The service provider arrived promptly, greeted me courteously, and set about the job in a very professional manner. I couldn't be happier.

Called Charles and he came out the next day. Very prompt and courteous. He was finished in about an hour. Would use him again..

Responded quickly but too two weeks to perform the repairs. Eventually did not charge because they forgot.

This is the second time we have used this company as they are excellent. The service is done professionally and on time. Highly recommend.

We called owner Charles McDonald on a Sunday and he was at our house Monday. Our garage door opener had quit working. Mr McDonald had a new replacement unit already on hand and brought it with him. It was really nice not to have to go out and buy it before he arrived. He was prompt, super nice, worked quickly, performed a safety check and oiled the garage door. And he was great to our dog, who felt the occasional need to supervise. I think it probably took him 30 minutes to do the work. We were thrilled with him and have recommended him to friends.

I called Mr. McDonald last Thursday when my garage door opener ceased functioning. He was able to come out at the end of the next work day to inspect my system and see what the issues were. He was punctual and called ahead to ensure I would be available at the appointment time. He showed up on time and ready to work. Inspected the problem and informed me what the repair costs would be. We set an appointment to conduct the repair. He was on time and had everything necessary to do the work. He then serviced the rollers on the garage door also. Total time for all the work was less than an hour. I was highly pleased with the quality of the work done. If I have other garage door issues he will be the service I call.

Called Garage Doors 4 U. An appointment was made for the same week. Communications were good. Technician arrived a little before time but called first. Work was completed quickly. Door rollers were all changed, tracks & springs were cleaned & lubricated. Technician also cleaned off the electronic eye which was keeping the door from closing properly. Everything has worked well since repair. Very professional. Would use again.

He did an excellent job. He made sure that the door was balanced. He was very nice. He was on time. In fact, I think he was a little early. According to everything that I've read in other ads and stuff, his price was reasonable for what he did. Their quality of work was excellent. He answered all my questions. He was very professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. They came out within a couple of weeks of when I bought it. They did a good job. There was nothing that really stood out. It was an adequate experience. It wasn't above and beyond but it wasn't sub-par either. I didn't have any problems.

Excellent job by Charles. I contacted him based on checking Angie's List and the BBB. We discussed the work to be done and set up a time for Charles to take a look at the job and give a proposal. He showed up on time and we discussed options from replacing panels to new doors. I elected to replace the doors and Charles had samples of the various styles, colors and other options for us toe examine and discuss. We set up a tentative time for the job, contingent on whether his supplier had the doors in stock and a date/time to confirm the project. The supplier did have the doors and we confirmed our earlier date/time for the work. Charles showed up on time, did the job in about 2 hours and left the place clean and tidy. We discussed the doors, manufacturer's warranty and Charles' warranty on his labor after installation was complete. Throughout the process, good communication, competitive prices and excellent work.

Went great. Left a voice mail and received a response within 10 minutes. Surprised, since this was a Sunday. Came out same day and on time.

After several up/down exercises and no failures, he noted that some rollers were squeaking and one side of the spring was adjusted weaker than the other, making the motor strain to get the door up.. So, he oiled several things, and adjusted the big spring on the weak side for proper operation... When we asked what we owed , he said "nothing" , I didn't find or fix the problem that you called me for, and you owe me nothing.. Needless to say, we were impressed, and will call him again if the opener fails again.

I was very pleased with Garage Doors 4 U. I placed an initial call and left voice mail regarding the service needed, and was surprised to get a call back within 15 minutes or so. They came out that very afternoon to give the estimate and the repair was scheduled for the next day. They worked with me to set up a late afternoon appointment and arrived promptly at that time. Work was done in 30 minutes -----faster than I could turn out a batch of cookies. Highly recommend!

He was very professional, promptly answering our call for a quote. We were given a few different choices for install. Once on site for the install, he removed the old garage doors and cleaned up the area nicely. We had originally opted not to use a battery back up but when he picked up our garage doors for installation, he found the battery back up on sale and purchased at his own cost to include in the installation for us! After searching for a few months to find a someone to replace our garage doors, we could not be happier with our choice! Would absolutely recommend Charles and use him again.

The first visit, using the Angie's List coupon, was for changing rollers and lubrication. Charles came out a second time to address a problem that arose because of a miscommunication. He handled that situation very professionally, and took care of a problem with the safety beam. He was very concerned that I be satisfied with the job he did. As a result of his second visit, I plan to have him do some reframing and reinstalling my rails.

When I got home around 6pm, the garage door wouldn't open. The spring that controls the opening of the door had broken. My wife's car was parked in the garage and she needed to leave early the next morning. I was worried someone wouldn't be able to make it out until the next day. I called Garage Doors 4 U and Charles picked up. I told him the problem and he said "I'm on my way". He got to my house quickly, started working, and was finished in under an hour. The work was excellent and professional and it runs more smoothly now than before the spring broke. He was at home doing yard work when I called and dropped everything to help us out. I can't recommend this company enough.

It seems like when you call someone to repair something, they never call you back or they take forever to get back to you. This is not the case with Garage Doors 4U. I was very satisfied with the same day response time to return my call. We scheduled the service call for 9:00 A.M. the following day. They called before they came and were on time to start the job. They completed the job in approx. one hour. and they followed up the next day to see the job was done to my satisfaction. He left an invoice and told me just to drop a check in the mail. I would use them again and refer their services to anyone.

I came home for lunch around 1pm and while the garage door was opening I saw the spring pop off and the door stopped half way. I was concerned that I would be able to get anyone out to fix it until tomorrow. I called Charles and he was on way to two other jobs in the area so he agreed to come by afterwards. He was very professional and was able to complete the job in about an hour. When testing the door I noticed right away that it was opening much smoother and with less noise than before. He told me he had lubricated something (I think the rollers). I will definitely call Charles at Garage Doors 4 U if I have problems in the future.

Great experience. After discussing what I wanted over the phone, he gave me a quote immediately. He was there when he promised with the product I requested. The doors were installed quickly and he cleaned up professionally.

He arrived on time. Did the work and was gone in 30 minutes.

While out of state thea lone door spring broke. They offered to come out on a Saturday. The repair guy suggested that we replace the not broken spring as well. We did. A first class company and senior, resident expert service person. Thanks!

Got same day service, thanks to a timely cancellation. Hard to imagine any way it could have gone better! Definitely my first choice for any future garage door repair needs.
