Steve spent quite a bit of time diagnosing and repairing the opener. He lent me a working unit while we waited for parts, saved me a lot of trouble messing around with having to lift a very heavy door. Very professional, friendly and prompt.

Frontier was very responsive. They were busy, but still came right away, made temporary repairs, then came back when time permitted and finished up. Very professional and thorough!

One side of the laser safety apparatus was in askew, as though someone had dropped something heavy or stomped on it. The garage door openers wouldn't close the door. The repairman told me on the phone that I could fix the problem myself, but I had already tried and was afraid to force it for fear of breaking something. So he drove over and twisted the thing off and put it back on in about 15 seconds--and it worked, which I found amazing because I thought it would be hard to line up the laser so that it would hit the right spot on rather other side. He commented laughingly that "stupid is expensive." I told him to get busy and earn his $90. He spent a few minutes greasing the skids around the door and tightening bolts before I paid him and he left. The mediocre grade for professionalism is about verbal micro aggressions, e.g. "stupid is expensive."

Steve did a great job: courteous, professional and timely. He even called me to ask if it would be ok if he was 5 minutes late! Most people don't bother anymore. I would recommend him to anyone.

After consulting Angie's List reviews, contacted Steve by phone in the a.m. He anticipated being busy, but agreed to stop by in a couple of days. As it turned out, he became available the day of my initial call and contacted me to see if he could come over. He arrived within 15 mins of the call. He went to work immediately and quickly found my problem (a bad circuit board). He had a replacement part with him and resolved the issue in record time. In add'n, he fully serviced the unit including lubricating, adjusting chain tension and fine tuning the motor force for up and down operation. Beyond Steve's competence and quick service, his price was more than reasonable for the services rendered.

On time for estimate & installation. Had a brochure to choose from. Knows what he is doing. Did a very nice job. Good price with installation. Really nice person too.

Steve showed up right on time, like he quoted. He is a complete one-man show. Between his truck and his 30+ years of installing garage doors, he has figured out exactly how to safely and quickly install garage doors by himself! He has all sorts of "tricks" to lift, place, adjust and maneuver that enable him to do this safely. So don't worry about him needing help. He was gracious enough to let me "help". And I don't think I was too much of a nuisance. It is best to have a square area equal to the width and length of the garage door clear of garage "junk". There is just no getting around the fact you are removing and replacing a very wide and tall piece of building material. It's not a tub. It's an entire 17 foot by 7 foot project! He quickly removed all the old garage door and related materials. When he installed the new door, he even replaced pieces that I would have reused. He said he wanted to ensure that the door, and everything associated with it, lasted a lifetime. As he finished up, he wiped clean all the door surfaces (he had used gloves at one point to ensure there was no paint damage) and placed all the required safety and informational stickers.

Called Steve on Wednesday afternoon, he was able to schedule us for a Thursday morning repair. In addition to the spring replacement and upon inspection of the door, he found that one cable was badly frayed. We opted to have both cables replaced. All work was completed professionally in about an hour. Great value, great service, will definitely use him again for any garage door repairs / service.

Work went as expected, it took Steve about 3 hours as he had estimated, and he asked questions when he needed to before proceeding with certain parts of the job (ie if/where to place door handles, etc.) He was very friendly and didn't mind any questions I had. The door looks great and my unheated garage is about 20 degrees warmer during this latest cold spell than it would have been previously.

Frontier always does a great job. Very fast, responsive, takes the time to explain the problem and give you options so you can make the best choice for your budget. I highly recommend.

Steve was very knowledgeable and professional. When I initially called him for the service, he was able to tell me what product would work best for me in advance so that I could have it ready for the installation. He showed up on time and did a great job on the belt drive replacement. He took his time and made sure the door was functioning properly and showed me how to operate the controls. Would highly recommend Frontier.

The old door looked terrible, had a poor insulation rating, and was falling apart. Steve did an excellent job helping me select a new door, ordering it, and installing the door. I have used his services 3 times now. He is always on time and on budget.

I love that guy. The cost was really quite cheap. The guy was knowledgeable, it is a single individual, and he is the provider and he is the company. He is knowledgeable about his business. He is efficiently able to diagnose what is wrong. They were totally well oriented. He was very personable, he stands behind his work, and he had a lot of things that were going on, and he came right out. He was very punctual. I would recommend him to anybody.

It went great. Called him in the AM. He told me he had a job and from what they told him he'd see me in the late afternoon. Their job became much bigger than they told him. He called and I told him to come over even though it was a late day for him... about 7 PM We talked price and he got the job done professionally and very friendly. One of my double car garage door springs broke and the opener wouldn't lift the door all the wayup. Works great now.

I have used them before for minor repairs of my garage. They were prompt and anybody that came out were very courteous and they made me feel comfortable that they were professionals. They did a really good job. They plastered all the stickers and I haven't had any issues at all and when I call they come back right back and take care of it.

Arrived early and explained everything and the many different options we have. Even the differences and uses of garage doors. We got exactly what we ordered and he even replaced a piece that came damaged from the warehouse. Excellent work.

I needed a new door mechanism with modern safety features. I have no tools and no interest in owning any so called Frontier to do the job beginning to end. Perfect work a day after first contact, and it took less than a couple of hours. I will certainly recommend Frontier.
