--any where! :-). As I have told friends, family and others: Two Men and a Truck is the best choice for any move. And I cannot leave out the welcome and preparation staff in their office. I remain deeply grateful as I continue unpacking!

They charged a lot for a little work.

After I was placed in a tight spot because another moving company refused to move me the day of, I called Two Men and a Truck in a panic. Everyone I interacted with was amazing, from start to finish. They were able to accommodate my move the same day I called and saved the day!

The two men were polite and courteous and were very careful with my belongings.

The men who actually provided the move were quite good, and I tipped them accordingly. Unfortunately in the quote the representative underestimated the job. At the end of the first day the movers announced there was no more room on the two trucks and left. My wife and I made 5 trips to our new house working approximately 5 hours until 1:00 am completing the move. A few weeks later I received a survey asking for our evaluation. I gave a bad evaluation but never received further contact. I assume the company only values good responses.

Everything went well, even with a prickly service elevator.

Both gentlemen were polite and respectful. They worked well together and were very efficient with their time. They knew how to and quot;take the cornersand quot; without any hesitation. I have used them in the past and will use them again, if only to move things around my house.

These guys were professional, personable, and courteous. They worked quickly but carefully. Many of my items had been stored for quite some time, and they alerted me when they found boxes that were weak and needed replacement. It was important to me to keep some items stored together in groups. They consulted with me about where the items would be moved so that they could pack things efficiently and according to my grouping needs. I've used this company several times, and I've always been very satisfied with the results.

I packed and they unload. They never took a break. They are very professional. They were always asking me as Would you like us to move this there? Would you like us to open this for you? etc. Very consistent in their professionalism.

Two Men and a Truck had a very large challenge in moving me. I have a very extensive collection of crystal china, fine antique furniture and a vintage grand piano. They took at great care while moving everything for me, and did not scratch any piece during the entire move. They went out of their way me, and were very polite and professional during the entire process. I have recommended two men and a truck to other people and will contine to recommend them in the future.

Initially I spoke with a rep over the phone from Two Men and a Truck. We discussed all of the furniture I had and if I needed two POD containers or one. The rep said one. So I ordered one POD. When the two young men arrived the lead guy said I am unsure if all of this will fit. I said your rep said it would. He said she doesn't know what she is talking about. Although disappointed, I said well make sure we get the furniture on as I can store boxes easier than furniture. He said ok. As he was loading it appeared he wasn't utilizing space efficiently. He loaded all of the boxes first. I am not a mover but I am not stupid. Although I am glad he moved quickly, as they charged $126 an hour, he moved too quickly as to determine how to fit everything into the truck. I finally made a suggestion and he took it. He told me my suggestion wouldn't work but it did. That's when I realized he didn't really care if all of my stuff fit on the truck or not. He was just trying to finish. This happened several times and each time he huffed, puffed, rolled his eyes, and spoke to me as if he were frustrated I was there. I realize if I had not been there more furniture would not have made it onto the truck. After a few hours of this I was really regretting I hired this company. He left off two mattress sets, an iron kitchen table, a small desk, and misc small items. I feel had he packed a little better or put the table on earlier, it would have fit in the front of the truck. I paid them and he left. I was so mad I just wanted them gone. The center of my frustration was about the lead guy not caring if the all the furniture vs. the boxes made it onto the truck. Also, his attitude grew uglier and uglier. Companies are only as good as the people they hire. After a week or so I called Two Men and A Truck's headquarters. They directed me back to the Birmingham Office. I called and spoke with a manager. He asked me what happened, I explained. He asked me how he could make it right I said refund half of my money since I had to store the left over furniture. I was moving into temporary housing not directly into another home....and since the Two Men and A Truck representative instructed me to only get one POD...he refused to return any money. He said this was all my fault and that is what lead me to write this review. I recommend you do not use Two Men and A Truck. Noone there is professional.

They called when they're on their way. They're just on time. They moved fast. They dropped boxes off. They've ran out and got more boxes.

They arrived on time, worked hard, didn't break anything and were polite and professional. They only thing they didn't do was have cardboard wardrobes for moving our clothes.

I had used two men and a truck several times in the past while living in Georgia for short distance moves. They were always very good and outperformed their estimates. I have also moved several times in my life with various large PROFESSIONAL moving companies. This move turned out to be the worst and most expensive move, for the distance moved, I have ever gone through. They showed up with two trucks and four young men. You pay per hour by truck plus supplies. We were having them pack some of our items and we had packed some of our items. We were paying for each box they used. It turned out that only one of the movers somewhat knew how to pack boxes. The other three were completely clueless. The person that somewhat knew what he was doing was also in charge of the move. If one of the other guys had a question he was pulled away from what he was doing. After being at our home for several hours and they had not even finished packing our kitchen items, the leader called their office and asked for some additional help. This move was supposed to take one eight hour day. Later someone from their office (supervisor) came to our home with additional boxes and also looked at how far the TEAM had progressed. After looking over everything he came to me and told me they would have to return the next day to finish up with everything and they would bring people that knew what they were doing. That meant that I would have to pay for an additional day for four people and I would have to pay a higher rate because it was going to be on a Friday. I had no choice at that point because they had most of our furniture loaded on a truck and I had to be out of the house by Sunday. On Friday they came back and the other truck did have one person that somewhat knew what he was doing. They continued to pack boxes and pack furniture. At this point all I could think about how this was costing me $220/hr on Thurs. and on Friday it was costing $226/hr. When we moved into the house we were moving out of we used a PROFESSIONAL mover. It took three Men a full day to pack everything and load the moving van and then drive from North Georgia to Birmingham, Alabama this is about a three hour drive. When they got to Birmingham they unload everything and set up beds and other items they had taken apart. Bottom line at the end of the move, it cost much more than it would have if they knew what they were doing. When we started to un-box things we noticed how a lot of the boxes we paid for had very little in them. We also noticed that some of our kitchen items were missing. We also noticed that some of the boxes were double boxed because they used the wrong type of box to pack with. We also noticed that several of the Wardrobe boxes were used before ($14.00 ea.). We also had some broken items in the boxes. I was so mad I didn't want to send their survey back, because it would have been very heated. But what made me finally write this review, I have a professional desk, that I paid over $3700 for, they had moved to a storage unit for us. This unit has several pieces that bolt together. The desktop is supported on one end by a cabinet (they unbolted there) and the other end it is attached by two bolts to a support leg (they did not unbolt). When they put the desk top into the storage unit they put the support leg flat on the floor with the desk top straight up in the air. This caused pressure on the two bolts and at some point the desk top broke off of the support leg. This made a $3700 desk useless. Their policy says they are not responsible for items stored in a storage unit. This move ended up costing me more to move 6 miles than a move 3 years earlier to move 220 miles. I will never use them again and I would strongly urge you to use someone else.

I cannot recemmend them highly enough.

Professional, energetic, polite and - dare I say it - fun young men. They made what could have been a very stressful moving day soooo much better.

Their service has been great every time. They are solid. They get everything there, without a lot of breakage. Most of the workers actually care about what they do. I do not remember what I paid, but the price seemed fair. They scheduled me when I called. They were a little late, but arrived within the hour. I would definitely recommend Two Men And A Truck, and would use them again.

I used them several times over 15 years. They're extremely professional. You don't have to worry about anything getting broken or stolen. They have great prices. Anything I'll move, that's the only person I'll call.

They were unbelievable; very, very good. We paid them by the hour; it was raining and they were almost running to get it done as quickly as possible. They came in about an hour and a half under what they estimated and saved me a lot of money per hour. It is probably the best mover I have ever had. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

They packed me up and moved me 20 miles. They are punctual and careful with your belonging. They are very expensive. I packed everything and it was like $3500 and they didn't pack a thing. I'll trust somebody else, and I can find somebody else. It is not price prospective.

We like them and they were very courteous to us. The price was reasonable. We will use them again in the future.

They were very careful with the items they moved. They didn't break anything. I had some high end items that they took extra precautions with. I have been very pleased. The price was very reasonable. I don't remember the exact price but they were either the cheapest or right in the area of extremely reasonable.

There were really no dislikes. They did everything just right. Everything was fine and secure. It was satisfactory.
