We are THRILLED with our new patio. Matt and his team were punctual, professional and fast! We loved the size of the patio but we were not crazy about the stained color because it kept getting lighter. Matt and his team came out twice to darken it up. When that didn't work, they changed the type of stain and it looks GREAT. They didn't stop until we were happy. I HIGHLY recommend them. They were the best price and they were fast. It was a great experience overall. We started talking to Jake in April to go over a design and cost. We had to wait a little over two months to get the patio started. Once they started, they were efficient and professional. We were rookies and they they took the time to answer and address all of our questions. Once they finished, we realized the patio wasn't as big as we thought it was going to be. My husband called Jake immediately, and Jake returned his call at 9:00 that night to go over our options. We ended up adding on to the original patio and it blends perfectly and looks awesome. They were very willing to work with us and wanted us to be happy with the finished product. Patio and step were removed in minutes. The creation of forms and preparation of the bed required a lot of precise measurement and crafting that they were quite adept at. They worked late in order to have everything ready. The next day all was ready for the concrete delivery. A considerable amount of work was done on the finishing and stamping of the step and patio. The entire crew was friendly and easy to work with. Every member was constantly at work but they were always ready to answer questions. They did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. We got over 10 estimates for the patio- we were looking for not only price, but a company who seemed to grasp our vision for the patio design. Curt's was right-on with the drawing they came back with after meeting with us. They were very easy to work with- this is a family run business and the same 4 or 5 guys were here the whole time- they do not use contractors- so you know that the people you worked with on the design will also be doing the installation- no communication problems. Curt's also had the best price out of all the contractors we met with. The patio was installed in 5 days and it is BEAUTIFUL!! All of our friends and neighbors have "patio-envy"! Our next door neighbors loved ours so much, they had Curt's put in their patio the next week and are also thrilled with theirs. After our installation, we discovered that one of our main water lines underground (and under the new patio) had been broken- probably due to the weight of the bobcat. Curt's worked with our irrigation company to come back out- at no cost to us- rip out a section of the patio so the pipe could be repaired, and replace it so it looked like nothing ever happened. We have several friends who now want to use Curt's as a result of our experience and our fabulous patio. Kevin was great to work with! He has done jobs throughout our neighborhood and everyone was happy with his work. He came in and quoted a price that was very competitive with the others I received. He got started right away and had everything wrapped up within a week! He was very accommodating as I made several changes on the fly. Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project. He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job. On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer. I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word. The bobcat didn't do any damage. They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory. Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result. The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows. After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete. Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty. The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete. I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat. . The installation and process went very smoothly once the weather cleared up. Brian's crew was out and finished everything up in two days. The workers were very friendly and answered all my questions.
