Rangels did my patio work 3 years ago, I am extremely happy with their work and craftsmanship. Last year I called Rangels for some maintenance and service. They came and honor maintenance/repair calls as part of warranty and provided complementary service which also says Rangels has very good business ethics too. I want to thank Mark for thinking outside the box and having the integrity to suggest what’s best for the customer. My backyard concrete patio and walkway needed to be repaired due to foundation construction work. I had already talked with two other concrete companies for estimates before Mark stopped by to look at my patio situation. The other estimators told me that the remaining concrete needed to be removed and the entire patio replaced. Of course at great expense. Mark surveyed my patio area and came up with a solution that kept the aesthetic look of the home with a much less expensive repair even though he would not be doing any of the work. We have a 15 year old paver patio that I thought was beyond saving. Multiple companies came out and said it couldn't be saved, and gave outrageous prices for building a new one from scratch. The Patio Doctor did an excellent job! Chris did an amazing job of re-adhering the paver stones that had come loose on our steps, power washing the entire patio and sealing it. A portion of our paver patio had settled and was pulling away from the foundation of the house. Not only did it look bad but it was causing drainage issues. We used Angie’s List to find 9 Trees and they were up for the task. Joel was very prompt and professional in visiting, listening to/understanding the issue and delivering a timely estimate. Joel’s communication was clear, the work completed was as described and in the timeframe outlined. While we hope to not have any patio issues in the future, if so, we will be calling 9 Trees. Pete Marsh from Buck and Sons came out and went over area of concern. He came back with a solid remedy and proposal. The job was performed on July 8 and finished that day. The professionals who came out to do the work were hard working and explained everything they were doing. When I got home later that afternoon, my patio area was completely redone and all misc. debris removed. The two gentlemen who did the work were very, very goodshow more

I typically don't say anything negative about a company but this is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. It's June 14th and I still don't have a quote that was supposed to be emailed to me on May 20th. I've been checking my inbox, junk, spam, etc. and nothing. Here is the history: Early May: I called Brian to ask for a quote on some paver patio repairs, extensive tuckpointing and a new retaining wall. I told him that if I wasn't home when they arrived, to feel free to walk around the property without me. I explained exactly what needed to be done and verified my email address. May 8: John Fisher, who works with Brian Cyre, called me and left a message that he would stop by and take some pictures and that they would be in touch with a quote. May 20: I hadn't heard anything so I called Brian. He said they had just had a meeting that morning about the work and that he would have the quote emailed to me by that afternoon. I let him know that after I got the quote, I might want them to look at extending the paver patio up to the sunroom. He said they had pictures and he was fine with that. I did not receive the quote that afternoon. May 28: I called John and left a message. I kindly asked him to please let me know if they were too busy to do the work or if they just didn't want the job (for whatever reason) . That would have been ok with me. I just wanted to know how to proceed. He did not return my call. June 1: I called Brian to ask what was holding things up. I reminded him that he said the quote would be sent 11 days prior and mentioned that John never returned my call. He said that they both had been in and out of town and told me (direct quote), "If you don't want to wait, you're welcome to find another contractor." I wasn't sure what I was supposed to wait for because I had been told that the quote was finished. He reassured me that the quote had been done and that he would check on it and get it right to me. That was two weeks ago and I still have not received anything. No phone call, no email, NOTHING. I feel as if I have been strung along with lies and the hope is that I will just go away. I will do just that, but not before I let others know how unprofessional this company is and how they 1. Are totally incompetent with getting quotes out, or 2. Won't tell you they are too busy to schedule the work, or 3. Won't tell you they just don't want the work If you call them, be prepared for them to waste a lot of your time and possibly just blow you off. As Brian put it, "If you don't want to wait, you're welcome to find another contractor." I wonder how long it takes them to actually finish a job??? June 18: UPDATE - I never received an estimate.
