Samsung Dryer Repair in Columbus

First i spoke with Samsung direct, and while helpful, I still needed a repair faster than they could provide. I called another company and they did not repair Samsung appliances so they gave me Scott's number. I called Scott at 8:00 AM and he came to my house the same day with the part to fix my dryer with him. He had it repaired in probably less than 30 minutes. I was impressed with his work, his punctuality, and his price was fair. I will definitely call him for any other appliance I may need fixed in the futureshow more

I called early in the morning and they were able to come out the same day I called. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix the dryer due to a control board issue (which is still under warranty.) I would not hesitate to call them again for future services. Very courteous, very professional. They did everything possible to try and fix itshow more

Yesterday late in the afternoon ...Friday, of course...my dryer stopped heating (and did I mention it was 2 weeks after my extended warranty expired??!!!) I looked on Angie's List to find a good appliance repairman. Appliance Pro LLC had a "big deal offer" which I purchased. I also called Jim and left a VM telling him of my problem. He quickly returned my call. I wasn't sure if I would hear from him then or have to wait until Monday. My brother has his own business in appliance repair...but he is 90 minutes away. I called him and told him the problem. He had me do a couple things and said he was sure I would need a new heating unit or that part attached to the heating unit. When I left the VM for Jim I relayed that information. Before he called me back, he checked his inventory and didn't have those parts but said he would get them from his supplier the next morning, which he did. He arrived on time...early afternoon (Saturday) and in a couple hours had the repair completed and everything put back as he found it. He was very polite, professional. Gave me all the information, cost, etc. If I need repairs in the future, I will definitely call Jim againshow more

Excellent, they got me in hours after I called, they had the parts required in the truck and got us fixed within an hour. Their rates and costs were dramatically lower than the competition for the same service on our Samsung and Jim gave me an overview of what to watch and how to get the longest life and best performance from our dryer. The appointment was set up for Thursday 8-1. At 12:30, I hadn't heard from them, so I called and was told they were running behind and we could reschedule for Monday. I would be called first thing and the lady apologized. Monday I rushed around making sure I was home at 8:00 when I was supposed to be called. I got the call they were coming at 10:30. There was one guy who came and looked at the dryer. I explained the about the sensor. He said the senor almost never went out. He turned on the dryer for a few minutes and looked for Samsung bulletins on his phone. He told me again the senor almost never goes out, but if I wanted to replace it, he would for $150.00. I politely refused. The technician obviously didn't know what was wrong with the dryer and was unwilling to do the work it would take to find out. Then, for the 15-30 minutes he was in my house, he charged me a fee of $69.95! I would not use this service again and would encourage others not to use them either. They obviously have a bad sense of customer serviceshow more

Repair tech was in the house for a total of 35 minutes. Identified the issue quickly and repaired the small plastic roller quickly. They charged us $52 for the small part and a total of $180 for service call and labor. $249 total for about 1/2 hour work and a part that likely cost them $30. Not a bad profit for them. Called the big box where we bought the Samsung dryer and the price was higher than I thought it should be. They also tried to sell me a service plan before I made an appointment to come fix my current problem. Since Mr. Appliance listed Samsung as one of the brands that they work on, I called them. Their standard service call price was reasonable. They couldn't get to me for two days, which was okay so I booked the appointment. Jim showed up promptly and was very professional. He took the dryer apart and found the sock that was stuck on a screw in the blower assembly. He removed the sock, put the dryer back together and tested it. I hope I never see these guys again. But, if I do need an appliance fixed they'll be the one I call first. Very Satisfied from phone call to completionshow more

My Samsung dryer quit working. Jim came out promptly and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was here less than 45minutes. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Less than 2 months later, my dryer quit again. This had nothing to do with the work of Jim, it had to do with the dryer itself. I called Jim and told him what happened and he came out the same day and had the problem fixed again within 30 minutes. I expected to pay full price for the service since it had nothing to do with the first repair and he still gave me a discount. We will definitely call Jim again for any appliance need! Sears could not have done better. First, they were able to service my Samsung appliances and finding companies that service that brand a very few and far between. Second, their service rep came out the very next day after I called, so I was not without my dryer for more than a few hours. Third, the rep quickly diagnosed the problem and went out directly and picked up the replacement parts to install later that same day. Fourth, I did not feel pressured to take up the additional offers of the vent, vacuuming, and warranty. I had requested the dryer repair and the washer maintenance, but after I saw the huge build up of lint inside the dryer, I agreed with the rep's suggestions to fixing the problem. He recommended cleaning out the current amount of lint and installing a sturdier vent to the wall. I already knew the flexible hose vent was not strong enough (we had already blown out one before) and while he was vacuuming out the lint, he discovered that we had had a dryer fire! A large patch of lint was burnt black. I was saw him peel it up myself. Very scary. So I also signed up for the warranty which includes a free vacuuming out (it costs $40 on its own). I think it is worth it. And finally, everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. I will definitely be using them againshow more
