Aardvark Septic

Aardvark Septic is Highly recommended and easily justifies my 5 star rating. First used Aardvark Septic Services in 2012. Mark did a great job. 10 years later Mark, once again, did a great job. Explained the condition of my septic and offered expert advice on proper care and usage. Located the tank lid in minutes. After unearthing the lid and servicing the tank he replaced all the dirt. With the exception of unavoidably disturbing the surface grass, you can hardly tell he was there.

It is hard to know how well a septic tank cleaning goes but we were happy with the job

I called in the morning and they performed the work that morning. The work was done as promised at the price that was quoted on the phone. They were very professional and courteous.

Total time Took less than an hour. Mark was able to quickly locate my tank and (deep) dig straight down to the access lid with no disturbance to surrounded area. Sod was removed and set aside and all dirt was placed on tarp. Tank was pumped quickly to the trucked parked in my driveway, so there was no driving through yard or compacting the soil. Had extended hose to reach all the way around house. After it was pump, hole was filled in and sod was replaced. It is hardly noticeable that anyone had even done any work in the area. Afterwards, Mark answered my questions regarding septic system and maintenance. Would recommend and would hire again for any future needs.

Mark was very efficient and professional. Asked before driving the truck into my driveway. Advised against opening my garage door after I stated that I would open it for him to come in after the job. Said I wouldn't want the fumes from the truck to enter. He did a very thorough job, and was $100 cheaper than others in the area that did not have as good a review on Angie's list.

Mark was on time, professional, and very informative. He located the tank, dug the lid up removing a minimal amount of sod, emptied the tank, and inspected it for problems. Then he replaced the sod. The job was completed in under an hour and the job site was cleaned up when he left. We are very satisfied and highly recommend Aardvark Septic.

It was a great experience. We had our septic tank cleaned out in the past. Since we have an older septic tank, you actually have to dig down to the lid and raise it up to properly drain the tank. The previous people broke a hole in the top in order to access the tank so they would not have to move the substantial amount of dirt our of the way. The Aardvark worker chose to do it right. He dug the lid out and lifted it up. Once it was open, he found the roots out were starting to impact the abilty of the sewage to go from the house to the tank. Once the blockage was cleaned out, he made sure it was working properly. Because he chose to do the job right, he saved us a costly repair in the future. I highly recommend them.

I called early this morning just after 7:00 AM and left a voicemail. I got a return call back about 20 minutes or so later AND he said that he was able to come out the same day. He provided me with an estimate and I set the appointment. I was surprised to get a text from him letting me know that he was getting ready to come out after he had finished at his previous location! That level of communication was awesome. He arrived within the estimated time that I was given went to work straightaway. He educated me on a few tidbits regarding proper septic maintenance like cleaning the filter (should I decide that I want to do it myself). He's very educated and knowledgeable about all things septic. I was satisfied with the price, communication and level of service. I will call on him again when I need future septic maintenance, as well as recommend him to others ANY day!!

Really great job. Showed up early and was very friendly. Had all tools and was finished in well ahead of ahead of what I thought it would take. Left yard in really good shape and secured all the openings. Would definitely hire again and will hand out his business cards!

Mike arrived on time and was very courteous! He did a great job and educated me on my septic system as well. I would highly recommend him!

Mark (the owner) showed up on time, dug up the tank covers and placed the sod and dirt on a tarp. The tank was pumped with the covers replaced and the sod back in place in just over an hour. His truck carries enough hose that he was able to park in my driveway and reach the tank in the backyard. He did a great job of leveling the work site and the area should look as if nothing happened in a week or so. Mark answered all my questions and took some extra time to explain how the septic system works as well as how to properly maintain it. I highly recommend him.

Mark arrived early and set about locating the tank and cover. He dug the cover up removing minimal soil, and then started pumping the tank. He was very informative and professional and the work was done quickly. When job was done, he put soil back and cleaned up the worksite. Price was representative of other quotes, but on the lower side of those obtained. He indicated that price is a function of which county the work is done, so be sure to make sure quotes are for proper county. Very pleased with the work and have requested that he provide service at another property.

Phenomenal job! Not only did Mark pump our tank to do a visual inspection, he actually got down into the tank to get a detailed look. Well worth the money before purchasing our first home. Also gave great advice on keeping our tank in good condition and (hopefully) not needing his services for many years to come! He was a little late due to a confusion with our address, but was great with keeping in contact with us to let us know what was going on.

It was awsome service, he was on time , put a trap down and used a suare shovel. He cust 1 ny 1 foot squares of the lawn out and carefuly placed them on the tarp then placed the dirt on another tarp. drained the tanks (frist time in 24 years) he then inspected the system and all was well. He hand digs down to the lid and drains from the dirve way. when he was done I could not tell that he was ever there. If you need septic tank service you need to hire this man.

Excellent service! Mark took time on the phone to answer several questions I had. Showed up on time, put down tarps to protect my lawn, then hand dug down to the front AND rear lids of my tank. He said that he really only needed to get to the front lid to pump it, but he would dig out the rear one if I wanted to see it. No charge for double the digging! Mark made sure my wife and I knew how to check our system should a problem arise. Most websites recommend having your septic system pumped every 2-5 years. I asked Mark, expecting an answer in this range. He replied with "every 7-10 years, if we don't abuse the system." For a guy who makes his living pumping tanks to NOT give me the standard answer says a ton about his honesty. I'll be giving all my septic business to Aardvark. If you do, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

He laid down a tarp to put the dirt/sod that he dug up to access the septic tank lids. He cleaned out both sides of the tank and the outfield filter. The entire time he worked, Mark patiently answered all of my questions, explained what he was doing and how a septic tank works. Upon completion, he put the dirt and sod back. Mark was great to talk to...very nice! We will definitely use his service again and will recommend to friends/neighbors.

Mark was very professional for the service he was providing. He laid down tarp before digging for septic tank lid, using square shovel to cut sod pieces. Placing each piece of sod on tarp for easy replacement later. Gave explanation of what problems were seen, pumped both sides of tank after using gas powered stir tool to loosen sludge. Mark then patiently waited for us to check our indoor problem. Then used motorized plumbing snake on main drainage pipe from house to Septic. He suggested when we use septic treatment to use liquid kind, since powdered kind can get caught in pipes and contribute to your problems. When problem was fixed Mark then put everything back in place with the cut sod on top. Mark was easy to talk with and took his shoes off before entering the house. After calling around his price was very reasonable and would definetly use again.

Mark, the owner, was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. Mark arrived on time and quickly found the septic tank. As luck would have it, the septic tank was under an approximately 8X12 foot vinyl storage building which was built on a solid wood floor. Instead of me having to immediately relocate the storage building, Mark jacked it up to gain access. Mark definitely went the extra mile to service the septic system. I will definitely use Mark in the future and will recommend him to friends and family.

After the work began he explained what he was doing and made suggestions on what I could do to keep the system operating properly in the future. Upon completion, everything was cleaned up and restored to its normal appearance. I was very pleased in how thorough he was and how quickly the process went. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service.
