The Fence Guy was very prompt and professional as far as the estimate went. He responded to my message within a few hours and came to the house to look at the fence. Around 10' of our cedar plank privacy fence had been knocked down by the windstorm last October, and further damage was sustained when a car came through the hole over the winter. The estimate only took ~20 minutes, and he left me his card so that I could discuss the estimate with my husband. The price seemed reasonable, although I'll admit I don't know much about pricing fence repair. He called the utilities himself to have them marked, and that was done within the next week. The only place where I graded him down was timeline: he estimated that he would get to our fence within 10 days, but in reality it took around 3 weeks. This was not a big problem, as we were not in a hurry and I do understand that the windstorm has kept fence repair businesses very busy this summer. The quality of the work was excellent. I would certainly do business with the Fence Guy again.

Arnold is the owner and he is all about finding out what you want and then figuring out the best way to get there in a way that fits your budget. When we started looking for fence contractors, we called 3 for estimates. Arnold was the only one to give me a price onsite the same day. One of the other two contractors emailed our estimate more than a month later and the third contractor didn't respond at all. It was easy in our case the choose Arnold and we are so glad we did. Given the SUPER BUSY summer work season, Arnold was responsive to and flexible with our many questions and inquires about different ideas and remained in good communication throughout the project. Once we decided on the project, it was complete within 2.5 days (not including a few days for posts to set/dry). 1 day = setting posts, 1.5 days = framing, building 5 custom gates, and stretching wire. Arnold and his crew (1 helper) worked quickly and carefully and were mindful to take care of the yard while doing what they need to do. I would highly recommend Arnold for any fencing project. You can tell right away he has been doing fences for a long time and his experience and expertise truly make him worthy to be called The Fence Guy. It doesn't hurt that Arnold is extremely down to earth and nice too. If you are thinking about a fence project, you won't regret calling The Fence Guy.

I called Arnold (The fence guy). He called me back the next day. We made an appt. He was unable to make the appt. I called back and we rescheduled. He came over and reviewed my fence and gave me an estimate. While I was at work, he dropped in and fixed the fence. This fence has blown down over 3X since I have lived here in less then 2 years. We get the high winds in December, last time it blew it off the hinges and slammed into the house. Arnold came, gave me an estimate, and stuck to the estimate. No hidden surprises, his work is exemplary and the fence is strong, steady and reliable. My wife reports that he would go to leave, stop, back up, take all the tools out and fix something that he did not like. This clearly an expert who loves his job. Highly recommended!

Arnold was great! We had two yards with two different fences that Arnold was able to tie together seamlessly. Out neighbors wanted a 4' picket fence and we wanted a 6' shadowbox fence. Arnold was able to connect these two fences in a way that makes them look consistent. We had 3 man-gates and one oversized gate installed, as well. Arnold was great rolling with some last minute changes we requested to add a scalloped top edge to the fence as well as copper post toppers to make the fence look more custom. He did a great job, and completed both fences in less than 2 days. Post were set on a Wednesday, fencing commenced on Saturday and was completed on Monday (rain delays). My husband and I, as well as our neighbors, are very pleased with the work done by and quot;The Fence Guyand quot; - and would recommend him to anyone looking for fencing in this area. Trustworthy, affordable, and professional. Can't get better than that! I wish I could post a picture of the fence he did - that is the only way to give a fair review, but, alas...

I was pleasantly surprised that the owner came the day after I called to give me an estimate. He scheduled the fence install once I decided I exactly what I wanted and I was on a tight schedule so he worked with me on getting the fence in asap. He came on the holiday and finished it off, just as he said he would. I couldn't be happier and the price was good too. It transformed my back yard from junk sheds in other people's yards to a beautiful private sided yard. They worked very fast, had all the slickest equipment and were done in just a few hours each time they came. They filled the old post holes with dirt and put all my gates back on so I was up and running again in no time. Arnold even brought a replacement closing post that has been broken forever and replaced it at no charge. Thanks! He answered the phone every time I called. GREAT company!

It was wonderful! I called on Monday afternoon (5/20/13) to ask for an estimate. They came out that night, looked at the area and gave us the estimate. I called them back on Tuesday to let them know that we wanted to go ahead with the fence, and had a couple of general questions. They let me know it would be a couple of weeks out as the ground was still frozen, and that once they started, it would be about a 4 day process (1 day to set the posts, a few days for the posts to get secure, and 1 day to install the actual fence). We were fine with the time frame as we just wanted it done this summer. On Wednesday, they called and asked if they could set the posts the next day (Thursday) as they were able to move up their timeline. Posts were set on Thursday and they said they would be back on Sunday to install the fence (they asked first if that would be ok). Of course our first thought that this was in the middle of long weekend! They indicated they were taking Monday off and that they wanted to get it done (how cool is that!). On Sunday morning they arrived a little after 9 and were finished about 2:30 (taking a short lunch break). We were amazed that 2 people could punch out a fence that quickly and with such great workmanship. They were professional and very courteous and cleaned up all of their mess when they were finished. We would definitely use them again if we needed anymore work done, and very happy that the entire process only took a week. Only comment is I wish they took credit cards (I believe that this is in process), as I would have loved to received the miles for it! Thank you to The Fence Guys for a wonderful job!

We called and had an estimate that very evening - we booked it right then. We were told they would be out in 7-10 days. They were there in 7 and my fence was done!!! They were extremely fast - it was amazing - put in my 4x4 posts on Friday and on Monday they were done before noon with the whole fence - it was fantastic. I love my new fence. I will recomend them to everyone!!
