Garage Doors 4 U

I contacted Garage Doors 4 U in order to replace two garage door openers that were with the house I had just bought. One of the old openers would spontaneously open by itself when small planes flew over-head. The owner/installer was quick to respond to my calls and was able to offer me a good quote right over the phone. Granted, the work I needed wasn't overly complex but I felt a lot more comfortable having someone who knew what they were doing do the installation. He and his helper showed up on time and ready to go. They wasted no time removing the old openers and getting the new ones in place. They showed me how to operate and program them. The whole time I was watching them they were friendly and helpful, and didn't mind me watching what they were doing. I was VERY pleased with their service and have already recommended them to a couple of friends who needed garage door work.

It was okay and the garage door works. They got the job done in about 30 minutes. The scheduling was okay and I did not have any problems.

They called the Friday I purchased them, set up a time for Tuesday June 10th. Arrived 5 minutes early. Replaced all rollers, adjusted springs, repaired rails and greased both garage doors. The doors are old but now they work like new. They were very professional and efficient. Very pleased!

The man did the work in about 20 minutes. He also checked the sensor that makes the door rise if there is something in the way. It had malfunctioned recently. He checked it and made sure it was working although that had not been in the original request. He was prompt plus he called to say he would be here in 15 minutes and he did. He worked efficiently and was very nice. This was a very professional job.

Fixed wiring that dog had destroyed. Came same day I called. He also fixed it was affordable

No problems. The size of the existing garage door was no longer a standard size so Garage Doors 4 U had to order a special made garage door. Garage Doors 4 U handle everything including coordinating the installation with the tenant.

The contractor showed up 15 minutes early for the appt, repaired multiple areas of the garage door that needed attention...even replacing missing parts. My garage door is so so quiet now, no one hears me drive home. I am scheduling him to visit all my rental properties as well. Very pleased after reviewing Angies List for this service...This is is what you expect from small business owners - someone who does what they say for the price listed, and does it very well.

The service is working good. They were good. The price was good. Everything was good.

Door now closes smoothly and is much quieter than previously. I have dealt with 3 or 4 other well known garage door companies in the past and have had various issues such as missed appointments, high prices and high pressure sales tactics. With Garage Doors 4 U I was able to get a next day appointment with no difficulty. Charles called and confirmed he was on the way before his arrival. He arrived on time and got right down to business. I was very pleased, will use them again. Highly recommended.

Doors were installed with out issues. Reconnected existing Garage door openers. Hauled away old doors and track system. After they left later in the day, I did notice the spring on one unit was hanging up slightly creating a poping sound. I called them left a message and had returned call almost immediately. Spring just needed to be sprayed with a little lubricant which i had - problem solved. Their pricing was the best for this Quailty door. Actually their price was slightly better even though had higher insulation factor than other quote received

All went well my garage door door works perfectly. Repairs done 12/2013 It is now 05/2014 , still working well.

He arrived on time and spent time explaining everything that needed to be done. He was able to offer either repairing or replacement of doors. He was very knowledgeable and made an excellent offer for replacing the doors. Unfortunately my husband contracted with another company and we were not able to close the deal. I would have no hesitation in using Garage Doors 4 U in the future and was sad that I was not currently using him.

Charles was punctual and professional, and took the time to explain a number of details that aren't all that obvious about garage doors. The garage door opener didn't work correctly after the springs were installed so he re-adjusted the tension on the springs and got the opener to work. Apparently, the opener's motor may be slight out of whack after a number of years of working with old springs so it may need to be replaced at a later point. When I get to that point, I'm sure I'll call Charles to install a replacement motor.

He arrived on time and quickly checked out the garage door and opener. After looking at the rollers, he told me that they were exactly the same type that he would have used and they were in good shape and did not need to be replaced. He cleaned the rollers and the noise level of the garage door opening was greatly reduced.

When I made arrangements for this service call, I forgot that the rollers had already been replaced. This was part of the service included in this call. Charles told me to contact Angie's list for a partial refund. However because the error was mine, I did not feel it fair to penalize him. He arrived promptly, made the adjustments etc as noted above. His initial contact with me was also very timely. The appointment was set within the time frame I suggested. I think Charles is an honest, fair person to do business with and I would definitely use him again.

My experience with him went great. He was awesome. He was very friendly and he also came immediately. It wasn’t something that I had to schedule weeks out.

Very pleased with the work completed. The chain on one of my garage doors came off last night and I was pretty frustrated as I had had both garage doors replaced less than 9 months ago by a different provider. Found Garage Doors 4 U through Angie's List and read through many positive reviews. Charles took my call last night, was at the house just after 10AM and completed the work in just under an hour. He explained the problem, explained how he was going to fix the problem, and gave some recommendations on how to maintain the doors better moving forward. Would highly recommend Charles.

Charles showed up when he said he would, gave me the straight diagnosis on the problem, and also offered feedback that replacements were really needed. Proceeded to service both doors badly in need of repair, and they're like new (even if still cheap). I would recommend this service, and will also be calling Charles when its time to purchase and install replacements.
