Arrived as scheduled. Worked fast and finished on time. After completion door was a poor fit. I let them know and they came straight out, determined door was warped and replaced it without question. Everything is perfect now.

Overall, this has been the least stressful construction experience I have ever had. Jeff showed up on time, provided me with a quote within hours (with options) and did all the leg work to handle permitting and inspections for the project. He and his crew showed up on time every day and worked very hard to get the project done very quickly. In the end, we have a huge, beautiful deck we will enjoy for many years. Very professional crew, I will refer them to friends and family.

Their work was professional and perfect. The crew was always on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. Their skills were beyond perfect, giving great care to details. I would recommend them to everyone. My family can find me any day of the week relaxing and enjoying our new addition.

Exceptional experience from Jeff Snyder's Deck Works and crew! We spoke with numerous contractors concerning the removal of our old deck and rebuilding a screened in porch with a deck to the side. Frustrated and disappointed from the time and effort spent, we were ready to forego this project. Then we saw an ad for Deck Works. After doing some research, we called the owner, Jeff Snyder. Immediate impression was that we had finally found the right contractor. Jeff offered a fair price and was willing to work with us to accomplish what we wanted done. The entire crew are courteous and professional. They arrived ready to work diligently and with attention to detail and completed the project on time. It was soon obvious that this was not their first rodeo. These guys know decks so they are able to do a good job in quick order. We would absolutely recommend Deck Works without hesitation. Jeff Snyder had his crew show up on time and on the date we scheduled the work. He provided ideas on design and his pricing was very fair. He educated us on materials and types of sealer/stain so we can protect our investment. Jeff communicated well and finished the job quickly. They tore down the old deck, cleaned up all of the debris and hauled it to the dump which saved me a lot of time and effort. He did not require any payment until the work was complete and we were satisfied with the results. We will get many years of enjoyment out of this new deck and I would recommend Deck Works to anyone looking for a fair and honest contractor that understands how to design and built custom decks. Jeff and his team did an outstanding job! They screened in the covered part of our patio, including archways, and installed a screen/storm door. Also built a great pergola out of cedar over the open half of the patio. Everything looks fabulous and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. The guys were punctual and very hard-working and professional. After we received and approved the quote, Jeff came back out and met with us again to go over specifications and answer questions. After the initial contact we had a little wait for them to begin the work because of his work load, but I can assure you it was well worth the wait! Would definitely use again; we highly recommend Jeff Snider and Deck Works.

Very professional! Quick work! Very pleased with whole process from start to finish. Especially likes the lights installed on posts which come on from dusk till dawn.

Jeff met with us twice before they ever began to work our job, so we could ask all the questions and see examples of decks and the Trex materials involved. Once they began our job, they were very hardworking, mannerly and professional from day one. Even with the rain delays, they finished in less than 5 days. Using the Trex materials meant we had to wait a little longer than we had hoped and Jeff himself was very sick for a few days, but the wait was definitely worth it! We have a beautiful deck with two colors of Trex materials used for the decking, steps and rail cap boards. The final product made use of a cantilevered design so that the deck actually hangs over the deck supports, giving us even more square feet than we had originally. Mr. Snider was the one who also suggested that we expand our walkway, an idea we had not even imagined. We even elected to have low voltage lighting and it looks amazing! The young men who work for Jeff are outstanding in their work ethic, manners and absolutely no smoking or foul language. If you need deck work done, Deck Works will give you great workmanship with pleasant people who work well and hard for you! We are very pleased!

The Deck Works team does outstanding work. They integrated this work with an existing deck. It looks great and they produce quality work that is done the right way. They listened to what we wanted and delivered on what I described. They are friendly, on time, trustworthy, and they do what they say. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called Deck Works about a month ago and they came out and gave me 3 quotes on a screened porch of various sizes. We chose the middle price and size. The start date was set (about a month out), we had a lot of rain for several days straight so I knew that date may push back, Jeff called and let me know, kept me updated with when he'd start, it was just a few days different than the original start date. His guys came out and started on a Tuesday, had it dried in and shingles on by the end of the day Wednesday. The electrician came out on Wednesday and ran new circuits and switches and hung two fans. The project was finished on Thursday, with the only thing left to do was hang the doors, which were ordered and coming in on Friday. The entire job went smoothly without incident, his guys were professional and very nice and a pleasure to work with. He only had two sub-contractors working with him, Roofer and electrician. I had the electrician add a few extras for me and he was happy to help and very professional, he actually went above and beyond my expectations and mine are pretty high since I use to be in this business. I could not have been happier with the outcome, nor the experience I had in dealing with Deck Works and their sub-contractors.

Jeff gave me an estimate within days of our first communication. He had his iPad with him to show me work he had already done and to give me suggestions and options that I would not have thought of. Jeff gave us a good price and promised the work could be done in 3 days. One previous contractor said it would take him 2 weeks! From the time he gave us the estimate, Jeff went ahead and penciled us into his very busy schedule, so when we gave him the go-ahead, he could get on it promptly. As the start time grew closer, Jeff kept us updated about the scheduling of our project, and kept in contact with us regarding our start date. Jeff and his crew arrived early and worked non-stop for 3 days. Eventhough it was raining the first day, that didn't slow down their tearing down my old deck and porch. His crew, Joseph and William, and his son Adam, worked very efficiently together, and I had no problem leaving them working when I had to leave home, as they seemed extremely honest and hard-working. As estimated, they completed the deck and porch in 3 days. The new porch and deck greatly extend our living space and the lights installed give it such a professional look! The work site was completely cleaned up when they were through. My neighbor, watching the work, has now gotten an estimate for Jeff's crew to do work for him. The work done by Deck Works was outstanding and I would be proud to recommend Jeff and his crew to others.

Jeff Snider and his Deck Works team were great. I called Jeff to get a quote to have my covered patio screened in. He had me a quote within several hours of me calling him. Jeff advised me on the design and the best choice of door. I extremely appreciated his expertise. I hired Deck Works and within a week they were onsite working. The project took about 5 hours and the guys did great work. They were extremely professional and answered all my questions. We were having this new wood painted so Jeff allowed the screens to remain out until the painting had been completed. Jeff was extremely accommodating to come back to my house to install the screens after the painting was completed. I would highly recommend Deck Works for your next project.

Flawless from the start. I spent several months meeting with different contractors and obtaining quotes. I waited as long as three weeks for some individuals to assess the job and received a quote via a text. I chose Jeff and Deck Works because of his excellent communication skills and professionalism. I received a quote within 24 hours of inquiring. Their quote was somewhere in the middle range that I obtained and detailed precisely what work would be included. I could not have made a better choice. Jeff worked with me to get the deck replaced quickly as it was getting dangerous for my children to use stairs. I was completely informed of the work schedule and optional choices that I had. His employees worked methodically and meticulously from sun up to sun down. (actually worked into the dark one night) They quickly answered any concerns or questions that I had. The area was cleaned up after completion of the deck and all remnants of the old deck were hauled away. The finished product looks fantastic and will be a great new addition to our entertaining space. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff Snider and Deck Works to anyone needing repair, replacement or addition of a deck space.

Jeff had his iPad with him with sample photos showing optional features which was a big help for my wife and me. Jeff gave us a good price, and kept in contact with us regarding scheduling of the project. Jeff gave us over a week's notice of his start date, and arrived on time. Jeff and his crew worked efficiently and completed the porch in 4.5 days. The quality of Deck Works' craftsmanship is outstanding and "heavy duty". Never got back to me with a price

I received several bids for my new decks and screened enclosure. Jeff came by the next day after I called him to scope out the job. He then provided a very competitive bid within just a few days that included a design sketch and specifications. Jeff also provided photographs of other jobs similar to ours that was a tremendous help. Jeff had a lot of great suggestions to help us make some final adjustments to the design. In addition to price and quality my selection criteria included that the contractor be honest and trustworthy and be available on my job during the construction of the decks. After talking to him for a while it was apparent that he took a lot of pride in his work, loved the Lord and his Church, and would lead the entire construction effort. He did not disappoint. He consistently did what he promised, showed up on time each day and led an excellent crew that was very experienced in deck construction. The two decks and the screened enclosure turned out great. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone needing a new deck or screened enclosure.

Jeff and his crew exceeded by expectations in many ways. He was quick to provide me with a written estimate detailing various options which were discussed during the initial site visit. The price was the lowest of three cost estimates that I received. Jeff was patient to answer my many questions intended for me to make sure the deck would be very stable and very safe. Exceeded all my expectations!! I had my new lower deck planned out but chose a deck specialist to ensure that I used someone who could envision my dream. Jeff listened to what I wanted and the final deck design he came up with was beyond anything I had imagined. All along the way, if there was more than one way to do things, Jeff consulted with me to get my opinion. However, if I was not sure or could not really decide, I deferred to Jeff and the decisions he made were spot on! Jeff and all of his workers were polite, considerate of my property, and very conscientious in all of the work performed. My site was cleaned up on Friday even though they were going to come back the next week to finish up several things. Once the final work was done, all of the scrap wood, etc. was cleaned up before they left. The estimate provided was in the middle of several estimates that I had obtained but I was impressed with Jeff's experience and expertise illustrated when he met me to do the estimate and in looking at his portfolio. I was thrilled with the end result and feel that I got my money's worth for all of the work that was done. Thanks Jeff for a wonderful DECK experience!! We had a wonderful experience with Jeff Snider and his crew at Deck Works. They arrived on time every day and completed the project right on time. Jeff and his crew are very respectful; there is no foul language or smoking on his job site. They were also sweet to my 3 year old who enjoyed watching the deck being built. The quality of work is fantastic. Jeff pays close attention to small details that give the deck a nice finish. He provides lighting options that really make the deck! We had no complaints during the whole project.

Jeff called me back the same day and came out to the house for the estimate on the same day. He was very friendly and gave us some great design advice. He had his iPad and was able to show us pictures while he was taking measurements. He told us he was insured and always pulled permits. We had the quote within a couple of hours via email and he was about $1,000 cheaper than the lowest quote we had. We told him we wanted to move forward and he was able to work us in within a week. They started on Thursday late afternoon and finished around 11am Saturday. They were hard working and very professional. I was most impressed by Jeff's proactive calls to give me a status before he started the job and all the way through to the end. He was great about offering design advice that we would never have thought about. The deck is both beautiful and sturdy. We really love the new design and the lights.

I haven't a single complaint in regard to the job performed. The crew was punctual, responsive, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I shopped around and in comparison, the cost was much lower than some of their competitors and included installation of the ceiling fan(which I provided) and the low voltage lighting that other competitors didn't even include.
