I did not find them on Angie's List. They are local here. It cost $99 but with the tax and everything it came up to $120. They always do a good job. I also go with another service provider who is local here but I could not get a hold of him and this deal was on. So, I took it and it was 3 rooms for $99. They just talked to me over the phone and told me what the cost was to clean the carpets in 3 rooms. My overall experience with them was above average and it was good but not excellent. The package includes 2 or 3 future cleans. They cleaned off a whole carpet this time, and we bought an additional 2 room cleaning. I thought they were very professional. They were punctual, they came in and did exactly what they said they would do, plus they did additional work. In our actual order, we did not ask for our couch and chairs to be done, and they were here and they did it, instead of us making another appointment. They did an ok job and there was no furniture in the house. It was a little confusing. It was $99 deal and the lady wasn?t clear on that and said we gotta call so and so for that, we don?t do those, it was not what we expect. It wasn?t the steam clean like Stanley Steemer it was a big brush sort of a thing. The carpets are clean, don?t get me wrong, maybe it was a more hassle than we expected. They did a good job but it wasn't as smooth. I doubt we'd call them back. I think we had a problem to get them. We had a little bit a run around. Wendell from Greenix was a friendly and prompt fellow. He brought in a Smart Care Trio carpet cleaner machine and used distilled water with a solution to clean the tough stains out of our old berber carpet. We already had our furniture moved when he came so he got straight to work. The other semi-mobile furniture that we didn't move, Wendell moved it and cleaned the area where the furniture was to a different location in the room. We have two Dobermans and a Mini Schnauzer who have done a number on our berber carpet (hair, paw stains, potty stains, etc.). We didn't want to spend a lot of money on carpet cleaning because our carpet is so old (1989), but we wanted to neutralized the dogs' odors and get the major stains out to hold us over until we can afford to replace the carpet. Wendell from Greenix did just that. We used a RetailMeNot coupon to get $10 off the promotional Angie's Deal price of $99. We only spent $89 for 6 bedrooms compared $500+ dollars spent last time to Stanley Steemers. If our carpet was newer, I bet it would look brand new again. This provider cleaned 5 areas of carpet, sunroom with ceramic tile and grout, deodorized. We bought a house that we soon discovered contained evidence of a prior pet. Clearly the furniture and boxes were strategically placed to cover the stains whenever we were in the house. Although the windows were always open, I thought I detected a funky odor and questioned the realtor about it. The seller commented that she had the carpet cleaned, but didn't think they did a good job. I was hoping the odor was whatever carpet cleaning solution had been used. Nevertheless, I decided that one bedroom had some nasty carpet and opted to remove it and replace with hard surface flooring. It wasn't until the windows were closed for a few days that the odor resurfaced, and I really noticed it when we entered the home after being gone for a few hours. We decided to have the carpet cleaned ourselves by another company before we moved our furniture in. He commented that there was a lot of "soap" residue, but he could also tell there was pet urine because as he went over certain areas the smell came up. I thought it still smelled funky after the cleaning, but was hoping it was kind of like a wet dog, i.e. it would smell better after it was dry. Nope. We happened to receive a packet of coupons in the mail; Restore-It Carpet Cleaning had a coupon in the packet. The promise to eliminate pet odor caught my eye. Even though it had been just a couple of weeks since the last cleaning, I gave them a call. Upon arrival to our home, they honored the coupon to clean 5 areas for $69.95. I took them up on their "no pressure" offer to add the ceramic tile (as there was obvious staining in the grout in many places). I also took them up on their equally "no pressure" offer to deodorize. At their suggestion, I turned a fan on and pointed it directly at a mystery stain that appeared after the first cleaning by the other company. I have to add that although they made suggestions, they were in response to my inquiries and I did not feel like they were adding suggestion after suggestion to run the bill up. I had the cleaning done right before we departed on vacation. When we returned home from vacation, the magical stain had not resurfaced and for the first time since taking possession of our "new" home, I didn't wrinkle my nose in distaste upon entering the house. I am faithful about having my carpet regularly cleaned and have done so regardless of where we have lived over the past 25 years, always using Stanley Steemer. Based on the lackluster reviews Stanley Steemer received in this area, we opted for a company with better reviews for our first cleaning. I think had it not been for the pet stain/odor issue, I would have been satisfied with the job they did. Because Restore-It Carpet Cleaning took care of the stain and odor issues, they get top marks. I would definitely use this company again! Not only did they do a great job, they were very, very courteous. They listened to my concerns, made suggestions, did the job, and were in and out in no time. Again, I could not have been more pleased.
