Gage Tree Service is very fair and very honest. They did a thorough job and was very good.

I used them over ten years ago once before. The service was outstanding. They were very professional. They came and gave me the estimate. I had four other people give me estimates. Since I had used Gage before and I knew that they have the ability to get into really tight spots and remove the tree safely without creating damage, so I went with them even when they gave me a great bid. They have a crane that they use on certain jobs, with very large trees and the crane operator and came over three days before the job to decide if they would come from the font or the rear, because there were trees on both sides of my house. We had wanted them to come from the rear but he told us that there were power lines there and that it was too dangerous, and I had never even thought of that, so they actually had to do the taking of six trees from my backyard and remove them from the front. They had to use the crane to lift the trees up and over my house. My neighbor had left their RV at the end of my driveway, under the tree so they had to deal with that, the trees and everything but they didn't damage a thing. They were in and out of here in two and half hours. They cleaned up after themselves. They were all very professional. I can't say enough good things about them. My neighbor was so impressed with them that they are now using them for their trees too.

They do an excellence job, and I would highly recommend them. They did the job just right, and there was no damage. I also thought that their price was competitive. When they grinded the stump, there was a lot of mess in the yard. Once they had left, they had picked it all up and cleaned it up very well. They always came when they said they would as well. They explained everything to me before they did it, and they even followed up with us.

I really liked that their estimate was spot on. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were prompt. They came on the setup time, did what they said and how long it would take. I did not like that they cut down the wrong tree. They took out the correct ones too and ground the incorrect stuff and obviously we were not charged for it and that was good. They also had to deliver some mulch for us and it took them a month to deliver the mulch that they kept forgetting. I paid for it and I had to keep calling them until it was delivered.

They're not cheap in terms of price. We will use them again in the future. They were reasonable and they were professionally good. They just did a good job. Things are expensive up here and I think it's ridiculous to pay them that much of money.

Their price is average. I would use them again.

The offer snowblowing service rather than plowing which most others do not. All of the work they've done for me has always been very good.

I would recommend Gage Tree Services. They have a great name in the community and they do great work. They have removed trees. They also did seasonal tree lighting for us. They were always on time. They clean up after themselves. They are reliable. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were great. The tree fortunately did not break a window, but they could not get the work done until the wind died down, but once the wind died down, they were out here right away and got it cleared. The insurance covered it and paid for part of it. They were really nice. The only thing I would have said that they could have done better was that they did not take the stump with them even though it was out of the ground. I wish they would have taken everything with them.

I had them come in and remove a tree. They then did a quick survey to see if we had any problem areas. They gave us a very accurate estimate.

Huge wind storm on the hillside had knocked down trees all over. This company drove around the neighborhood and was leaving their business card at the houses with fallen trees. Fortunately our tree had fallen away from our house and had missed the driveway so I wasn't in an immediate need of help. Not knowing who else to call, I called this company, spoke with a very friendly person who sent someone over to give a quote. The person arrived about an hour later and gave me some options for the tree removal. The price was $175 to chip the entire tree. $225 if they were to clean off the branches and limbs, and cut the trunk into lengths for firewood. The lengths are the entire trunk, not split into actual firewood pieces. I took a few days to think about it. I called to set up the work. Again, a friendly and efficient person helped me out. The crew arrived on time and did the work as paid for. I would definitely use this company again. I don't know how their pricing compares to other companies since I did not get any other quotes. My only complaint was the massive amounts of sawdust that was left behind. Of course most of it was under the cut sections of tree trunk that were left for me to haul to the back yard to give it time to season. But I would have liked them to rake up and remove the sawdust with the branches and other debris.
