They are doing a good job and their charges are reasonable.

Was fine at first, but then falsely invoiced cannot do much more than mow-- cannot really landscape or do much else.

These guys are great. I called one day, they came and gave me an estimate the next day, and came out and cut my yard two days later. Fast, professional, affordable. Highly recommend.

After two visits from Details, I am quitte pleased. They are fast, courteous, thorough and professional, and my yard is looking better than I ever could have done on my own. They have mowed, trimmed and edged the lawn, trimmed my shrubs, weeded a small flower bed, and applied fertilizer and weed control to the lawn. They always leave everything clean and looking great. I look forward to having them handle these things over the hot summer months, when previously my work schedule prevented me from keeping things looking like I really wanted. Now my yard looks just as good if not better than my neighbors! I would definitely recommend them. NOTE: The price I listed is for my frotn yard only, and was negotiated by reducing the frequency of some of their typical services such as fertilization/weed control - for the full package your quote will likely be a little higher.

I was looking for someone to fix up our landscaping and maintain it; of the three companies I called, two responded. Michael was able to give us an estimate quickly, showed up on time, discussed everything with me and explained all his suggestions, plus his bid was the lowest and he clearly knew what he was talking about. The crew showed up the afternoon before they said they would and got a head start on the work. They all worked very hard, did a great job in a very short time (a day from start to finish), and were a pleasure to have here: polite, friendly, and focused on their work. They left me with clear instructions on how to help the sod and new plantings establish, and left the property looking better than I'd thought possible given our budget. The invoice was exactly what the estimate had been. I am happy to have these guys back for semi-monthly maintenance, and would definitely hire them again for larger jobs.

I chose them based on their reviews on Angie’s List. They charged me less than what they had quoted and did a timely job. I have used them on request with no standing service with them.

I called on a Tuesday and by the next afternoon when I got home from work, the leaves were gone and the yard was clean and tidy. I have enjoyed having Details do my yard work and I will be using them in 2013. It is a relief to have finally found a lawn care service that I can trust to be responsive and responsible.

They do a thorough job and are quick and efficient. One is on a riding mower while 2 others are edging and weed wacking.

I have a recurring service plan with Details, and they deliver every time. They currently perform the following for me: shrub trimming (and other minor landscaping), lawn mow (and edging, etc.), and lawn maintenance with high quality natural products periodically throughout the year. They just came by this past Monday and my fiance commented on how good of a job they had done. Plus, I have personally met the owner, and he is a really good guy. They also kept an eye out for some new hydrangeas we had planted.

While I would have preferred a call back and estimate sooner, I was contacted in a professional manner and have received excellent service. Contact since then has been by email and they have been great. They are very professional and actually pay attention to the slopes and quirks of my yard versus just cutting it at the same level as the customer before me. Everything has been very clean when they leave. I have had issues with my gate to the backyard and cannot find anyone who will return my call to repair the gate so the yard crew is having to work with me on getting into the backyard. I know it is a terrible inconvience to them but they have not complained at all. Hopefully I will have it fixed soon. I have not previously had a yard service to compare pricing to and this was the first company I called based soley on Angie's List so the pricing may be a little high, but it may be completely fair. I would reccommend this company to anyone.

The yard looks terrific! They do a great job not only mowing, edging and trimming. But they prune all the bushes, but keeps the pool deck and patio cleaned off too.

I contacted Details about getting my lawn "in shape" as I was having a problem with bare spots and weeds. They were very prompt and helpful in going through some different options. In the end, I decided on weed and fertilization treatments and then lawn aeration in the early spring. All of their work was done as promised and my lawn looks great!

I called and left a message on a Friday afternoon to ask for a quote for some yard work. Michael of Details Lawn & Landscape contacted me the following Monday. I found him to be very polite, courteous, and professional. I would have loved to have done business with him, but unfortunately, his business does not do work in Alabaster. But if he's ever able to come down to Shelby County, I will definitely be calling him.

They do a great job, have been cutting my yard for years. Always professional and great to work with as well as very fairly priced. They maintain my lawn as well as mulch/pinestraw it a few times a year and do all the pre-treating that keeps weeds out. Have never had a problem and my yard looks great.

They did excellent work at reasonable cost (they charged $ 50.00 per grass cutting and $ 80.00 for leaf clean-up), were very professional and punctual. I will definitely employ them again this year.

Michael Cowan came out a couple of weeks ago. Looked at our yards--we have quite a large area. Worked around the weather in choosing the best time to come out. Crew came out today. Took a couple of hours. Did a great job. This was their first time to do our lawns, and we are very pleased. Don't think Michael was with the crew of 3 or 4.

They show up as a team. They work very quick and they do a great job.

I called for an estimate, and they provided me with one promptly. I was happy with the price, so I hired them for the work. They were out to my home within a week of my approval. All in all, I was satisfied with their service

Overall they are a very good fit for us.
