Brian and the entire crew with Environmental Design are top notch, second to none. Years back, we hired Brian and Team to complete a major front-yard project. It went so well, we didn't think twice about hiring Environmental Design again. Our first and only call was to Brian! Brian, due to his background and expertise at what he does, makes the process "enjoyable" and "care-free". Brian starts a project when he says he will and completes the project right on time. His estimating, layout and project planning and execution skills are excellent. Brian is also a very, very, very nice person to work with at all times. Same with his Team. No surprise they've been together for a long time. While placing boulders, the team is expert and very precise. They performed that task for both the front and back yard projects. They care for your existing yard, by placing plywood down while entering and exiting the property. They clean the site daily, to ensure you're well taken care of at all times. Meaning... we specialize in ONLY the Concrete Driveway:) We have created and then fulfill for every customer a proven process; the replacement of an existing driveway (or just concreting over an existing gravel driveway) Cornerstone's Proven Process: We have four crews, each specializing and performing their specific task in the "assembly line" process. Tear out crew: With a Bobcat and dump truck will tear out the existing asphalt or concrete driveway and disposes of the material at a local re-cycling station. Set-up crew: Sets up forms, grades and compacts subsoil and ties the rebar grid together. Pouring crew: Meets our local ready mix concrete truck(s) at the site and places the fresh concrete within the forms in a professional manner. Cutting Crew: Removes forms, lays out and cuts expansion cuts and cleans up. ALL aspects of Cornerstone's process is performed with a labor force on our payroll and NOT sub-contracted. "Cornerstone Concrete did a great job with my new driveway. They were very accommodating with my schedule, and were able to give me a quote and squeeze me in before the end of the year. They were also very flexible in allowing me to install some under-driveway drainage for my downspouts while they were working. There was some minor cosmetic damage that occurred during the installation, but they were quick and fair in rectifying the issue. The driveway itself looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again."

"I can’t say enough about the level of professionalism, communication and quality of the work done by Debbie and her teams. We had at any point between one or two teams led by Alex working on our corner property project. They replaced a failing railroad tie retaining wall that covered three sides of our property, which reached 5’ in height in some areas. This required architectural considerations which Debbie handled perfectly. We looked at retaining wall bricks in person at a few different places, and also looked at stair replacements. We communicated with Debbie we wanted the wall even (so it doesn’t look wavy), as we’ve seen some uneven retaining walls walking around. They were paid a lot of attention to detail, and avoided it looking wavy, and made sure we had input all the way through the build. Additionally, they expanded our driveway to allow another car to park, fixed water creeping into my neighbors garage by fixing the grade and redirecting water away from property lines, and replaced our pitted stamped concrete path going up to our house with beautiful herringbone patterned bricks. Debbie also coordinated multiple contractors to manage in ground sprinkler modifications, ULV lighting additions, and replacing my old fence. They were very respectful of our property, and all the plants/gardens they worked around. Their work is top notch, and I would change nothing about my experience, it was exactly what we wanted. I’d use their services again without a doubt!"

"We chose Hage to replace our concrete steps because we thought they would be a trustworthy company. Mike Hage told us he wasn‘t sure they would get to our project before winter but we could put a 10% deposit down ($595) to hold the price for next year. In retrospect, that should have been a red flag because every other contractor we talked to wouldn’t take any money until they showed up to do the job. We ended up changing our plans before Hage even scheduled our project— still telling us they might not get to it until next year. We asked for our deposit back and he said no, essentially because in a document they sent us (but not the contract we signed) it stated that deposits are nonrefundable. We asked if he would please consider a partial refund, as I can understand the time it took to give us the estimate (even though those are free). He replied saying that our $595 deposit doesn’t even begin to cover the work their office does “printing photos, making job packets, and purchasing the permit.” I asked if any of that work had even been done considering our job wasn’t even going to be done until next year. He replied saying, “I am your salesman not the owner or your scapegoat. Please direct any further inquiries to the office directly as I have no knowledge of what has or has not been done-which makes no difference anyway.” Shocked by this rude and inconsiderate response. No accountability from Mike Hage of Hage Concrete. Hope this review prevents someone else from getting swindled."
