The Waterworks
The waterworks servicemen are very experienced! We were told by three other plumbers that in order to repair our leaking faucets, the tiles had to be removed. Not only it would cost us, but also there won't be matching tiles available on the market. Unlike other plumbers just came to our house for estimation. The two guys from the waterworks plumbing came to our house and fixed our leaking faucets in a very short time without breaking the tiles. We couldn't thank them enough

Ashby Home Repair
Pat is a perfectionist and always does the job right. He gets to the root of a problem and fixes that before moving forward to make sure no future problems arise. He does beautiful work with ceramic tiling, installing kitchen cabinets and counter tops, as well as window and drywall installation and repair. He always goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is more than happy with the result and that the price is fair. We highly recommend Pat Ashby for any household remodeling or repair

Ashby Home Repair
We primarily needed someone to repair a leak in our shower. Initially I contacted three companies on Angie's list for quotations. Only one kept their appointment and was really only interested in a complete bathroom remodel rather than fixing the existing shower which was not in our budget. I contacted three more companies and this time Pat Ashby responded right away. I called rather than emailed him as his profile requests. He came to the house the following evening and assured me that the shower leak could be repaired and explained to me in detail where he thought the leak was and what he would do to ensure it was repaired correctly including replacing the old linoleum with ceramic tile as the linoleum had to be partially removed to repair a water damaged floor board underneath. Additionally I asked Pat to quote some other items that needed attention around the house including repairing a hole in the drywall, installing a ceiling fan, replacing a rusted exterior door, repairing the grout and replace the caulk in the shower he would repair plus around our second bathroom tub. After measuring, calculating materials, etc. Pat quoted me pricing on the spot for all of the items we had discussed he also provided a time-frame to complete the work. Ultimately Pat completed the project on budget and on schedule with minimal interruption to our family's daily routine. He kept his work areas tidy and did most of the dusty/dirty work in the garage to minimize dust in the house. I checked in with Pat periodically throughout the 2 weeks he was working at our house and he was always ready to provide detailed updates regarding progress and any issues that had popped up. He finished work on a Friday and had left the house before I returned home. I was pleasantly surprised when he stopped by on Saturday morning to review the work one last time and make sure that everything was done to satisfaction. I would certainly use Pat for future projects and am glad we found him

Honey to Do Ltd
In additional to original contract to remove and replace tiles in shower/tub enclosure, I had miscellaneous handyman jobs. He was very accommodating to my need to stop the work. Did all handyman stuff. Fixed 2 light fixtures and sink faucet washers. He was pleasant and careful and understanding about my change of bathroom repair

The Waterworks
I had water appearing under a wall in an area adjoining both a laundry and bathroom. I had two other Angie's Listed plumbers out and they both told me to get a contractor to remove the bathroom vanity and about 20 square feet of tile from my floor and drywall and they would be back to locate/repair the leak. I then called The Waterworks. Waterworks set an appointment for the following day (Saturday). Two plumbers arrived on time. I was very impressed with the thorough way they set about eliminating various easily accessed sources by checking the crawl space, toilet, washing machine and sink connections before cutting into walls. Then they made only small cuts into which a camera was inserted. After 3 hours the source was not found but appeared to be related to the washing machine. The Waterworks staff asked me to run several loads of laundry on Sunday and told me he would call at 1:00 p.m. when he returned to work on Monday and then come back after the additional water had gone through the pipe. He called as promised and returned to my home about an hour later. The leak was in a difficult spot and they did have to remove the vanity 2 floor tiles. The problem was related to something an earlier contractor had done wrong. The repairs were made by The Waterworks within a few hours of locating the broken pipe. I very much appreciate the prompt response, friendly staff (all 3 plumbers involved were great!), comprehensive service, use of cameras instead of chopping up walls, clean work-site. Thanks

Outstandingly well. Mr. Schifer was professional, pleasant, and a pleasure to do business with. He fixed both problems quickly and well. I give him my highest recommendation.

Direct Home Improvements, LLC
The service provided by Jerry and Ann at Direct Home Improvements was exceptional. Each time we called they immediately responded and made sure we were satisfied at each step of the process. Jamie the tile installer was very punctual and did a great job at installing and fixing any of our requests and he always left the work area clean. We would definitely recommend them again

CASE HANDYMAN & REMODELING OF COLUMBUS
The owner came out to look over the job (other companies would only give me a quote over phone). Their handyman arrived on time, and was very efficient with his time. Very pleasant. Am planning on having them back to give me an estimate on new counter tops. Great experience.

Bluewater Remodeling Inc
We were very pleased with the masonry work completed on our home exterior. The stone trim was replaced and repaired to match perfectly. We also had our master shower recaulked and grouted due to normal wear. The communication was excellent in both cases and I appreciate the high level of detail given for the jobs

CLASSIC HANDYMAN SERVICES
WORK WAS VERY THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL. EVEN THOUGH FINDING AND FIXING THE LEAK THAT CAUSED THE ROT AMOUNTED TO JUST TIGHTENING A VALVE, AND EVEN THOUGH THIS MEANT REMOVING 3 EXTRA TILES BEYOND THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, THE FINAL BILL WAS $198 MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, FOR A TOTAL OF 5 HRS WORK (I PROVIDED MOST OF THE MATERIALS). OVER $75 PER HOUR SEEMS STEEP

Ashby Home Repair
Pat mostly works by himself since he is a perfectionist. He is very detail-oriented and will not cut corners regardless of whether a defect would be immediately visible to the customer. He anticipates he may need to make additional small repairs and enhancements and usually does so gratis even though his estimate was more than competitive. Since he does many jobs he can offer valuable insights into the latest styles and products if requested. I was very pleased with the end result - his skill and professionalism were very apparent. Pat also performs handyman repairs and did a few other small projects for me - refinished the grout and caulk in another bathroom that had been poorly done by a previous contractor, repaired an interior door that had been badly planed and scratched, repaired a sticking sliding pantry shelf drawer that I was unable to figure out and most notably added a beautiful frame to a mirror that was glued to a wall. Again I was very happy with the results and the improvement they made to the house. As was typical, Pat was prone to fixing other items he would notice "in the vicinity" (such as scratches in the woodwork) if he could do so

CarifaTile
The job went great. Joe Dismuke from the Tony Carifa Marble & Tile Company explained the job details (price, time and materials) very well. In my opinion, the best feature of working with Joe was that the contractor provided all the materials, (except the tile choices) which saves time. Joe communicated with us on a daily basis and provided updates on the job progress. Joe is very detail oriented on his craft. I would definitely recommend the Tony Carifa Marble & Tile Company for any project

HOME REMEDIES
Home Remedies is now my go-to choice for having work done on my home. They did some unrelated repair work for me earlier this year, and now have finished a second job for me. Doug and Scott are friendly, and I know I'm getting good work done for a better price than I would get elsewhere. They are quick to respond to any concerns that I might have, and they honor their word. I am so happy with their work that they will be replacing a ceramic tile floor in two rooms for me before the end of the year

Davey Tile
They were very professional, courteous and fast. The new work cosmetically matches the old work perfectly. They even suggested that we work with our home builder prior to contracting with Davey because they thought is might be accepted as a warranty claim and fixed with no charge to us. When we found out that our home builder would not cover it under warranty, Davey performed the services and then gave us a discount equal to the service price for our next job with them...because they felt bad that we had to pay for it!Now that's service

Asset One
Best experience EVER! Bernie got here right on time, brought all necessary tools, even brought his own padded blanket to lay on the floor while working on fan. He was here about 45 minutes and found it was a vibration caused by not having the blower motor physically "fixed" to the metal base. Sliding the motor forward under the fire box and adding a couple pieces of two-sided velcro fixed everything! We also talked about possibly adding a second switch to control the fan instead of it being regulated by the fireplace. But after thinking about it we decided it wasn't a good idea to bypass the regulator. Anyway, after all his time, he gathered up his tools and was ready to leave. I asked how much I owed him and he said. "Nothing, because I learned a little today." He literally wouldn't let me give him anything! What a great guy! We got the fireplace fixed, everyone will be happy, and it didn't cast me a thing. We have a new handyman for all our future needs. And we'll refer him to all others

I recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for light construction tasks. Don't remember the cost. It was, however, reasonable.

Ducks In A Row
Kim and Kathy did a wonderful job on everything. They are perfectionists, and everything was "done right." They are also very neat--I had almost nothing to clean up! They ran into a bit of an issue when installing the new valve for my bath fixtures, but they were smart enough to know a plumber was required. They got a plumber to my house, and worked with the plumber to solve the problem. They were able to reinstall the shower tiles that needed to be removed to install the valve! I am SO grateful for that! The final time/cost was a bit high than estimated, but understandable once they discovered the issue with the tub valve

All Around Home Maintenance
The experience went very well. They were on time to both the estimate and the appt. They got started to work right away and were very friendly. They let me know what they were doing and let me in on the process, which was very nice. Oakley and his coworker were very knowledgeable about the repairs and shared with me what they felt needed to be done. After starting to work on the shower, they noticed some tiles that needed some grout work besides what was needed to seal the shower and were happy to fix those too. I was very happy with Oakley and his coworker's handy work and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again if the need arose
