Description of Work: Had two septic tanks drained/cleaned and when he prepared to do the 3rd septic tank there was a problem. he dug off top and around and found tank had collapsed, called me to tell me I needed another septic system and did not charge me for all the work he did.

Description of Work: I called Aardvark to evaluate a problem with our septic system. He came and surveyed the site and offered very detailed advice toward resolving the problem. Since he did not want to waste my money by performing a service that would be needed again when the system is repaired, he did not charge me. He was responsive and very knowledgeable. I will certainly call him again when his services are needed.

Description of Work: Mark was here a little ahead of appointment. I showed him the sketch I had of the septic system. He used his long metal rod to wearily the location of the septic tank and estimate the location where the hatch was. He use a shovel to dig down to it and he was right on the money with the location of the hatch and did not have to dig up my yard trying to find it. He evaluated and we could also see it needed pumped. He set right to work doing that and it went great. Can't say enough about his professionalism and knowledge. He put all the dirt back and grass cap and you would never even know he was here. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: HE PUMPED OUT THE SEPTIC TANK. There was a wet spot in a flower bed close to the tank and my wife thought the water was coming from the tank. He immediately checked the water and said that it was not sewage, and that the tank probably didn't really need pumping. I let him pump it any way and he did an efficient job. The water was coming from a small leak in the water pipe coming into the house from the water meter.

 + -1 moreI am very pleased with t he company and Mark, the owner, who came to my house before the appointment and found the cap in a matter of minutes. Very pleased how he took the time to put a tarp near the opening to place my grass. So, many company's you hire just cut and throw on existing grass. By using the tarp he was able to use all the soil and grass to cover the cap cover. He was also the lowest price company. All I found on Angie's list started at $400.00. I would "highly" recommend Mark for his services. Mark also came across as a very honest person when you asked questions. For example: I also have another septic tank for a detached garage. Mark could have made another $350. on the second tank but was very honest and gave me several reasons why I did not need to clean the tank at this time. How many company's would do that and save you the money? I highly recommend Mark. There are several listed for septic tank cleaning that I have used in the past for plumbing that I will NEVER have on my property again! Cost me three extra vacation days and water pipe leaks!!
Description of Work: Mark came to clean my septic tank. Was very professional. I could not believe how fast he was able to find the cap...dig and clean and go! Super...pleased. I even asked him if he did anything else that I could hire him for because I was so pleased with the entire project.

 + -1 moreHe showed up on time. Found the Septic Tank cover in about 3 minutes. Pumped everything in what felt like 30 minutes which was fast. He cleaned up after he was done and put the grass back in such a way that you can not even tell a hole was dug. Perfect A+ Service!!

 + -1 moreWe are very happy and thankful for finding this service via Angie's List! It was not an emergency but simply that we felt the service was due and to head off any possible problems later. We called him yesterday and he set up the time for today. He arrived promptly as scheduled this morning, located and cleaned the tank, thoroughly cleaned the area and there are hardly any signs of the digging needed to access the tank after he left. Very personable and experienced! We would most definitely recommend him!

Aardvark Septic came up when I ran the query for 'Septic Service', so I gave them a call. I was immediately impressed with the owner's knowledge and how he answered all of my questions.
