Let me first say I was a very loyal and repeat customer for Waterworks. They did gas lines, etc with quality. That changed in Feb 2018 when I paid them the 60 dollar Trip Charge --they charge for estimates-- to quote a sink installation, new plumbing, etc. The estimator was very nice, and they quoted around 1300 for the work. As this was more than anticipated, we needed to save up. Fast forward to July, we called to schedule the work as quoted + some additional new work, as we had always just trusted this service. I asked for a ballpark for the 2nd sink. They stated, they don't quote over the phone. They also informed me that another 60 fee would be due if they come out but I scheduled anyway. Then on the day of the scheduled service they call at 7am trying to confirm the visit we already confirmed. I called back and they said the tech should arrive by 9am. At 10:15, I called and spoke with supervisor and reminded them the complexity of the job, the fact I took off work to be home, and set some expectation for the arrival. They reviewed the requested work and then at 11:30 am, told me in addition to the $1300 the 2nd sink would be another $600 or more! Still no tech arrived. As this seemed expensive, I told them to see what they could do about the price. I emphasized that all the confusion and higher prices seemed a bit unfair and inconsiderate of me as a repeat customer. It was also very noteworthy that they don't price over the phone, but still gave me a price on the day of service! During this interim, I called 3 other Angie's List vendors to "check the price". All of them were lower by at least 30% and none charged a trip fee. A little after 12noon, Waterworks senior management made the supervisor call me back to say they were not willing to send a technician unless I agree to the high price and there was nothing they intended to do about my inconvenience, the time wasted waiting for the tech and overall poor experience. They basically wasted my day, gave the business to competition and lost a customer. They wasted the 60 dollars I paid in Feb along with my wages lost because no work got done on the agreed upon day. It is a shame because until now I would have given them an A rating. If nothing else, I recommend shopping other Angie's List options to ensure you have a fair priceshow more

They were prompt and courteous. Everything was performed with high quality. Sink is in better shape then when we bought the house. Pot rack was a difficult install with high ceiling, but they did it beautifully. Camera still needs configuration, but that is on me. The track lighting was an easy fix for them while they were hanging the pot rack. I have used them many times in the past, and they never disappointshow more

I called to set up the appointment about a week before the service and they gave me a 4 hour window when they would come. So they were supposed to come between 2pm and 6pm on Friday the 4th. At about 4pm on the 4th I called to see if I could get an estimated time of arrival so I could plan out the rest of my day. The dispatcher told me they would be there within the hour. Well, they didn't end up getting there until about 6:30 and no one called me to tell me they were going to be late or they on their way. Once the plumber got there, he was very nice and did a very good job. My only other problem is that the price was based off an action list instead of the time it took to do it. I am all for this type of billing if it encourages efficiency, but 300 for about an hour and 20 minutes of work was a little too pricey in my opinion. My biggest problem is just the fact that I did not feel that they valued my time at all. If they said they were going to be there at 6 and got there at 6:30, I could understand that. But when they give the customer a 4 hour window and the customer has to make sure they are available for that whole time and then they can't even hit that window, to me that is disrespectful. Not to mention that they didn't call to tell me they were going to be late nor apologize. So while I was happy with the work they did, I am unlikely to use this company again because of my poor customer service opinionshow more

Pat came out a Sunday morning before the job to take a look at the projects. On the day we scheduled, he showed up right on time and got to work. There were some unexpected snags with the sink installation and he ended up having to leave for some heavier duty tools, but he came back quickly and even brought reinforcements. The new sink looks fantastic and you can barely tell the drywall crack was there. The quality of his work was excellent, he worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. And he's super friendly. 04/2017. Very polite and courteous, on time for scheduled estimate. Explained everything well, took proper notes to formalize an estimate to be emailed later. Never received formal estimate 7 days after scheduled estimate even after calling their office to inquire and being told it would be emailed plus the office called back to confirm it would be. Estimate never received. If email address was not clear the office had my personal cell phone and could have called to confirm again if needed. THE WATERWORKS CAME OUT WITHIN THE WINDOW THEY HAD ESTIMATED, BUT THE PLUMBER DID NOT HAVE ALL THE PARTS HE NEEDED. I HAD TO RUN TO THE HOME DEPOT TO GET PARTS WHILE HE WORKED IN MY HOUSE. IT TOOK LONGER THAN ESTIMATED, AND COST ME MORE THAN ESTIMATED. THE MAIN REASON I USED THEM WAS THAT THEY DO NOT CHARGE OVERTIME FEES, AND WERE ABLE TO DO THE INSTALLATION WHEN I NEEDED THEM TO BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE ONE DAY OFF PER WEEK. Doug and Bryan came out and handled everything quickly (called on Sunday and they came out at 9:30 am Monday), including fixing the dishwasher seal that wasn't done properly by countertop company. At no extra charge! I have used this company on 3 other occasions and their level of professionalism and quality of service is unbeatable. I cannot recommend this company highly enoughshow more

Showed up on time for all appointments. Everyone did a great job and were friendly and professional. Countertops look fabulous!!!! Two minor glitches occurred: One counter was cut wrong and had to be replaced, but was done 2 days later. Dishwasher was pushed in to far for reattachment to the counter, causing it to leak. Phil came out and corrected it promptly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quartz countertops!show more
