Two Maids & A Mop

It looked great. I was very pleased.

The " girls, or cleaning ladies" , as my husband calls them, have done a great job every single time. They are friendly and professional, and our house always looks & smells cleaner & better after their visit. It is wonderful to have the bathrooms & kitchen cleaned, and the vacuuming & dusting done. I am beyond thankful!

This is the second time I have used Two Maids and a Mop and I have been pleased both times. Everyone is very professional and my home has been cleaned above my expected standards both times.

I bought a house in Vestavia and before we moved in I wanted a clean house for my family. I set the appointment for the day after I closed. They ladies showed up at 8am like they said they were going to be. But unfortunately, Birmingham Water Works decided to turn off the water before I had a chance to get the water in my name that day. With no water, the ladies had to quit. Luckily for me, Two maids and a mop rescheduled for the next day. They cleaned everywhere. There was only one small cobweb in a corner of the house when I looked at it the next day. And I'm sure the spider spun it after they left. :)

The girls showed up on time and did a great job cleaning my house! They got some things that I haven't been able to get to in a while and brought the shine back! I would give them a 10!

They did a great job with cleaning. But beyond that, they left my wife a handwritten note that they had washed our dog's food and water bowl and put fresh water back in the bowl for our dog - that was very special and considerate since our dog is important to us. It did not take them much time to do but it shows their understanding of us as a family and what we value. Two Maids has been very good to us - and our dog!

I have been using TM&AM since last October. I can't say that I am 100% pleased with their work as it is hit or miss most of the time. I have then coming twice a month - one time for a full clean for $97 and the other time for a "light" clean for $76. I really can't tell the difference between the two types of cleaning. When they are supposed to change the sheets they don't even though the sheets have been left out for them. Not all surfaces are cleaned all the time. The last time they came, the bathrooms did not look like they had been touched. the only reason I know someone was in the bathrooms is because the floor mats stuck to the floor because they put them back down on wet floors. I have had several cleaners and TM&AM aren't the worst I have used, but they could be a lot better. I continue to use them because I haven't had the time to find another company to take their place and I don't want to have to change my locks again. I am hoping with the change of management they get better or I will make the time to make a change.

They have been doing a good job, they are very thorough and prompt.

They did an excellent job. I request the shower recieve extra scrubbing attention, and the maids generally do a good job at getting the mold out. In addition to doing good work, the ladies are punctual and friendly. Also, the scheduling is easy with them. They are very flexible to work with when having to reschedule regular cleaning visits. I will definitely continue to use them for my house cleaning needs.

Terrific! I have used Two Maids and a Mop for over 2 years now and have found them to be cheerful, professional, punctual and very responsive to feedback. My cleaning last week was wonderful, everything shined! I had asked if they could clean my screened-in porch, now that the weather is nice, and they did a terrific job - even mopped the floor to get all of the pollen up (instead of just vacuuming, which was my expectation). Thank you Leslie & Ashley! Two Maids & a Mop are very customer-service oriented. Everybody has particular things that they like to have done with a cleaning, which varies from customer to customer. Anytime I give feedback on something I would like done a certain way or something that didn't go well, they note it and remember it for future cleanings. I have been very satisfied with the service!

I had a lot of stuff and my house was dirty. They organized as much as possible and cleaned windows, baseboards etc. I am very satisfied.

Two Maids and A Mop do a wonderful job - they always call me the day before they come to the house, they have two maids so that they can work quickly, and they are very good at what they do.

The first time that Two Maids & A Mop came, you look at it like you don't know them and they don't know you and they don't know what you want but they did extremely well. They found out where things were and took care of things and then the last group that came were very good and very thorough.The overall service went very well. They took care of their business and moved on to the next client. They were excellent, they have been punctual and extremely professional in their service, they are take care of your appointment times. I have used them for a couple of months only but I am really pleased with them so far. They seem to want to know what I think about things and about their work.

They arrive when they say they will and get the house cleaned. I have been using them for weekly cleanings for several months now and anytime I saw something that I wanted done differently, they have accommodated me. I like having the same people come to the house, they know what I like and where I keep my trashbags, etc. They are always pleasant and friendly. The price is a little high for weekly but they do such a good job (and I do get the premium cleaning, not the budget) so if it was a huge issue I would change my plan. I have recommended them to several neighbors and will continue to use them.

This is the second time I have used Two Maids & a Mop. They responded quickly to my need for service and were able to add my house to their rotation within 2 days. With an infant that's into everything and doesn't give me time to clean, that was important to me. In the past, I've had a few concerns with the job performed in my house. I am very detail-oriented and noticed things they had missed or skimmed over. They listened to my concerns and this time, I was very satisfied and will continue using them. Their first visit was a thorough cleaning and when I walked through my home, I could tell they had been there. My only concerns were that neither bathtub had been cleaned and the dog water bowl hadn't been moved when the floor was mopped, but with the rest of the house looking the way it did, that was no big deal. Two weeks later, they came back for the basic clean. Outside of lights being left on and my dogs being left out (they usually stay in the kitchen with a baby gate), I was completely satisfied. Their prices are slightly above average for other companies in the area, but they do a more thorough job than the other companies I've used. I pay close attention to the details, especially since I have a crawling baby, and they get my house as close to my standard of clean as possible. No other company I've used has come close to the standard at which I consider my house clean.

I don't know how this company got rated at #1 cleaning company. I have given them 3 opportunities to clean my house and to my dismay I have been very disappointed. The last time was the kicker, when I came home and it was obvious that my kitchen floor had not been mopped and under my table had not even been swept. I ask them continually to make sure my kitchen sink and shower were clean, and it never looked like it had been touched. It just frustrates me when I come home after having my house cleaned and I have to go back and do it myself. I had company come into town and I had to go back and redo almost everything that I thought I had paid to get done. To me that defeats the whole purpose of hiring a cleaning company.

Overall we were really happy and would recommend. The girls are easy to contact and communication is clear, informative, and prompt. I initially scheduled them based on the email exchange with one of the girls as well as the reviews here. I can see why they're one of if not the top rated housecleaning service on Angie's List. I would recommend and we'll be using their service again.

We have used the service for quite some time and have always been satisfied. We recently moved and took the service with us to our new location. Today was the first time for the maids to visit our new home. We had furniture being moved in today and unfortunately it showed up later than I had anticipated. So the moving men and maids all got here at the same time. Lindsey and Ashley took it all in stride and worked around wherever the movers were and whatever they were doing. Add me and the dog (Molly) into the mix and it really was crazy. They were very professional and did a great job ? doing the little bit extra that we appreciate so much. There were stains in the bathtub from previous owners and they did a great job scrubbing them up. They were both very nice and even had Molly (our dog) warming up to them by the time they left. I really appreciate the great service and I?m glad I was here to be able to meet them. I?d love to request them again. Thanks again and please let them know how much I appreciate them.

I HAD A PREVIOUS CLEANING CREW BUT THEY DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH ME AT ALL, PLUS THEY DIDN'T EVEN COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER. SO I FIRED THEM. THE FIRST TIME WITH TWO MAIDS AND A MOP, I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH DANILLE AND HER PARTNER FROM THEIR OPENING DRAWERS TO CLOSING DOORS WITH BOTH INSIDE TOGETHER. I EMAILED PAULA AND I NEVER SAW THEM AGAIN. THE GIRLS THAT ARE COMING NOW ARE GREAT. THEY ARE FRIENDLY, TAKE CARE OF THE HOUSE CLEANING AND AS I AM DISABLED DUE TO MY BACK, THEY DO MY ROOM LAST SO I CAN STAY IN BED AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

Dawn and Joy arrived and did an excellent job of cleaning my house. They were very nice and professional and asked questions to insure they met my expectations. They worked steadily for 2 hours to clean everything and I was very happy with the results. I would definitely use them again and would also recommend them to my friends.

I opted for a deep clean once a month and a regular cleaning every other week. However, what I am getting is not even the "light" housekeeping that I do daily. The first time they came to the house I was home and the cleaning service was excellent. All surfaces were dusted not only around items but they moved items to dust underneath them as well. All chairs were pulled out and floors cleaned under tables, couches were moved and hardwoods swept and mopped under them. Even though the sheets were not changed - they didn't even ask me where my linen closet was, I was still extremely pleased with the quality of work performed. This quality of service lasted one more time and since then I have not gotten all the services that I pay for, the house doesn't look any cleaner than it did when I left in the morning, surfaces are not thoroughly cleaned - they are wiping around items not moving and doing the entire surface of counter tops. The floors were not completely vacuumed - I could see dust bunnies under the couches! Yesterday to prove to myself that I wasn't just being nit-picky, I left "tells" around the house so if the girls were really cleaning like they are supposed to be cleaning the "tells" would be gone. Every "tell" that I left was exactly where I left it yesterday morning when I left for work. I have tried to contact Dawn but we keep missing each other. i have left her messages regarding the deterioration of the work but it continues to get worse.

The ladies were punctual. They were respectful and they were quite mprofessional.

it went well. The housekeeping service came in and cleaned our house, which is very much needed with a 2 year old. It was great walking in after a long day and knowing that I didn't have to do anything. Even my 2 year old said "it smells clean".
