Top Sprinkler Winterization Near Columbus

My husband & I never had the first company we were trying reschedule from their first cancellation & forget to follow up setting up winterization of our sprinklers (winterization of boat, landscape, pots, holidays, hockey & travel overwhelm us when it isn't completed early like we originally planned). On Thurs, Dec 5th, I remembered & called Green Touch immediately. With snow & freezing temperatures coming Friday, I was really stressed about the system and was also concerned it was getting too late. But not for Green Touch! They had someone come out that evening on my schedule to winterize our system. I think it was later than usual & was already cold & rainy. I was thrilled that they would accommodate us & it was such a relief! The technician was very polite, removed shoes to come inside to turn off water, completed the job very efficiently & quick, allowing me to make dinner and keep on our daily tight schedule! It couldn't have been a pleasant experience, with the temperature, rain turning to sleet & the fact that it was dark by the time he was done. I really appreciated how he was sincerely happy to help and get it done before the snow started. I will no longer be looking for another company for our sprinkler needs! Now if I could just find someone to make winterizing our boat that great, I'd be setshow more

I have used Absolute for several years to open/close my system. They did well enough, but things were always a bit off and I finally cut bait after my last experience. Over the years they have done winterization and inevitably the back-flow explodes over the winter and needs to be replaced. Obviously the system wasn’t winterized properly. They were never bad enough to look elsewhere and convenient enough, so I let it go. This past winterization trip I could tell that the technician had missed several zones as my phone alerts me in real time as to when a zone runs. When I went to talk to the tech and mention he had missed a few zones, he started slamming things in his truck. He was angry with me - why would I have zones disabled!? The order was for five zones?! That zone doesn’t show up on my phone!!! I was aghast. Huffing, puffing and slamming the air hose around, the tech reconnected and blew out much of the same zones again yet not some of the ones I mentioned he missed. Later the tech texted me that he isn’t “usually short” and apologized. Thanks, I guess. I immediately emailed the main office and their response was to get me scheduled two weeks out to have it redone by another tech. No apology. No explanation. No back pedaling. No mention of having addressed it with the employee. I told them to forget it and I would look elsewhere. At that point I got an apology for the “miscommunication”. There was no miscommunication. Their technician was simply out of control and over the line over nothing. It’s irrigation. It’s a 10 minute job. It’s easy. If I had a big air enough compressor I’d do it myself. It’s not supposed to be an emotional or hostile interaction. Customer service is easy. You apologize, eat crow, and get the customer into the schedule that day to make it right. There are so many irrigation companies, it’s not worth the heartburn to deal with whatever is going on hereshow more

I was very happy with the service that they provided. I thought they did a good job and were very professional. I would use them again the future and have no complaints. There was one sprinkler head that was broken but I don't blame them for that but i wish they would have fixed it. No real big deal thoughshow more

Found this company on an Angie's List Big Deal. They contacted me through email and set up the appointment quickly, which was wonderful. The tech showed up on time and put booties on before coming in my home. He found the irrigation shut-off and then blew out the water from my sprinkler system. He was friendly and very quick. I'm not sure the price was such a great deal but it was fair for the service. I would use them againshow more

Because we were leaving town before they would have otherwise gotten to our area, they made a special effort to work around our travel schedule. They have done the winterization of our system for the past several years. We've been very happy with them. More recently we've also used them for the required back flow prevention certification. Price seems to be competitive and service is pretty straightforward. We did have freeze damage to BFP last January which required replacement. Again, price seemed competitive, and I was totally satisfied with work. I have no reluctance at recommending themshow more

I've made a right decision to call in Robert again for the irrigation winterization. He was very nice, patient, and professional. He showed me around and explained to me how the system worked. He also explained why he couldn't find out all valves and come up with a fix plan while he was doing the spring startup for us - we were new to the house and had never seen the system working then, he really didn't want us to rush to a decision without even seeing how it worked. Sorry that I gave him a B for the previous evaluation. I'll definitely hire him again for the system re-adjustment next springshow more

Saw the crew of 2 winterizing the neighbor's system and walked over to see what he charged & if I could get my irrigation system winterized. He was very accommodating and said he would get me in (they had several others to do in the neighborhood). He was knowledgeable and helpful. Explained the system well.
