I used this company 3 years ago---January, 2008---for a problem with my refrigerator at home. Joe was able to toggle a switch or something like that and that fixed my problem at home. I just paid a very reasonable service fee at that time. I was so impressed with them I knew if I ever needed any large applicance repair, again, they would be the First company I called! This time I had a problem with my refrigerator at my office. I called June 9 and Joe came out June 10---again FAST service! He determined I needed a new part--Bummer since the refrigerator was only 8 years old. Joe ordered the part and, true to his word, he had the part today (Monday) and he came out and installed it. Holly came to help him. In no time they had the part installed. Holly even remembered I sent them a gift card to a restaurant 3 years ago because I was so impressed with their service! I'm just as impressed this time! I also asked about my refrigerator at home (which is now 12 years old) possibly having a cooling problem. Joe gave me advice and how to watch it to see if I need to have a repair done or not. Great Company!!!show more

Great!! Jim responded quickly. Followed up and arrived when he said he would. Replaced the relay on our 5 yr old Maytag refrigerator. We called Jim because he responded a couple years ago to a faulty dishwasher. He was honest enough to tell us that he could repair it, however we would be better off replacing it. That kind of honesty you don't find every day. This is why he is now officially our appliance go to guy!show more

I called A-1 and was able to schedule an appointment at a convenient time. Brooke called before arriving to let me know that he was on his way. He took apart the refrigerator and determined that the fan was not working properly. He called his parts supplier and found out that the required parts were in stock. Brooke left to pick up the parts and was back within thirty minutes. He replaced the fan and completed the work in a very timely manner. Brooke was prompt and very polite. Everything went very well from start to end. I called Dublin Appliance based on reviews on Angie's List. I was able to get an appointment during the time and day I wanted. The serviceman was prompt and knew immediately what the problems were. He stopped the vibrating noise by putting a bend in the bottom plate. He then addressed the icemaker. When he took it out he showed me that the icemaker motor gears were slipping. I had no other choice than to replace it. Unfortuately he would have to order it and come back another day to install it. The part came in in two days. Again the serviceman was prompt on arrival. It took minutes for him to install. At the time I was dealing with a leak with my garbage disposal as a result of a clog. Airfast was sent out by E.S.P. and it was a disaster from the start. They didn't call me at all for two days and I finally called them and got an answering machine. No response for two more days so I called my warranty company and they notified them that I had not been contacted. They finally sent a technician to my house. The person they sent out did not check anything, only went by what I told him I thought the problem APPEARED to be. He did not touch the machine and wrote in the work performed column that I needed a control board and a door gasket. I asked him how he knew what the problem was without doing any troubleshooting. He told me that he takes the paperwork back to the company and they contact the warranty provider to authorize the repairs. I asked him again how did he know what parts are needed for the repairs since he didn't check the machine at all. He told me that he was a HVAC technician and that Airfast would send out a washing machine mechanic with the parts. He asked me for my co-pay ($15) and I told him that I would pay it when the technician came out to do the repairs because we don't even know for sure what the problem is since he didn't troubleshoot the machine. It could be the control board, a switch, a loose wire or a multitude of other problems and you can't look at a machine and magically know what the problem is for sure. He didn't even run it through a cycle, so there is no way he could know for certain what the problem(s) might be. He put on my paper that I didn't want to pay my co-pay and I wrote on the bill "until the problem is fixed". I never received a follow up call so I called back to the company a couple of days later and asked the person on the phone to speak with a supervisor. She told me that she was the office manager. I explained the situation and all she kept saying was that I had to pay my co-pay because a technician came to my house. She kept saying that she could refer me to another company and I finally took her up on it because she didn't care about getting my machine fixed, only that I needed to pay that stupid little $15 and I told her I'm not paying it until you tell me what is wrong with my machine. Bad attitude, bad customer service, and definitely a bad technician who did absolutely nothing to ascertain what the problem was with my washer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody and I plan on making a complaint with the BBBshow more
