+ -1 moreVictor, who owns the company and his son were on time and a pleasure to deal with. They came in and did a run through of the areas to be cleaned. Along with asking questions about problem areas, Victor went over the carpet with a blacklight to show me areas that had pet stains. He was friendly and polite and an extremely hard worker. I have some stains that I know are permanent but he still put in some intense labor to try and remove them for me. Not only were they very thorough but they explained the process well. I really appreciated them going above and beyond. They were done cleaning in 2 hours, fast and efficient. Victor let me know if any dirt surfaced after they left, which can sometimes happen with deep cleaning, to contact them and they would come back out. I will definitely being using this business again.

+ -1 moreOverall, the whole procedure went very well. The owner and his assistant were pleasant and very accommodating. I particularly like the fact that the owner is involved directly in their business. Finally, when setting up the appointment to have the carpets cleaned, I had to change the date several times as the renovating work being done on the unit took longer than I anticipated. Every time I emailed 'Victor' to say I needed more time, he got back to me immediately and said to just let him know when I was ready and we'd set a new time. All he asked was that he needed 7 days notice.
Description of Work: Best Deal deep steam cleaned a large penthouse apartment carpeted with a high quality berber carpet. They arrived promptly on time and set up in an efficient manner to the unit on the third floor. I liked the fact that they don't have to hook up to your waterline, everything is contained in their van. They used protected plastic corners and did a thorough, systematic cleaning of carpets throughout and 16 carpeted stair-steps. A protective spray was applied afterwards to trafficked areas which costs extra.Immediately after one area was cleaned, they set up a heavy-duty fan for air circulation.

+ -1 moreDid a great job and they were professional. Cleaned 6 rooms on 2 floors and the joining stairs and did an outstanding job. My only surprise was that when I called, Angie's List was not mentioned during the call or at any time until it was time to pay. When I handed them the "Angie's List 25% off coupon", he said that the discount had already been applied and that I could check their website "bestdealak.com" to check their normal prices. However, I am still glad that they were the ones I hired to do the job and will hire them again when it becomes time to again have my carpet cleaned. In total they spent about 2 hours and 15 minutes cleaning the carpet and it was nearly dry before they left. That was a pleasant surprise.

Description of Work: They were a bit early and I appreciate that :) and wore booties as to not further dirty my carpet :) They were done in 1 1/2 hrs and did 3 rooms, 2 hallways and stairs. They even moved some furniture that I didnt think they were going to so that was a happy surprise! :) My carpets look amazing and I will definately use them again. Very courteous, prompt and fast :)

+ -1 moreWhen I called to schedule a cleaning the quote was reasonable and the appointment was just a few days away. Victor and his assistant arrived on time, set up quickly and went right to work. They were conscientious about protecting furniture and uncarpeted floors and still this was the fasted and most thorough cleaning I've had in more than 25 years of carpet cleanings. The traffic area through the great room was heavily soiled and Victor went over it three times to get it completely clean. Also, the water was so thoroughly extracted that the carpets dried much faster than I was accustomed to. And, surprisingly, I was charged no more than the original quote, despite the extra effort in the great room. I insisted on paying a bit extra and will definitely call Best Deal Steam Carpet Cleaning any time I need carpet cleaning. They were personable and professional while providing quick, excellent results at a fair price.

He came earlier than the appointment time, which was fine with me. He did everything, left the carpets spotless, and there were no surprises. He was excellent.

+ -1 moreMy carpet was really quite dirty and it came out very nice; much better than I had expected. I have never had anybody come in and clean my carpet and bring drying fans with them. One thing that I did like about them was he had these huge drying fans that he used right after he cleaned and then would go to the next room. What he said was if you let the carpet dry slowly then the stains from below will come up the carpet fiber and that you will get your stain up. The trick is to dry it as fast as you can on the surface. That is why he brought the fans. I thought that was really interesting. I have never seen anybody do that before. He gave me a discount because I got them off of Angie’s List. I am not sure that they are the best priced but that doesn’t really matter if it comes out better.

+ -1 moreHis prices are reasonable. He is very good at his work. He leaves the carpet extra clean, and the cat hair is picked up. He actually does hand cleaning around the edges from the carpet to the wall. He cleaned under the bed, and all around. I have two cats and all the hair is REMOVED! I will be calling him very soon because my carpet is needing help. I have used Angie's List looking for several things. The people I found were either too busy, or wasn't something I could use.

+ -1 moreThe first time they steam cleaned the carpets the filter was not working properly so the water was not extracted as it should have been. The owner apologized and re-scheduled me for the very next evening. The second time everything went perfect. Matt did an excellent job, apologized several more times and he was fast but efficient. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Even without the Groupon discount their prices are good. They did an excellent job in my home.
Description of Work: I bought a groupon for this company on Thursday, called first and was able to schedule the cleaning for the very next afternoon. Matt arrived on time and did an good job cleaning the carpets. It was extremely cold that day and the carpet didn't seem to dry as fast as he said it would. After 2 days of damp carpet I called the owner on new Years Day and he answered my call, apologized for the damp carpet and said they did discover the filters on the truck were not working properly and that they would be out the next day to re-do the carpets. It was scheduled for 5:30 the next evening, but Matt called at 4 saying he was ahead of schedule and would it be ok to come over. He re-shampooed the whole carpet area and it was almost dry by the time he left. They used several big fans through out the house to speed up the drying process. This time the carpets look much better and he was able to remove all the stains on both the stairs and the living room area. Very satisfied customer!!

+ -1 moreIn my estimation and based on past experience, the entire process couldn't have been better from beginning to end, especially the discounted cost and prompt, polite and very professional service.
Description of Work: The proprietor, Victor is an extremely pleasant, polite, professional and accommodating person to do business with, as are his son and other assistant, Matthew. Victor patiently listened to my explanation that I had a very old carpet in the lower level of my house which needed the most thorough cleaning possible ASAP in preparation for a new renter. He easily scheduled a prompt appointment, arrived on time (with 1/2 hour prior notice and showed my just how badly the carpet had been soiled by my previous tenant who had, unknowingly to me, allowed her dog to stay down stairs. His inspection with a blacklight showed significant urine contamination though there was only moderate amount of oder. He very clearly explained what would need to be done to the two rooms and actually gave me a discount in addition to a guarantee that if the initial cleaning did not resolve the problem, he would return and make sure the steam cleaning job was done to my satisfaction at no additional cost. As a significant stain did reappear in one room after the initial cleaning, he graciously scheduled a return appointment and his assistant, Matthew arrived on time and took care of the problem to my complete satisfaction. The first cleaning took less than 2 hours to complete and just over a day to dry. The second cleaning took about 1/2 hour and was dry within 1 day. True to his word, there was no extra charge. I have only the highest regard for Best Deal Steam Carpet Cleaning, Victor and his staff and gladly recommend that they be the first choice for any steam carpet cleaning needs as they will be for mine.

+ 0 moreThese guys are great. I heard of them through angies list and called up and scheduled based on the user reviews. I had them come out when I was not home (always a little sketchy) but they came and cleaned and did a fabulous job! I had a large oil stain on my couch and when I came home it was gone, which impressed me big time. The stain came back (slightly) and they came out and recleaned the affected area again at no charge. I had no furniture so it was a 30% discount, totaling $300 bucks for about 1000 sq ft of carpet and a couch. I was extremely satisfied and will use them again for all my carpet and upholstery cleaning needs!

When he arrived I showed him which carpets were to be cleaned and I expressed my concern about getting rid of the pet urine smell. He told me what to expet from the cleaning. He got to work and it seemed to go quickly, but complete.

+ -1 moreIt's always good to find professional people enjoying their line of work. I booked with Vincent on short notice and he gladly accommodated me in their sched. Matthew called me before the appointment to let me know that he is running 15 minutes behind. Matthew is very efficient and took the time to explain what he will be doing and how to care for the carpet after the cleaning is done. It tool 3.5 hours to clean the whole house and I could see the difference after he was done. He offered to come back for spots that might have been missed particularly in the basement since the lighting down there was not great and it was starting to get dark. I might take their offer on that. Overall, these guys are very professional and take pride in what they do. I also think they charge a fair price for the quality of their work. I will definitely recommend to friends.
Description of Work: I bought a house and wanted the carpets cleaned before delivery of my furniture the next day. The previous owner had a cat and there were sporadic stains around the carpet in the basement. They gave me a 30% discount since there were no furniture in the house to move or lift. Had the whole carpet steamed cleaned which covered a living room, a full basement, stairs, and the whole upstairs that had (3) bedrooms.
