Fence Specialists
The fence looks wonderful but there were a few hiccups along the way. All had to do with communication. Had initially emailed request for an estimate but web site was down and after several days called them instead. Written estimate was late getting to me. Utility company was not called in time to mark for hazards so job was postponed 2 days. Crew was not aware of easement on my property and had to move the supports. Delays were all explained and/or corrected ASAP. Everyone was polite and professional. Yard was cleaned up well after they were done. Crew finished on time even with the delay and a thunder storm. They were quiet. Estimate was over $2000 less than other companies because Melissa took the time to measure exactly what I wanted rather than base the estimate on my plot plan. That alone made any problems easy to cope with. The final product was well worth it!!! I don't work a traditional schedule and they were willing to work around it. Would use them again

Yoders Vinyl Fencing

Fence Specialists
The estimate took about a week to get. We were told approximately how much it would be before we got it so we weren't surprised at the cost. The company kept in touch when there was a change of one day for the date they would start. The man who came and did the installation was simply amazing. It was extremely hot and he worked from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for three days. He had a different helper each day but they seemed to have a lot less energy than the main worker. He was like the energizer bunny, working so diligently all day. Some parts were not available at the time of the initial installation but they wanted to get it up so we could get our dogs exercised which we appreciated. As soon as the parts came in, the same man came on a Sunday to install them. I was very impressed with his work ethic. Although the cost of a vinyl fence this large is pretty staggering we were very happy with the company and the work

Trudeau's installed a beautiful high quality picket vinyl fence for me at me new home. I moved to a new home and was very particular about my install date. My salesman worked very hard to ensure my date was met. He went over and above in meeting me for signings and ensure the permit was received for quick turnaround. The installation was smooth and the team was extremely professional. Trudeau's was very responsive to communication throughout the process. I had several changes with fence sizing and gates and Trudeau's adapted to meet my changes quickly and ensure I was still able to install on my needed date. My fence turned out beautiful! It is definitely the prettiest fence in the neighborhood. I've already had several people stop me to comment on how nice it looks and ask details. I would definitely recommend Trudeau's for your next fencing project

I simply called for an estimate and the young lady (I use it cautiously) tried to talk me out of scheduling due to the cost. Not knowing my budget or anything that is not how you do business. I asked for management and she told me I could not speak to her like that. I can ask for management any time I’d like. Literally that’s what I asked for. How is your representative trying not to book customers? This company was also on Angi’s list. I will be making a call to them as well. I never knew requesting an estimate that is said to be “free” was that big of a deal

We got bids from 4 different fencing installers, and we chose to go with Outdoor FX. We felt the quality of their materials were extremely high. We loved working with Lucas Griener, who bid the job and oversaw the installation. He was always professional and returned our messages promptly. The crew that actually installed the fence turned out to be a subcontractor. They were also terrific to work with. Our only concern was that the subcontractor began to struggle with punctuality at the end of the project. They promised to arrive on a certain day to finish the job, and they didn't show up. They also didn't return phone calls for several days. When I called Lucas to explain the situation, he promptly called the subcontractor and arranged for them to come finish the job. While we weren't thrilled with the subcontractor's punctuality and communication at the end of the job, we were very happy with the way Lucas handled the situation. In all, we are happy with the way the project went. Our fence is gorgeous, and Outdoor FX did a terrific job with it. We have gotten so many compliments on the fence

Lowe's selected them to install the vinyl fence we purchased. There were numerous problems, including installing a clearly broken fence post (which had to be torn out and replaced) and a damaged gutter downspout (which they denied at first). Also, they left a huge mess and did not attempt even a token clean-up effort, leaving it for me; then they failed to show up when promised to install the gate latches. Worst of all, they either pulled or buried in concrete the lot line pins, which created an issue when there was a subsequent property line dispute. When contacted, they refused to do anything about it, telling me I had to contact my surveyors to come back out again (at my expense) and pay them a second time to mark the pins

We had a wood fence which needed to be replaced. We never thought of having a vinyl fence until their salesman, Bob Conway, suggested we might want to consider vinyl since it is maintenance free. We are extremely pleased with how the fence looks. Had it not been for Bob we would have still had wood. Bob was very professional and we enjoyed working with him. The employees who installed the fence did a great job. They did the work in one day which included removing the old fence. They were also very professional

We had a small job and Ace was the only company that treated us like wanted customers. They came out and gave a fair estimate. Ace walked us through the entire process multiple times and called to check up with us once the job was finished. What really impressed us was how they listened to our needs. The previous owner put up cheap vinyl fencing and instead of trying to get us the more expensive vinyl, they went out of their way to purchase the same fencing and posts so it would match. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again

I had originally obtained a quote from Fence Specialists last year, but had decided to postpone work. At the original appointment, Brent came out to draw up the estimate. He was very friendly and helpful as my wife and I made our decisions about the type of fence we wanted. Earlier this year, I called Fence Specialists and asked if the quote was still good. Aside from a *slight* increase, the quote was still honored. We had to play phone tag a bit before getting everything lined up. Once we were all on the same page, the work began on time. There was some miscommunication regarding what the crews needed to complete their work. The tools they had required an outside electrical outlet, which I don't have - this postponed work for a day. Had I know ahead of time, I could have provided the necessary connection. That aside, the crew did a superb job cleaning up the worksite and I am very happy with the result

We live in Delaware, Ohio and did some research on the company. A few of the neighbors had Mae Fence install their fences. The only issue that I found was that a neighbor had a vinyl panel that came off during a storm and that neighbor said they had issues with Mae Fence not coming back in a timely manner to address their repairs but eventually it got repaired months later. After much research, Eventually, My wife made a decision to move forward with purchasing a vinyl fence Install from Mae roughly 3 months ago. The crew came and built the vinyl fence in one day. They left one of the post right next to my house crooked, a bottom piece was also dented in, the locks were sticking, and the lock had a spring that was already rusting. I called them the next day to inform them of all of these items. They sent repairmen out 3 times, the first time, the crew came out only to assess the problem even when I sent them pictures and described the repairs. The second time, 2 a crew came out but did not have the proper machinery to dig up the post, so they only replaced the dented panel. The third time, they came out and again, did not have the proper equipment. I called to follow up on the situation as I eventually spoke to the General Manager, Adam who assured me they would be at my house two weeks ago but there was a no call no show so it only made sense to follow up since Melina emailed me stating they would show up on 9/22. On 9/22, I took time from my work to call them on my break, Melina advised me they will call before they come. After multiple no call no shows, this just wasn't good enough, I need to know exactly when I should expect them. I asked to speak to a manager and spoke to their GM, Adam, who told me to F- off and stated that he was doing me a favor for even having someone come out and repair the misaligned post and that the misalignment was not a big enough deal. So since he represents the company, their lack of professionalism is basically summed up that they specialize in fencing but do not care if is misaligned. So in conclusion, I should have went with my gut feeling after communicating with Adam prior to the install. The first time I spoke to Adam was prior to the install, we had a phone discussion the day before to make sure we were all on the same page even if the crew does a walkthrough prior to working. IF you are looking for a fence, do not choose this company. The bad reviews on here and many other sites have merit. These individuals who work in the office give customers a run around and lack integrity, specifically Adam. He is GM of the company and feels empowered to tell a customer who has already paid to F- off, that speaks volumes on the type of culture the owner creates in the company. All for what? Because a customer wants to make sure the crew shows up to repair the fence? The employees are a representation of a company. I want you to think about what kind of experience you want from a company? Would you give your money to a company who will sell you up front and then not follow through on the repairs like they advertise? I have reported my experience to the Better Business Bureau and multiple website reviews in hopes that my experience deters people from working with this company. Small businesses like these create a bad reputation for businesses who actually do a good job. This kind of experience creates mistrust
