Description of Work: I had them out to look at our furnace that wasn't working and instead of doing a real inspection they poked around, did a CO2 test, then condemned and recommended replacement of entire system. He made a very good case, was very friendly, and I almost fell for it. Fortunately I have a friend in the business, and had him come over-- all that was wrong was that it needed a good cleaning, and a new circuit board. Total bill? $215.00 for board and cleaning and it's working like a champ!!! He saved me over $5000- that's FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS of hard earned money that Klebs wanted me to spend on a new furnace. I just joined Angie's List and am reposting this review, and the "condemned" furnace has been running great now for almost 2 years. So you can understand I'm still a little mad they almost took me for 5k. Anyways, you can imagine I was pretty angry!!! I have learned that a lot of places here in Anchorage try to get people to replace the furnace instead of repairing it. Even a bottom of the line furnace (like mine) should last at least 30 years. Make sure to educate yourself before making any decisions and don't believe what they tell you if they say it's not fixable, and always get a 2nd AND 3rd opinion. Now to be fair, a good friend of ours had Klebs install a brand new furnace and they were happy with their experience, I just don't recommend them for repair work. Criminals. Best of luck!

+ 0 moreThey are very good. We have them come out twice a year to check the boiler. They charge us $125.00 for the check-up. They had installed a new heating system 3 or 4 years ago.
Description of Work: Klebs Heating Plumbing & Air Quality came out in November to check our boiler. They may also do plumbing.

+ 0 moreWorkers showed up on time and got the entire job done in one day. They removed the old system and did a good job of cleaning everything up at the end. There were no problems with the MOA inspection a few days later. We did notice a few drips from one of the fittings, but it was only a tightening issue, and Klebs promptly took care of it. We have used Klebs to do the yearly inspection for the past 8 years, but had never used them for anything major like this. We were impressed with their work and purchased a 10-year service contract on the boiler from them.
Description of Work: Replacement of old boiler and hot water heaters with new boiler and attached indirect hot water heater. Also, modification of vent system, application for MOA permit, and removal of old system.

+ -1 moreVendor took over a month to complete and in the meantime caused considerable damage to unit such as using the counter-top as a saw horse to cut wood almost cutting the counter-top in half.
Description of Work: Had our condominium converted from baseboard electric heat to baseboard water circulation gas heat.
