Frontier Garage Door

I've used this guy before and will continue to use him in the future. Service is fast friendly and repairs are lasting. He repaired my 20 year old automatic garage door opener. He's very friendly, practical, and doesn't sell services that aren't needed.

We called him on Saturday morning, early. He returned our call by 9:30 am and arranged to come out to work on the door between 11 and 2 p.m. He called before he arrived - about 1:15 and got the job one in about an hour. Well done!

I called Steve up just before 8am expecting to leave a message for future service and he got my garage door working before 1030 same day. Awesome service!

My wife called Steve on Monday morning and he came over that morning and gave a fantastic quote as I was expecting to pay more. Steve was very professional in his evaluation. He made an appointment for the following day and could not show up at the agreed time do to complications from a current job he was doing but came at the agreed upon time later in the day. The job took about two hours due to adjustments that needed to be made. I am impressed with the work that was performed and the upgraded R value of the door.

Very fast and they did a good job. Price was reasonable too.

Steve has done work for me in the past and as always did a wonderful job. He is timely, professional and does excellent work. The quality of his products and work are top notch. He goes above and beyond to make everything look and function very well. I will continue to call him for all my garage door needs.

Frontier turned a noisy, malfunctioning garage door into a quiet, perfectly operating garage door. Frontier tackled numerous problems with my garage door and solved them. Frontier did everything from securing the fixture to the ceiling (it was coming loose) to putting rubber along the garage door bottom to keep out the cold (and mice) despite uneven concrete surface. Frontier was quick, honest, straight-forward and competent -- everything you'd want in a company. Even more amazing, I told Frontier that I decided to choose their service based on Angie's List reviews. Frontier had not even read the reviews and was somewhat aloof from the Internet culture of recommendations. None of that mattered when it came to doing the job. Frontier simply did a great job. Period.

saw Frontier's truck in my neighborhood, and called for an estimate; everything (phone contact, scheduling the estimate, scheduling the work, installation) went perfectly. I highly recommend.

It went amazingly well. He was polite, punctual and very professional. He had a great knowledge of exactly what to do!

Steve recommended I purchase the parts at the local hardware store for a discount which I did. Hit a snarfu with the parts, but Steve kept at it until it worked. I felt he did a very good job and although it took longer than usual he did not charge me more.

I don't know if his service is cheap or not, because it's the first time I've hired a garage door repair service. The guy came here early, and he's very good.

Contacted Frontier Garage Door and they said they would be there the next day. They came and fixed the door before I was home from work at 5:30 pm. I didn't ever meat the provider as it was set up by phone and my 18 year old son let him in the garage. He did what we wish all contractors/service people would do: He picked up the phone when calling him He came to fix the problem in a timely manner He was done with the problem quickly The problem is now resolved and has not been a problem since. Having dealt with a lot of contractors recently it was a relief to have someone be available for contact, do what they said they would and correct the problem.

Steve was very professional, very prompt and really knew his stuff. I would recommend him for any and all garage door issue that may arise! He was GREAT!!! He was on time and came the morning after I called him ON SUNDAY! I was very pleased!

Steve was awesome! Had parts in vehicle to do what needed to be done to get garage door back on track...literally! Highly recommend and will use again...if needed.

I called Frontier Garage on a Monday morning (talked to Steve) to find out how much it would cost and how soon he could replace the broken spring/coil on our garage door. I explained that the coil/spring was not visible and it looked like it was encased in this metal tubing. He knew exactly what I was talking about and told me that it needed to be converted to a torsion system. He had the necessary parts and could get it fixed that afternoon. He arrived a bit earlier than the agreed appointment time which worked out great.

The provider installed a brand new garage door and a new garage door opener (I purchased). He put the key pad in and showed me how to use the system. It was the coldest part of the winter, but he was "MORE" than willing to put in on that day...even though it was below zero temperatures. He was quick in response to install the door, and very professional. I would use him again!

Installed garage door and new motor. Very helpful and courteous. Helped me save money on motor by recommending I get it myself at Home Depot. Came over right away to make an adjustment a few days after installation. Highly recommended.

Was referred to Frontier Garage Door by a coworker who was impressed with the service delivery. I called and spoke to Steve who got me an appointment when it was convenient for me (early morning). He was prompt on the day of the appointment. Took my list of complaints and issues and went at it. The thing I liked the most was that he didn't gouge me by doing things that I thought needed to be done and he did do things that I didn't know needed to be done. The outcome: I now have a much quieter garage door that is without gaps and therefore, my garage is warmer. All for about an hour of my time and just $90. Thanks Frontier Garage Door! I will definitely call again if needed and I will certainly give excellent referrals.

I really liked the individual that came out to fix our springs that had broken completely in half. He was very informative and knew what he was doing and had the experience to back up his word. He had all the materials and parts with him in his truck, so he came prepared. I was just expecting him to come out and do an estimate and set a date to come back and fix the spring, but he was ready to go right then and there. He quoted us a price for the one spring, $150 I believe, but said he would do both for $218. He mentioned that he would only fix the one if we wanted, but that in his experience the other spring almost always breaks after a new one is replaced. We respected his honesty and his opinion and took his advice, and we didn't feel like he was giving us a line or trying to increase the amount he made. In fact, both springs were old and we decided that it would be best to replace them both. He finished hi work very quickly, I believe he was done in about an hour. He even replaced a few brackets on the door that he felt were a little bent due to the weight of the door after the spring broke and he didn't charge any extra amount for doing it. Our garage door is working excellent now. We have a new opener, a Chamberlin Whisper with a belt drive which is meant to be quieter than chain openers, and our door is even quieter than it was. It is also able to be opened without the opener by one person, which is nice because when the power went out last fall we were out of electricity for four days and with that broken spring it took two people to open the garage door. It is nice to know that if that ever happened again my wife would be able to open the door by herself, if needed. We kept this gentleman card and will be calling him again if we ever need any further services for our garage door. I will, and have, already recommended him to friends and family. Great prices and great service.

I had a broken spring and called Frontier after searching Angie's list for companies. We worked out a time (I was leaving town in a couple of days so was needing the work done before I left). He showed up on time and I asked to have both springs replaced. He was experienced and had no problems doing the repairs. I enjoyed visiting and would definitely recommend the company.

Our garage door spring broke this morning, leaving my truck stuck in the garage. Called Frontier at 7:30 AM expecting an answering machine, but the call was answered by a person. They scheduled replacement of the spring for the same morning, and arrived around 9:00 after phoning to let us know they were on the way. Repair was quick, efficient, and correctly done. They adjusted the door and door opener while they were at it. Just good, professional, friendly service for a competitive price.

Weel done! Easy to set up an appointment. Had to re-schedule and he was easy to accomodate. Completed all the work - no problems w/ the quality at all!

Called and asked that he come over on Wednesday. He siad he would come over Wednesday afternoon and would call me 15 minutes before arriving. He did and was waiting for me when I arrived. I told him I had a broken spring and a broken cable. He looked at it and said there was nothing wrong with the cable -- only the spring (which was obviously broken). He could have sold me more work (replacing the cable). Also he could have recommended I have the other garage door "tuned" as I have seen some repairers recommend. He just did was was needed at a good price and very efficiently. Highly recommend.
