Hugo and his crew did an awesome job! They were very professional and always on time. Hugo's expertise prevented me from making some mistakes when choosing the types of paint for the project. The quality of the work was exceptional! I would highly recommend Math-A services for anyone needed interior painters! Price was very competitive, and in the end I paid exactly what the estimate was for!

They were always on time, polite and friendly. Easy to work with and made sure I was happy with the work. I would hire them again and will recommend them to my friends.

I was worried that we would not be able to find a painter available to work on our house since we did not make up our minds to have the job done until July. I read the reviews on Angie's List and subsequently called three different companies. Hugo Mathey was prompt, courteous and gave us a very reasonable quote. He called first to let us know he was coming, arrived when he said he would and did a great job. Painting the decks was an extra job we asked him to do but our but our rainy late summer/fall weather delayed the work. We left town on a previously planned trip and Hugo called my husband's cell phone (we were in Washington state) to let us know the the decks were finished. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Hugo and his team from Math A Services are wonderful. They did exactly what we asked for and more, They are also very professional and punctual. We hired Math A to paint the exterior trim work and the deck rails on our home. I got in contact with them only after contacting two other contractors who told me that they were no longer taking bids for the summer even though it was only May. After contacting Hugo he told me he too was booked for the summer, but if I could wait 3 weeks he would do it for us. We waited and I'm glad I did, they were amazing. He helped me decide on a color, he has a very keen eye. I had 3 somewhat identical shades of Spanish Olive Green and Sage, and the one he choose (Spanish Olive) looks great on the house, we've gotten many compliments from the neighbors and friends. He returned every phone call and answered every question. I highly recommend these guys and will use them from now on for interior and exterior work. They are very very busy so if you decided on going with them you should call Hugo right away so he can work you in. Thanks a million Math A my house is gorgeous.

We were very pleased with the service we received. He was very helpful in helping us decide about colors. The job was completed in a timely manner and we felt the price was very reasonable for all we had done. The workers were very polite and considerate and the job was completed with care taken not to damage any of our furnishings, and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the final results - they did a beautiful job! We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

Hugo replied immediately when I requested a quote. He is very courteous and is always on time or calls if delayed. I was very impressed how quickly he got on the job and the care he and his crew took in the process. I was so happy with the quality of work and the fair price that I had him to some exterior touch up as well. He gave me a great rate plus the Angie's List discount. He never quibbled over any touch ups I asked for. In fact he caught and touched up much more than I ever noticed. Hugo inspects each job his crew does and makes sure it's done right. I cannot speak highly enough about Hugo or the results of his paint crew. After the paining was complete and barely dry, I got an offer to purchase my house. It was the face lift it desperately needed.

I was so impressed with Hugo's responsiveness and demeanor during the painting of the interior of my home I asked him to touch up the exterior as well. He explained the OSB lap on the front as well as the north wall had weathered so well he didn't recommend paining the entire house but rather the more weathered south and east walls which endure the brunt of our wind driven rains. This suggestion just saved me a lot of money! First he had it pressure washed then his crew sanded down the wood prior to paining. The previous painter pressure washed but that's it. I thought the job his crew did was great but to my surprise Hugo carefully inspected the job and commanded several touch ups that to be honest, I would have never noticed. The next time I need painting, I definitely will be contacting Math A painters.

Great! Hugo has a very good crew and he makes sure everything runs smoothly and is done well. Hugo was very reliable ( unlike other painters that I solicitated bids from). Work was nicely done!

I left a message to set up a time for an estimate and got a return call that day and an estimate appointment the next day. The painting was done the next week and the work was done quickly and well. The workers were polite and efficient, careful of the plants and surroundings and very neat and careful in their work. I would use Math-A Services again for future painting projects.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work performed. Hugo provided a fair estimate of the work beforehand and followed up with very good work. He was there when he said he was going to be and done when he said he would be. The quality of the work was very good. They created very clear cut lines between the trim and house siding and did so consistently. Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the work. There was one area that I thought they would paint but they didn't as a result of a misunderstanding and when I pointed out this small area Hugo returned the next morning and completed this small area with no additional charge which indicated to me that he was willing to please the customer above all else. Hats off to Hugo. I would recommend his services to other people who want an honest person to deal with that will do very good quality work.

Hugo did an excellent job. He was punctual and very professional. He also helped me with paint choices. I remodeled my bathrooms and Hugo even removed the old vanities and broke them down for disposal. He is also very trustworthy- I trusted him in my condo when I was not home. My contractor was very impressed with Hugo's work and he asked for Hugo's name and number to possibly use him on some projects. I will be using Hugo in the future for some small projects that I have.

I can't recommend Hugo highly enough. He's incredibly knowledgeable and conscientious, and his team did a fantastic job. They were clearly very respectful of our house, working around concurrent home improvement projects without a single disturbance, and they worked quickly. The price included all paint and supplies. In retrospect, if we'd realized just how great the service was going to be, we probably would have decided to have him do our whole house instead of just one floor. Hugo was especially helpful when it came to picking colors; he had great suggestions about how certain paints would look, about which walls to accent, and about where to use various finishes. Our house looks incredible. We will absolutely hire him next time we need any painting done.

Hugo was responsive, pleasant and professional. He has an excellent crew, although slight language barrier. Job was well done. Better experience than previous painters I have used. I highly recommend.

The painting went very well. Hugo said it take three to four days for his crew to finish--it took four. His crew was here on time every day and took extra care not to damage any items in the house--including art and antiques. Once his crew had finished painting Hugo himself comes in for an inspection and does all the final detail work. As he says he is sometimes more picky than his clients--I would have to agree.

We have just had the pleasure of working with Hugo Mathey of Math-A Services, and his crew. They did sheetrock repair, texturing, and interior painting in our home. In all cases, Hugo and his crew were friendly, obviously very capable, prompt, and provided great services. We would, and almost certainly will, have them back as the renovation progresses.

We hired a painter as we did not want to do the tall ceilings ourselves, plus we had a large crack at the top of 1 wall/ceiling area above the stairway, which we did not know how to repair, nor did we care to learn how. Hugo provided a very competitive bid and we chose him out of 3 bids as he had the most good ratings on Angie's List, and we felt comfortable with him. Hugo and his 2 employees were very professional and conscientous of protecting our belongings as they moved from room to room. They arrived on the stated time and worked the entire time they were at the house. Hugo, the owner, was very helpful in helping me decide on the wall color that would coordinate with the accent wall color (I had already purchased the accent color and was having a hard time deciding on a coordinating color). He was very patient and gave me his opinion, but told me it was my decision as he wanted me to be happy with the final color. I was not sure of a color as I thought it would be too dark in our dimly lit hallway. He said it would look lighter once on the entire wall. I trusted his opinion and am very happy with the color. It works fine in that hallway. Originally we did not have the pantry and bedroom in the bid, but he was willing to add these 2 rooms. This added 1 more day to the project, but Hugh and crew were very accommodating. Hugo was very responsive in returning to do touchups, that are inevitable in any paint job. Plus, we had all forgot about the little bit of wall under a built in desk. He quickly returned to do this small wall. This was a very positive experience and I'd definitely hire Hugo again.

They were efficient, careful, clean and the paint job itself was excellent. They show up on time, are helpful with the selection of paints and colors, are careful to cover everything with drop cloths, and leave a perfect finish on your painted surfaces. Next time we need a professional painter Hugo will be the first person we call.

Did a good job. Was there when he said he would, fair in price,cleaned up and put things back up.

Hugo gave us an estimate and stuck to it. He even did some other things for free as well as clean up some of the work that the other contractors on our remodel screwed. For example when the contractor for the stairs put a hole in the wall Hugo came in after he was already done painting and filled it in with some putty and painted over it for free. He worked with our schedule which was crazy and was extremely friendly. Some people say his English is broken or something but in my opinion he speaks extremely good English. The guy went above and beyond and was a pleasure to be around. If I or any of my friends have any other painting jobs I would highly recommend him. He was the best person we worked with on our over 15,000 dollar home remodel job. I cant say enough good things about Hugo and Math-A Services.

Hugo is nice and easy to work with he did an excellent job for me. He showed up when he said he would gave a great and fair estimate and stuck to it, the experience overall was great. The job was started on time and finished on time and was a pleasure to work with. The work was excellent everything was better than i could have hoped for. I would use him again for any other job i have and would recommend him to anyone.

Hugo Was very up front with his quote and didn't deviate from it. We were so happy with his work we had him do more than we originally planned. He was on time every day, worked all day and cleaned up each day. The house was empty so it was a lot easier for him. We will be having him come back to do more work and the outside this summer. His English is a little broken but he is very professional.

Overall was an excellent experience. He was 1 of 5 estimates i got for this project and i'm glad i went with him. He was professional and stayed in touch every day. He cleaned up after the project was complete. I will contact him for future projects.
