We initially called Ando to repair a doorbell and a toilet, and for an estimate on installing flourescent lights in the basement of my daughter's house in Columbus. When he came to fix the doorbell, the toilet had already fixed itself, and Ando suggested that rather than going through the expense of installing ceiling lights we try higher wattage bulbs in the basement pole lamp. We then asked Ando to give us an estimate on putting up crown molding in a bathroom. While walking through the house he noted that in many rooms there were cracks where the ceiling met the walls, and the fan blades were loose on my daughter's fan, which he immediately tightened. (We tried the brighter bulbs in the basement and they worked). A few days later Ando sent us an estimate which seemed reasonable, so we asked him to do the work. My daughter was incredibly pleased with the work Ando did. He was at her house on three days and went above and beyond what he had agreed to do. While he was there the toilet broke again and he fixed it. He fixed the cracks in the living room cathedral ceiling and plastered a large area on a bedroom wall, and the cracks where ceiling met wall throughout the house. He bought the crown molding for the bathroom, my daughter primed it and he installed it. She was to paint the final coat after it was installed but Ando painted that too. He not only tightened the fans and light fixtures, he cleaned them. There was a futon in pieces in the basement we were trying to repair. He bought the specialty bolts for it, put it together and with my daughter's help carried it upstairs and put it in place in a bedroom. My daughter is an artist and needed spindles cut, he cut 20 spindles for her with a power saw. While he was working at her house, my daughter had a friend call whose hot water heater had broken. Ando and a friend went to her house the next morning and fixed the water heater. Ando was upbeat and cheerful, friendly to my daughter's dog (he let him out of the cage since he was barking then the dog returned the kindness by chewing up one of his paint rollers.) He did a terrific job and went above and beyond what was asked of him and only charged a very few dollars more for the extra work. My daughter was so pleased with his work that we paid Ando more than the amount billed

Rick did a great job. We had purchased the ceiling fan and light fixtures for him to install. Turns out we were able to return one of the fixtures because he was able to fix the old one that appeared (to us) to be broken. In addition, he helped us understand how to replace a recessed bulb in the kitchen ceiling that we didn't know how to replace...that was an unexpected bonus. Fred Johnson is amazing!!! Actually I will give him A++++ in all areas. Fred contacted me and we set an appointment for 8:30 on June 7. He called at 7:00 am to tell me his truck would not start and could he please come at 1:00. He arrived at 12:45 and immediately began to work. Fred has a pleasant personality and did not flinch when I gave him the tasks to be completed. The ceiling fans he replaced were not properly installed and he quickly and efficiently figured out the problem and did a FANTASTIC job of replacing them. He installed a new back porch light and reset the light on the deck. Moving on he replaced the hanging light over the dining table. He then quickly moved on to the front door and replaced the broken screen door arm. He then went down to the basement and replaced the battery on an elliptical machine. We primarily needed someone to repair a leak in our shower. Initially I contacted three companies on Angie's list for quotations. Only one kept their appointment and was really only interested in a complete bathroom remodel rather than fixing the existing shower which was not in our budget. I contacted three more companies and this time Pat Ashby responded right away. I called rather than emailed him as his profile requests. He came to the house the following evening and assured me that the shower leak could be repaired and explained to me in detail where he thought the leak was and what he would do to ensure it was repaired correctly including replacing the old linoleum with ceramic tile as the linoleum had to be partially removed to repair a water damaged floor board underneath. Additionally I asked Pat to quote some other items that needed attention around the house including repairing a hole in the drywall, installing a ceiling fan, replacing a rusted exterior door, repairing the grout and replace the caulk in the shower he would repair plus around our second bathroom tub. After measuring, calculating materials, etc. Pat quoted me pricing on the spot for all of the items we had discussed he also provided a time-frame to complete the work. Ultimately Pat completed the project on budget and on schedule with minimal interruption to our family's daily routine. He kept his work areas tidy and did most of the dusty/dirty work in the garage to minimize dust in the house. I checked in with Pat periodically throughout the 2 weeks he was working at our house and he was always ready to provide detailed updates regarding progress and any issues that had popped up. He finished work on a Friday and had left the house before I returned home. I was pleasantly surprised when he stopped by on Saturday morning to review the work one last time and make sure that everything was done to satisfaction. I would certainly use Pat for future projects and am glad we found him

I am very happy with the service. Jeremy was very friendly and polite. The original service call was to replace the broken light bulb. He fixed that very quickly. After that was done, he asked if there was anything else he could do for me. He said he felt bad charging $150 dollars to basically replace a light bulb. So, I asked him for an estimate on replacing a ceiling fan upstairs. After that, I could not think of anything else, so he went to get the bill. When he was outside, I thought of the GF outlet in our basement that was not working. When he came back inside, I mentioned it to him and he was happy to check it out. He said that he would gladly replace it and the only extra charge would be the cost ($25) of the new outlet. He finished that in no time. I am very happy with Jeremy and Mr. Electric and plan to call on them again after we get some lighting fixtures picked out to be installed

I was very happy with the service. I paid for four hours of handyman services for $176. I made a list of about 15 items that needed fixed in the house, from installing light fixtures with appropriate electrical boxes to weatherstripping the front door. I made the list thinking he'd only get a few items done but he finished everything, and this even included a trip to Lowe's to get some supplies. He replaced two bathroom light fixtures and patched the holes in the wall; caulked a bathtub faucet, fixed a ceiling fan that was getting ready to fall from the ceiling, weatherstripped the front door, fixed a broken kitchen drawer, and several other items. There was a problem with the front door locking after the weatherstripping was installed which I didn't catch until later in the evening, but he was there the next day to fix it (he had to use a thinner weatherstripping) and the door locks properly and I don't notice the cold draft any longer. The only downside - if there is one - is that he's pretty booked up so it took me about 4 weeks to get in. I'll definitely use him again, but wish it was easier to get on his schedule

Great ! Asad was awesome as always and a pleasure to have in my home :) The reason the cost was so high is we have a certain lighting system that is not commonly used in residential homes. The kids ripped the chain out of the light to a ceiling fan. I attempted to fix it but the chain was broke off well into the electrical part (switch) of the light. So I decided I better call an electrician and I hired Jess Howard. The Electrician that came to the house did a great job. He was done in about a half hour. Excellent service. Professional. Electrician very friendly and nice & on time. Able to install ceiling fan OK, but now we can't get light on & off with wall switch - have to find the remote all the time. Fixed another wall switch without problems. Door bell was a bust. Electrician unable to make it work - said it needed to be completely rewired! We had to pay additional $119 above & beyond the BIG DEAL price and a trip out to LOWE's for an additional part which ate up the time

Scott and Doug are great -- very upfront and thorough. Scott did the bulk of the work for this particular job and I couldn't be more pleased. He was able to anticipate errors and even when there were hiccups outside of our control (polar vortex, or delays in parts) -- he suggested reasonable solutions and would go ahead and correct issues. For example, the toilet that was purchased was broken -- they went ahead and exchanged it, no muss, no fuss. These are great guys who care and who do great work. Highly recommend
