They did all the prep work, repaired several damaged areas around the garage door. I thoroughly walked through and told them areas that I thought needed touched up. I didn't have any problems. One day they were late, but overall sis a great job. the foreman was Alex and they were nice and professional

Very we'll! The job was completed while we were out of town. We have used the company for deck staining as well. Wouldn't use anyone else!!

Did a good job painting the exterior of my home. They were late by 1 day to start the job, but did call to let me know that they will start 1 day late. Got the job done on time. Work quality was very good.

I got a great price but when they showed up late and then brought a friend and another woman who just talked to them as they worked I was disappointed. They did not finish the first day because they were late and said they would lock up when they were done. That was at about 8 pm. I told them to come back the next day and they rushed as fast as they could to finish and leave. I was told by the person who gave the estimate .......the one who did not speak broken English...that they would fill any small imperfections like nail holes and small nicks. Nope. None of the small stuff was filled and I had to go back over it again myself because the crew was long gone. Caesar also had me fill out their performance questionnaire on how they did. He stood and looked over my shoulder while I did it then took it instead of me giving it to the owner or manager. I am quite sure that never made it back to the office.

All went well. Peter? showed up as scheduled and provided an estimate on the spot, signed me up, and made it easy. Price was good I thought. Workers showed up about 15-30 minutes late, but was not a problem. Workers were nice, clean while working, and cleaned up their mess well. I did have to ask them to sweep up a room that they forgot but they quickly and happily did so. Work took longer than expected (2 days vs. 1) which was an inconvenience. Extra coats were required, I believer, to get a nice finish so they had to allow it to dry... not a big problem with me. They allowed me to provide the paint for the bathroom since I had already purchased it planning to do it myself - that was appreciated. Job was completed as expected and looks very nice. There was no mess left behind. I would hire them again, and probably will one day. I did change my mind and decided not to have one of the bedroom ceilings painted. They did decrease the price, but not enough in my opinion - only $75. The receptionist/scheduler could have been more polite and nice - she was not necessarily rude but was all business and seemed in quite the hurry every time we spoke - but she was proficient and got her job done.

I called The Painting Company having used them on three other projects. Doug was always on time for the estimates, the crews always were on time and cleaned up each day. One room ran into a coverage issue and it had to be painted three times but they worked with me in a reasonable manner. One bathroom paint job started to peel two months after painting. Doug mentioned we would need to re-paint it with a different paint that could stand up to the steam of a shower in the bathroom. Doug mentioned he would work with me on re-painting it when I called again. I called back and Doug had moved to another state location. I have called the company for a re-paint and am willing to even pay for the service. I have called four times, talked to Jeremy , the estimator three times and he says he will pull my ticket and call me back. They never call back after four of my calls. Poor response and very unprofessional. Even the nice girl that answers the phone has noted my repeated calling ! It was never this way when Doug was there !

They were everything you can ask for. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

They were great. They came out, started the job and stayed until they were finished. They came and fixed something that I didn't like within couple of days of my phone call. They cleaned up and the guys were nice. They were very good. Their price was average. I had called several other companies and got other quotes. They were willing to do some work that some of the other companies weren't willing to do. I wanted to do the work so that it was low enough so that I could reach on a short ladder to save some money. Some of the other companies that came out said that they couldn't do it.

Would have liked the opportunity to have considered their work, as they support a favorite radio station with their ads

They did come out for the estimate, however, they never contacted me with a quote. I even followed up with them after several weeks and they did not respond to my follow up. If they were not interested in doing the work, the least they could have done was to advise me of that. I do not think this is the type of company I want to do business with, especially if they can't even follow up on a quote. That told me all I needed to know right there. Will not reccommend to any friends or familly.

Good work workers were prompt, courteous, very talented, communicated well, welcomed feedback. Quality work.

Our experience was extremely frustrating. They initially told us it would be 5 1/2 days and it took about twice the amount of time and I had to take off work to forsee everything. It was sloppy and they had to bring in another crew to get it taken care of. The second crew did a good job, and I have friends who have used them so I think we just didn't have a good crew at first. The initial crew was late everyday and left early everyday but the second crew came earlier than they said they would and stayed late and got the job done.

Very professional. Walk through before the job with supervisor for me to describe everything to be done. After, another walk through for all corrections - there were a few. All handled immediatley.

They were very good and they did a good job. Their estimate was $300 but it ended up being $400.

The owner came and quoted the job and we were very impressed.The workers were delayed but it was not a problem. They communicated and that was good.The job supervisor never showed up on the job site, ever!The inside work was good, extra painting was handled by paying the painter directly $20 or $30.The front door was refinished on the outside with gel stain. The owner said they did it all the time.The painter said otherwise. The painter had problems making the front door look right.After the job was complete and paid for, I called Greg and asked him to come and look at the front door.I told him i thought he needed to look at the door and tell me if he would have it on his house.HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. EVER!

They arrived on time, each painter introduced himself to us, discussed the scope of work to ensure they understood what was expected and then got to work. They were all extremely professional and courteous. The employees in the office were extremely nice to deal with and most accomodating.

The day before they were going to start the job, the project manager called us and told us that as we sent them our color choices, we included interiror trim color, but the estimate does not include trims. Well, when we looked at the initial estimate, it only stated walls and not trims. So, this was a mis-assumption on our part but it really did not cross my mind that trims might not be included when we are talking interior painting. The estimate for adding the trims was very expensive for us and we decided to not include it. A crew of 4 people started working in the interior rooms. They were all very professional. They did a great job. However, it took them longer than what the project manager told us it would. Especially, after they started painting the outside, weather also didn't let them work as planned. So the initial 3.5-4 day job took a total of 15 days (12 business days). As I said it was partially weather but I now understand one needs to prepare herself for this kind of delay with a paint job! During this time the crew was sweet and the manager cooperated for all our requests. We would consider using them in the future.

They were very easy to work with and they were very good.

They stick to their estimate and do what they promise they will do. They move furninture for you and clean up after themselves. Theyalso come when they say they will and are very reliable. I have used them twice now with two different crews each time and both jobs turned out great. I would highly recommend them.

It was excellent. They had an excellent service and they did a wonderful job. They are located in Birmingham.

A little pricey but extrememly professional. Repaired some trim that had weather damage. Performance was exactly as advertised

I met with the sales guy and got an estimate on a very specific work list during a walk-thru. The job super then came with the crew, cornered my husband, walked him through the rooms and got him to sign-off on a list of work that was not nearly as complete as the work order the estimate was based on. My husb thought it was what I had told them already but they had his signature on less work for the same price and they stuck to it. Short / long of it -- we had to hire another painter to come behind them to add second coats where old paint color was visible, where they had just missed painting altogether or had refused to paint because it wasn't on the second job list, had lots of drips/runs on doors and molding, and had damage on our exterior paint where they had leaned interior doors against the outside of the house. Doors were rehung poorly. Hardwood floor damaged by tape they used to fasten plastic around furniture -- did not use drop cloths to cover. Company would not acknowledge punch list sent to them via email and regular mail. Said we signed off on the job already when my husb contacted them. My husb did sign something when the company told him they were done but he did not know it was waiving our walk-thru or punch list or satisfaction guarantee -- which it really wasn't. The company just wouldn't address the punch list. DO be sure that the company doesn't try to reduce scope of job once on-site by dealing with the "other" spouse or sending someone else in to revise the scope of work after you get the estimate -- make your own notes as to scope of work when you get the estimate so you can give them to the supervisor who may not have any information as to the job or who may be looking to limit it. DO be sure you keep a list of the original scope of work and look at EVERYTHING before you pay them and let them leave the site. We had to pay another painter to fix so many problems they left behind, including work included in the estimate and then excluded when they "rewrote" the work order. And we still have damage 3 yrs later that we can't afford to fix -- finish damage to hard wood floors and big drips in paint on the interior doors that would have required extreme sanding to fix. When coming by for a final check, the sales guy did paint, at our request, the trim work at the entrance to the bedroom where repair work had been done but the painters did not paint, even though they walked past it every day. The sales guy did "look around" with my husb in tow when he was collecting the check but my husb didn't recognize that as a walk-thru. He was naive in paying them before the walk-thru -- I was going to do the walk-thru later, when fumes had cleared, because I was the one who had ordered the job and gotten the estimate. I was pregnant and couldn't be on-site during painting so my husb wasn't paying close attention because he thought they were working off my information and he wasn't "involved". Maybe they could tell that he was willing to accept whatever they told him and they KNEW I wouldn't be on-site to correct it before they left. We felt played. My husb and I will never "trust" the bigger companies to do right without doing our own CYA and without a tight communication about the job. I hope the company has changed in the last 3 years. There is no reason it cannot do quality work and stick with original work orders.
