Description of Work: My garage door would only come up about one foot and stop. I would have to lightly help it up the remainder of the way. To my surprise I spoke with Charles McDonald over the phone. I told him what the problem was and he was able to talk me through self correction. That was the best experience I could have ever had. He could have come out and charge me a lot of money like another garage door services was going to do, however he told me it was something I can fix myself. Over all the other company was going to charge me $300. He gave me free service over the phone. This is a good man. Charles McDonald is a great person in my eyesight. If he can come do work for you please get him to do so. He will not take your money for something you can do yourself. I truly believe if you can't perform the work and need his services, he will give you the best price over any other.

+ -1 moreAbsolutely unbelievable!! My garage door hardware was damaged. I called Charles at 10 AM to see when he could repair the hardware since I could not open the door without further damaging it. He told me that he could repair it the next day. I asked him if he could squeeze me in today. He said he would see how the other jobs went. He called me at 2 PM. He said he could fit me in in between another appointment, He arrived at 2:35 PM and my door was repaired by 3:20 PM!!! Charles is brilliant, efficient, friendly, and extremely talented. I recommend his company 100%-without hesitation.

+ -1 moreWow! Our original garage door failed, falling on our cars on a Friday. Mr. McDonald and his wife came over the same afternoon, stabilized the doors and allowed us to get our cars out. He returned with a fully insulated door the following Monday. He removed and hauled off the defective old equipment, and replaced it with an outstanding new door in only about two hours. He's amazingly skilled, and gave us an exceptionally good price on the work, leaving us with a significantly improved door. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreCalled on a Saturday evening expecting voice mail. To my surprise, he answered the phone and said he could come in the morning (on a Sunday!). He arrived at 10am sharp as promised (on a Sunday!) and completed the work quickly at a fair price. Could not recommend more highly!

We really liked the door he showed us and the price was more than fair. We gave him the job on the spot. The garage door had to be ordered and Charles called us to schedule the install as soon as the door came in. He showed up for the job on time and did a great job. He cleaned up well and hauled away my old door for free. If you need a new garage door or service on your existing garage door then Garage doors 4 u is the company to call. I can see why they have way more reviews than the rest of the competition. Great Company!

+ -1 moreCharles called ahead of his appointment time and asked if it was convenient to come about a half hour early as he had finished his prior job. Charles looked at the door and immediately saw the problem. The original builder had not braced the door properly where it was attached to the opener. He installed a metal brace the length of the door, tightened the hinge on the opener and lubricated the springs. He also checked the second door and found it had not been braced correctly so he took care of it to avoid a future issue. I couldn’t have asked for a better guy to do the work. He will definitely be the person I call if I need future garage door repair.

He did great work and stands by his labor for the life of the equipment. He offers much better value than buying an opener through a big box store and having them install.
