The service went good. A part was needed and I supplied the part after waiting for a week. The part did not fit.

GREAT! They were here on time (a little early, actually). He knew quickly what was wrong, had the required part on the truck and repaired it in short order. We would definitely call them again.

Charles was very punctual, polite and professional. He adjusted and lubed the garage door and got it working well with no squeaking and screeching. He only charged me a minimal service charge and did not try to up sell me at all. He even showed me the product he was using so that I could do it myself in the future.

It turns out that the installation I had done one year prior by a different company was horrible. The repairman took apart the entire door and tracks and then reassembled (even moved the door an inch or two to correct prior installation). I also needed a circuit board so there were additional costs but the door is working better than ever before. I am very pleased with the work that was done and price beyond the coupon was very reasonable. Thanks Garage Doors 4 U!

Charles did an awesome job and we are very pleased with the work. The fact that he was able to repair our old opener without replacing with a new one was impressive... and he was honest and told us we didn't need a new opener... Would recommend Charles 100%!!!

I had to pay him out of my pocket because he had to fix some panel. He did pretty good. It got away because it got away from just a door opener to actually fixing some door panel. That’s where the costs came in, he did ok but I spent more money that I thought I was supposed to spend. His normal pricing was ok but I paid more than I thought I was going to pay. I thought I was going to pay in the vicinity of maybe a hundred or a hundred and fifty bucks.

Charles was right on time for the appointment. Efficiently replaced both springs and all cables on an old 28 year old garage door. I was very pleased with the amount charged.

He promptly responded to my request for a repair through Angie's List. He came out the same day and performed the repair on a broken spring, and then repaired a second issue with the door at the same time. Very punctual, professional, and efficient. I plan to use him for additional work this year.

I purchased the deal for the rollers but I also wanted Charles to look at replacing the bottom panel(s) and a spring. He took one look and said that he would request a refund and that I probably would come out better with a new door. He provided me with an estimate for repair vs replace whole door and I called into Thomassino Doors to check. Since I have a slope, the bottom panel would need to be special cut plus once you add in spring and installation, replacement was only another $100 or so more so I went that route. He did order the door and the distributor sent the wrong size panels so we had about a 3 week delay but it was over Christmas and he improved his pricing further based on this and another slight delay. When the correct size doors were available, he called and immediately scheduled and replaced, tested, tweaked, etc. the doors. It probably took him 3 hours for the install. In short, while I was a little disappointed in the delay and an aesthetic issue (common to steel doors on a slight slop and about which Charles could do nothing), I was very happy with his work, pricing and responsiveness. I would definitely not hesitate to call him again in the future.

Arrived early, which was fine. Went right to work as he could see the problem. Clearly very experienced as he knew exactly what to do. Made several adjustments as well as lubricated the door and the one adjacent to it. Even after all the adjustments, the door was still not level due to the floor being slightly unlevel. He made a final adjustment to the seal on the bottom of the door, using a pretty neat trick, that obtained the seal I wanted.

Reached out to them via email on Angie's List on Tuesday. They scheduled appointment for 11:00 am Wednesday. He called at 10:56 am to tell me he was in the driveway. They were efficient and showed the broken parts. Did a great job quickly.

The spring on our garage door broke. After seeing the positive reviews for this company, I called to request service. The gentleman that came out was very knowledgeable and friendly. He replaced the springs on both sides of the garage door and even corrected a previous owner's DIY error. In addition, he inspected, tightened, and greased the other parts of the door opener and door itself.

Arrived on time. Worked quickly, Friendly and pleasant.

Prompt response. I called at 9:30 am and scheduled service for 2:00 pm on the same day. Showed up a few minutes early. In about 30 minutes the new spring was replaced, all wires connected and my garage door worked again. Mr McDonald even disposed of the broken spring. Very professional company.

Excellent service. The worker was waiting on me when I arrived at my home. He was very nice and professional. He tuned-up both garage doors, replaced all rollers, oiled chain, knock out dents and repaired the loose rubber on the garage door. Had a little communication problem at first, emails not received, etc. however, the owner did contact me via phone and set up the appointment. Technician arrived a few minutes before the established appointment time. Broken springs were replaced, entire system was inspected and all rollers were changed. Garage door works like new now and actually is some what quieter. I would use this provider again.

Left message on a Sunday to call when he could. My garage door was going up half way and "crashing" to the concrete...so it was unuseable. I had to manually open so I could go to work on Monday. Charles called me back Monday and was out there that day. Not saying he can do that everytime, but he understood I was in a pinch leaving the door open. This is my second call to him. Spring had broken on the door. My first call was to take advantage of his offer on my rental property. You will not find a more respionsve small business owner. He delivers. Great addition to commuinity.

They were great. They were prompt, on time and did what they said they would do. They even came back because something else broke and fixed that too. No complaints.

I contacted Charles, owner of Garage Doors 4 U, through Angie's List messaging and scheduled a visit to replace an old, broken garage door opener. The appointment didn't show up on his personal calendar as it should have and he didn't arrive as we scheduled. I immediately contacted him and he was very apologetic even though it was really just a technical problem with Angie's List messenger. He even offered to do the work for free! When he came out, he discovered that we had the wrong size railing installed by the previous homeowner and offered to come back with the correct rail and still install it for free. We only had to pay the price of the railing ($150) thanks to Charles' sincere care for our satisfaction. It works perfectly now and actually makes our home much more functional and keeps us dry from the rain. I would highly recommend him for any type of garage door installation!!!
