The Mad Hatter sent two gentlemen to clean our air ducts. They were actually about 45 minutes early to the appointment (they called ahead and asked if they could come early) and they walked me around the main level of the house and basement to get a feel for our duct work and air conditioning system. They were knowledgeable about the system and made some suggestions for improvement without trying to sell me anything. They told me their plan, and I left. When I returned home from work, my house literally smelled and felt cleaner and I could actually hear the air moving through the return vent for the first time ever. My wife was told that our vents were some of the dirtiest they had seen, so these results may vary in newer homes or with systems cleaned previously. But for us The Mad Hatter was money well spent. The chimney inspection is free when the air duct cleaning service is performed.

I called to make an appointment and was told they could be at my house the next day. I was also told how much it would cost and because it was considered and quot;off-season,and quot; I received a discounted rate. I was also told the name of the service man and when he arrived the next day (on time), he introduced himself and got right to work. The process did not take long despite the length of time it had been since the last cleaning. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and will definitely call them again next year.

Was disappointed with the price for the amount of service done. He was through in less than an hour.

The company responded the next day (I called after hours) to my phone call and they were out within a week to do the services. They were very friendly over the phone and very knowledgeable.

I wanted to have my chimney cleaned and inspected because I had never used it before and I had just bought some gas logs. I noticed there was a crack in the back of the firebox and I was worried I would have to replace it. I was worried he was going to try to up-sell me and tell me I needed to replace the firebox, but he told me the crack would be fine and not to worry about it. The chimney and gas logs are working great now!

It went very well. They were on time. They explained how they were going to clean the vents. They were very systematic and efficient. I was very pleased with the result. I would definitely use them again. Several years ago I had them install a chimney cap.

Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the work performed. One word of warning, Mad Hatter will only clean the duct work and not the system itself (coils, etc.)

I didn t appreciate the price because I thought it should have been much lower. My ducts were dirty, even two days after being cleaned. I thought for the price and what you paid for they should have been lasting longer. I just wasn t happy with the ending results. I trusted them in my home, just my overall experience was not good with this company.

They showed up at the time that they were scheduled to show up. They were young men that did the job. They were very respectful and polite. They were very thorough as they checked every vent and duct. They have a real good service. I couldn't recall the price but I would say that they were very reasonable.

The only thing I can really think to tell you about the guts at Mad Hatters is how clean they made things for me. You would really be amazed at the difference you see in the amount of dust particles that deteriorate after services are completed. They definitely made things easier to keep up with cleaning wise. Anyone that can do that is more than welcome to come back to my home. The only thing that I cannot remember is the pricing.
