Swan was great. My 6 year old shower door was no longer level due to plastic sleeve hinge breaking. I called a competitor who came out and said I needed to replace the door along with surrounding frame for $750-1000 which I didn't understand why the shower frame would need replaced. I then called Swan and they asked me to look up on the building plans which shower was installed, they said it's most definitely the plastic sleeve that broke and for $320 they would have somebody come out and install an entire new shower door since it would cost just as much in time for them to fix the original door. 2 people came out a week later with a new shower door and literally 15 minutes later they were done and it works great. Working with Steve of Eco Glass Design was great! He came and saw that it would be kind of an unusual installation, but he was confident that it could be done. He took a lot of measurements - very meticulous! He kept me apprised of the status of the door and worked with my schedule to install it. We're thrilled with the quality of the shower, but extremely disappointed with the underestimation of the actual time it took to complete this job. We were originally told that install would take 2-1/2 weeks. Demo started 4/23/10 and install fully completed on 6/4/10, which equals 6 weeks. Not able to use shower for 5 weeks (had to use guest bath/shower). Able to use shower on 5/28/10, minus the robe hook, which was installed on 6/4/10show more

In 2011, Baker Group finished my basement. Having done an excellent job, I had them come back in 2013 to remodel the master bathroom. I wanted the entire room gutted, with the exception of the double sinks and vanity. I had taped out an outline of the shape and location of where I wanted the new shower. Phil and I designed the shower, which required moving a wall and rebuilding it, relocating the shower drain, creating a marble shower seat built along the entire exterior wall, and building a custom mud pan to fit the enclosure size. Glass shower walls were installed. Floor to ceiling wall tile was installed in the shower, with two niches for shower items. The shower floor was tiled and accent trim was added to the shower and above the double sinks. The entire shower area was waterproofed with a Schluter Kerdi waterproofing system. LED can lights and new exhaust fans were installed into the vaulted ceiling. The door to the separate toilet room was removed and replaced with a pocket door. All plumbing fixtures were updated and a new toilet installed. ADA safety bars were installed in the shower and toilet room. The electrical outlets and light switches were relocated. The bathroom floor was tiled in an offset pattern with two different sizes of tile. The walls received a custom paint treatment by Tommy. Phil crafted a new medicine cabinet to match not only the wood color of the vanity, but in his meticulous attention to detail, he even created the same routing design that the sink vanity had. Phil and his crew were just as courteous as the first time they had worked in our home. The crew arrived on time each day and all debris was disposed of and the area swept each night. The entire crew of Baker group displayed a positive, friendly, and relaxed, yet professional attitude. Phil was extremely easy to work with and was always open to customer ideas and concerns. The entire project was completed in the time frame originally proposed. All items in the contract were fulfilled and performance expectations were exceeded. The workmanship and attention to detail is impeccable. We absolutely love our new bathroom and plan on having Phil and Baker Group Remodeling come back to do our kitchen! They honored a 10 or 15 percent Angie's List discount. I really liked them because they came exactly when they said they were going to come. They took all the measurements. They told me it would 2-3 weeks to get all the custom glass made and it was right on schedule. There were no delays. They called and came out. They told me it would take 3 hours to install the glass. They were there just a little under 3 hours. They were very neat and it is beautiful. I priced several others and they were right in the ballpark plus I got the discount. The quality was excellent. I am doing another shower in a couple of months and they will definitely be the one that I callshow more

After agreeing on the job & details, Glass Doctor comes out and removes your old glass. THEN they measure for the new glass (so there are no surprises of crevices, etc hidden by the old glass). Since everything is custom made--you're then without a usable shower for at least 2 weeks until the new glass gets delivered. After installation, you still need to wait another 2 days to ensure everything is dry & bonded. They did a good job with minimal mess. They were punctual and professional in getting the job done (both in the initial visit to remove the old glass and in the followup visit to install the new glass). My old shower glass (12 yrs old) was getting corroded-looking & I was having problems with mold because of caulking that was wearing away--so the new shower is awesome in that it makes doing a good job cleaning just so much easier. Also, because it is semi-frameless (glass to glass on the corners), it lets a lot more light in the shower. We also moved out one of the panels about 3 inches and increased the height of all the panels about 5 inches. With the extra room & additional glass (less framing), it makes the shower seem a LOT larger than before--which is greatshow more

The made a custom glass enclosure for me. They first came out and found out that the dimensions were not correct on the glass. They scheduled another appointment but were apparently double scheduled and had to schedule again. The shower looks great but its a bit flemsy.
