Reviews of Tree Cutting Services Near You
Trees Are My Business
They cleaned up. They did not have to haul anything away, because we have a place for a bonfire, and so they had to pile them up there, but they were excellent. They were very good. They were professional, and their price was very reasonable.

They cut up thelogs where they fell instead of moving them from the structure. ran the machine over any thing on the lawn, flowers, plants, anything that fell from the damaged construction. left pop cans around on lawn rushed through the job.6076

The Davey Tree Expert Company- Columbus & W Columbus
They've just done a good job. Their tree service is really good. They refuse to chop a tree. They say you should never chop a tree and just trim it after. They get the dead limb. So that's what I do. I've had other tree people come in the past and they like to chop off limbs that don't need to be chopped off. Frankly, I think they just do a better job. I have them on my lower deck and that's the one I call if I need them. We already contracted with them once a year to come in and aerate my lawn. When I called them, we made an appointment at that time if I'm not mistaken, they came out on that day

Dan's Tree Service
It turned out really well. I liked him. He does not beat around the bush, he gets right to the point. He is very honest. I would use him again.

W.E. Miller Tree Service
Overall the experience was okay, Mr. Miller was very responsive to estimating the work and performing the services. Mr. Miller gave an estimate to my wife for the work and then increased the price a $100 because a certain portion of the tree was slightly over the property line. This was frustrating for me because the yard would have looked terrible with the tree left the way they were proposing. While I can understand the reason for the price increase, I would recommend for future customer to clearly understand what's "in" vs. "out" of scope for the estimate in hand. Simply put, draw lines in the yard, on the trees, etc. - get very specific (I only emphasize this because I saw other members comment on this as well)

These guys were terrific!!! From the moment they arrived, they got right to work on all the jobs and it was amazing to watch. They did an excellent job on each area and then, they cleaned up ALL the places where they had chopped stuff. I am so very pleased and will use this company again.

Stephenson Tree Service
Bill called me within 3 hours of me leaving a message. He stopped by the next day to give me an estimate for the work. His estimate was so reasonable, I agreed to his price. He removed the tree that afternoon and did a great job removing the stump. I've already had several neighbors ask me who he was since he did a great job. I would highly recommend him

Ohio Tree Care Inc
Great! Their estimate was the most affordable of anyone we consulted, the time frame to come do it was reasonable, and the services were performed to our expectations (and quickly). I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone, and plan on going to them again in the future when we need a similar service.

Taylors Tree Experts
Not good. They said they would chop up the tree and leave it. They had to borrow ladders for my neighbor and myself. The limbs were just chopped up in sections, the ladders were left laying on its side, and the neighbors ladder were just left along the shed. The logs were suppose to be stacked up against the tree and they weren't. They just did not do what they said they would do

I felt like the price was very good. When the guy came, he was very professional. When they actually came to do the work, I wasn't as thrilled. I've had trees removed in the past. Then, the people cut off parts and lowered them with a pulley. These guys chopped down the whole thing and let it fall. It left a big mess in my yard. They did clean up the branches and the leaves. Maybe I should've asked more questions. When he was done grinding up the stump, there was a mess as well

It went great. They had 2 separate crews on 2 separate days perform the work. One crew to chop down and remove trees. Another to grind the the stumps. Everything went very smoothly and I was truly amazed by how quickly and efficiently they worked. They cleaned up absolutely everything.

THEIR WORK OTHER THAN THE TRANSPLANTING OF THE TREES, THEIR WORK IS GOOD. THEY DIDNT STEAK THE TREES AND SO NOW THEY HAVE DIED AND ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DYING.

Woodruff Tree Service
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out well. I wasn't home when they did the work. I went to work and when I came home, the tree was gone. There were no limbs or any remnants. They didn't hurt my fence which was truly like 6 inches from the tree. The tree was pretty tall. It was great and they didn't leave any rubbish in the yard. They advertised another special but I couldn't use two specials. I couldn't use the coupon and the special they had in the newspaper. I had to add an extra $200. There was a little problem with them getting out when they said they would. They came the day they said they would come. The price was fair

Great, on time, did the work, cleaned up. A tight spot to get into so I'm really not complaining about the wooden gate getting banged up.

The tree trimming went well, however, there were many cut off branches that remained in the tree that we had to clean up later that week. The grinding of the stumps was something we waited about two weeks for. This was interesting because we got the invoice saying our bill should be paid in full 10 days after the bushes were cut, even though the grinding of the stumps did not occur until two weeks later. There were some stumps that were not done in that process, either missed or not done because they were too close to the house (which the estimator should have realized and told us could not be done). On the original job description, we had contracted to have the hostas removed for replanting, and to get them out of the way for the removal work. They were never removed and took quite a beating from the feet and machinery involved. We were very disappointed in Charter Oaks this time. We had used them before for similar things and will never use them again

EAGER BEAVER TREE SERVICE
This is an incredibly hard-working team, and I feel they did a great job. I would have given them A's across the board except for one thing: they emptied a bunch of branches from a garbage container in our yard so they could use it to collect debris while they were working - and then did not clean up the branches they had dumped when they were done. A little disappointing

Wright's Tree Service
They were very professional and courteous. I really was very happy the way they went about cutting the branches down and did not ruin any of my gardens. I had a few trees taken down a few years ago and they left a mess in our yard, but Wright Way took away an or chopped up the branches, you couldn't even tell that they were there. I would recommend them to anyone and the next time we need that service, we will certainly call them I give them an A rating. Pam Elliot

They were very good but not quite excellent. The price I paid was very reasoable for the work they did. The thing that was frustrating was that there was some miscommunication within the company. The day they cut the trees down they cut and/or chipped the trees and hauled them away. However, they left the larger pieces out on the front lawn. They said they would be back in a few days to pick them up. Days went by and they were still in my yard. I called to see what the problem was and they told me there was some miscommunication

Seattle Tree Care
Access to our backyard is very limited, no alley, no garage, and we live on a hillside (36 steps to my front door from the street), etc. We built a sizable chicken coop before we new the tree was so sick so access to the tree and keeping the surrounding structures (house and coop) safe was a barrier that added to the cost. The 5 employees were great! Polite, thoughtful, helpful. They work very hard. They split the whole tree into firewood, and they stump grounded the tree as well as two other trees for us. We kept all the shavings for the chicken coop and they bagged the shavings for us and moved them. They did a fantastic job cleaning up too. Our neighbor decided to hire them as well. Her cost was $900 a tree but she has easy access to her backyard without any structural barriers and the trees were smaller
