SUPERIOR PLUMBING

My husband and I struggled with one of our low flow toilets for several days trying to remove a clog without success. Because of the ratings and reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Superior Plumbing and left a detailed message. Robert called back promptly and told me he would come to our house after 2:30 today to fix our clogged toilet. He called again later to let me know he was on his way. Robert and his assistant, Brandon, cleared the stoppage in a very short time. We will definitely contact Superior Plumbing in the future when we need a plumber!

He was courteous and professional. Interacted will with my young children.

Extremely well. Prompt. Courteous & professional. Even removed his shoes when he came into my house to figure out the toilet overflow problem. He communicated with me each step of his inspection & discovery process. Was very impressed with his competency & experience levels of his craft. I specifically enjoyed having someone local do my work. Also, he returned my original call within an hour & he was the earliest available plumber. He came the next morning when everyone else I called was at least two days removed from being available.

This is an edited review, since Angie's List did not remove my original review like I asked them to. I am reviewing because I have used this company twice. They did a good job. Now, I need some more work but they did not answer the phone immediately. However, Robert called me later (about 1 hour) and was apologetic about the phone call since he was busy. After Robert called me back, I called Angie's List and asked them to remove my original slightly unfavorable review, however they did not as they had promised me they would do! Robert (Superior Plumbing) is a good guy wanting to do what it takes to do a good job, in my opinion. I am sorry I initially had a misunderstanding, or was not patient about a return phone call. I have just been ignored by so many other service companies that I have grown pessimistic.I

Did good job on first job. Would not respond to phone call for additional,work months later.

He made it sound like it was this tremendous job. That I had a break in the water line and they would have to dig it up and would take several hours. He was here for 30 or 40 minutes and charged me lots of money. He was dishonest with me.

I called Robert early in the morning and left him a voicemail with a return number. He returned my call about 20 minutes later and explained he had one appointment in front of me but would be there by 10am. Around 9 he called back and said he was finished early if I was available. When he and one other worker arrived he was very nice and polite. He asked what the problem was and then took a look. There was a very small hole in one of the pipes leading into the water heater. Now, my house has a stacked water heater/ HVAC setup and there isn't a lot of room to work. Robert was able to perform the work without cutting through the drywall saving me additional costs and repairs. Once the leak was repaired they measured the water pressure at the street and in the house and it was very high. They replaced the pressure regulator valve. All in all they completed both jobs in right at two hours. They cleaned up the areas very thoroughly and were just great to have help out. I will definitely call Robert when I need him again!

Unbelievable!!!! I needed a toilet repaired. I called Robert at 10:08 AM. He said that he was in the next town and "as long as I'm nearby, I'll get to you this morning". He repaired my toilet by 11:15 AM!! From call to repair it was 1 hour and 7 minutes. Robert and his assistant were efficient, friendly and very professional. The price was very fair. I will use them in the future without a doubt. Thank you Angie.

Robert, the owner, and his assistant Brandon were excellent. I called the day before, and Robert gave me an appointment for 11:30AM the next day. On the day of the service appointment, Robert called to see if they could come about 20 min earlier than expected, which was great. They arrived right when they said they would and got right to work. I showed them the toilet, bathtub handle, and leaky sink, and they found and fixed the other problems themselves, saving me time and money down the road. They were polite, professional, and friendly, even playing a little with my two year old son and my cat. They also left everything clean and in its place. I felt the price was very reasonable for all of the things that they fixed. They were here for about an hour and a half. I will defintely use them again in the future and would recommend them without hesitation to any friends or family, as well as other Angie's list customers.

It went very smoothly. There were no hiccups or problems and the work was done efficiently and promptly.

Robert Polk provided an estimate about a week and half before the work was completed. Although his estimate was not the lowest, he guarantees his work for a year. He was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. On the day the work was scheduled, he arrived on time and he and his assistant completed the work in less than the time he had estimated. The new water heater installation looks great! The clean up was thorough. I am extremely pleased with his work, and will certainly call upon Superior in the future!

We had called an other service and they did not return our call after 2 days , so we contacted Superior Plumbing and they were at our home in less than 2 hours. Went right to work and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes with a 30 day guarantee.

They came rather quickly. I had a leak and a blockage. He was here 30 minutes before I thought he was going to be here. He handled everything beautifully. The price was excellent.

He asked for a detailed explanation of what was happening with my sewer line and what had happened. He told me that I don't need to have anything done right now, but if there were more problems with the sewer, he explained how to deal with it. If the sewer line backs up sooner than 1 year, then there are probably significant root problems and he can run a camera down there first to examine the extent of the problem. It was all logical and he was very open with the information. I have received information from 2 other sources that simply wanted to sell me a lot of services that I apparently don't need at this point.

He was on time. Very neat in appearance and when working on a messy job. Very personable and respectful. After the drain was unclogged he made sure the area was spotless.

They were friendly & professional. Everything is still in perfect working order.

We found that there were other issues that needed an electrician. I have called the dishwasher's company rep to determine what is truly wrong as neither craftsmen could get it to function. Robert has placed me on his on call list which I greatly appreciate when and if I require his services. I will use him again without hesitation!

They pumped my tank on Monday to discover all my field lines were stopped up. Back on Thursday, to dig 6 field lines, when i got home the job was DONE! They had to take my fence down, when i got home fence back up, yard leveled, bushes replaneted. I would use them again. Thanks guys for being so nice and getting it done!

just stating the factsThe Job was very satisfactory the only complaint which really isn't bad , we discussed the unit we wanted and was given an estimate of $350.00 the price was actually 450.00. This is no big deal but usually estimates are perty close when you have discussed all aspects of the job in advance.. I am not complaining just stating the facts of the Job.

Last year when my a/c was leaking I called my neighbor to fix it, he owns a a/c repair/installation business. When I saw water leaking from the same area I called my neighbor again. He took a look and said the leak would stop shortly. It did not. Unable to get another company to come out on a Sunday afternoon, I woke up Monday morning to find a kiddy pool in my kitchen, some wet carpet in my dining room and a warped hallway. I was able to get another company to come out that morning and they basically wanted to sell me a new unit. My a/c was off as the guy was giving his spill about a new a/c unit and heater and that?s when I noticed the noise behind my kitchen sink. The a/c was working when the repairman arrived, my complaint was water. When I realized I must have a water leak I called the company that replaced my water heater. I was told they were booked and that it would probably be the next morning before they could come out and that I should try to get someone else. Because of the reviews on Angie?s List I called Superior Plumbing. After giving him my spill he asked if the water was turned off (it was) and told me he was working on another job but when he finished he would come right over. He did. He repaired my leak with a copper coupling and cleaned up the small mess from the floor that would obviously have to be replaced. I am VERY GRATEFUL for the quick response and repair, but also for Robert prioritizing a water leak in the wall over other jobs that could wait. That evening a friend of my sister came over to look at my a/c (he added freon and replaced a capacitor). As we talked I told him how much I paid to have the water leak fixed. He seemed a little surprised and said that was a very good price. Do not waste time calling other plumbers, call Superior Plumbing.

I called Superior Plumbing because 2 previous plumbers had failed me...the first one unclogged my sewer drain but told me I had roots and tried to sell me yearly root treatment. The problem recurred within a month. A second plumber then tore up my wall to get to a cleanout but failed to unclog my drain and left after bending his rotor rooter. When I called Superior Plumbing Robert came out with his fiberoptic camera and showed me that my sewer line was narrowed due to pipe corrosion and buildup of minerals. It was clear I needed my line replaced and that it was not a root problem and we arranged another visit although he was able to unclog my line enough to function until that time. A few days later he arrived exactly on time with a helper and using a small backhoe he excavated the old cast iron line. Then he replaced it with 4 inch schedule 40 PVC and also constructed a cleanout that can be accessed from outdoors. No more tearing up of walls to clean a drain! Not that I will need it anytime soon. When he was done before he left he had me run all the water in the house including the washing machine on spin and flush all the toilets at once while he checked the pipe through the cleanout. It handled the load easily! He took the old pipe away and left my property in good shape. He showed a lot of respect for my property unlike previous plumbers. It wasn't cheap but well worth the price as I am worry free and won't have to waste money on plumbers that put a bandaid on the problem or tear up my wall and leave.

Went great. Robert was very courteous and very reasonably priced based on what was needed to fix leak in bathroom.

It was a good experience. Problem was diagnosed and fixed. As it turned out, it was unnecessary for the unit to be replaced.
