Great! We were frantic trying to find someone to come out on the same day, as our hard-wired smoke detectors were beeping non-stop despite our best efforts to fix them. They first tried to help us troubleshoot the problem over the phone and then squeezed us in the same day. The electrician came early and fixed the problem. They ended up charging us less than their quote which was amazing! They certainly didn't need to do that, but they ended up fixing the wiring faster than they planned. One of our smoke detectors alarmed today and upon checking it I found it was warm to the touch and smoke was coming from around the unit. The fire department extinguished the fire and disconnected the old detector which was hard wired, no battery back up. I called PDQ and explained the situation, power was off in my bathrooms and part of my kitchen and I didn't have any working smoke detectors in my home at the time. (The fire department had to turn the breaker off that supplied power to the smoke detectors and the bathroom). PDQ was at my home within 2 hours of my call and installed the detector very quickly. I called on a Tuesday for an appointment and Darren came 2 days later. Someone called on Wednesday wanting to know if the technician could come that day and there was a reminder call for the Thursday appointment on Wednesday evening. Darren came about 8 AM and worked almost continuously for about 7 hours. He was polite and answered all of my questions. He used parts of the existing system after testing them. Although he used a vacuum on the carpet where he had worked I later found that he missed quite a bit. Overall I was quite impressed. The next day we found that the old sensor on a door was unreliable although it had worked fine for Darren. Love the local dispatchers who know the area and answer on the first ring. Don't love the fact that I could not get out of my 3 year contract after I moved 2 years into the contract. Make sure you write in a clause that says if you terminate ownership in the property then you can exit the contract. I was not happyshow more

Nikki the seller showed up 30 minutes late after calling the night before to move the appointment up by 30 minutes. No big deal. She seemed to know what she was talking about. We came to an agreement including all details. James the installer was on time and prepared to do the job. It was only then that we discovered that while the price was still the same, Nikki did not include the carbon monoxide detector, and overpromised on updating the existing equipment with new batteries. After an hour on the phone we resolved the carbon monoxide issue, but never the battery issues (I have 16 of the batteries, and they are $5 each). Instead of backing up their seller and giving me what she promised, Tyler and Nikki put me in the middle forcing me to agree to pay for the batteries, or stop the installation. We have had this firm for several years and often do not even turn it on due to false alarms etc Finally doing a report on them as they promised to place new smoke alarms in the house (after they said they were still good several times but the fire department finally convinced them they were bad.
