We needed to replace an existing spa and deck that is located adjacent to a screened porch. After visiting two local companies that specialized in spas we decided to purchase a Jacuzzi unit from All Seasons Spas. On our initial visit to that establishment we were assisted by Kelly Young. Kelly was particularly helpful, informative and personable. On a subsequent trip to the store we were assisted by Jason, who was also quite helpful. Both sales associates did their best to make the spa purchase effortless. Prior to purchasing the spa they sent out a service person to our home when we had concerns about the "fit" of the unit on the new deck. After we selected a unit they were willing to hold delivery of the spa until our deck was completed (which took longer than expected). They were able to recommend an electrical company to install the unit that coordinated delivery with installation perfectly. They also offered to give us a discount of $150.00 if we paid by cash instead of by credit card. When I accidently forgot to decrease the payment by that amount, I called Kelly to let her know what had happened. She had a check sent out for the amount of the discount within one week of my call. After delivery of the Jacuzzi spa Kelly made calls to our home to make sure that the unit was operating well and to see if we had any questions. We honestly considered not even visiting All Season Spas because of previous (very old) "bad" ratings reviewed on the Angie's List website. The first time he was supposed to show up, he couldn't figure out the realtor lockbox on the door to get to the key and THEN wanted to charge a trip charge for his failed attempt. When he finally did get there, he replaced the motor in a matter of 10 minutes but then after testing it, filling the tub and then draining the tub, water started pouring from the celing into my kitchen. He had no idea if what he did had caused the issue and said we needed to get a plumber in. All I know is that the tub didn't leak before he put the motor in and now it doesshow more

We bought the spa and their team delivered the spa and did a great job. After the delivery the lights on our spa stopped working and we also could not get all of the jets to come on. We called All Seasons and they were great! Our jets were operator error as we didn't realize that there was a main control valve as well. They sent someone out the next day to look at the lights and they were fixed when we returned home from work. I would highly recommend themshow more

I've been getting small black flakes in my Jacuzzi whirlpool bath and have tried vinegar, baking soda, all kinds of suggestions to eleminate them. I "assumed" there was a filter somewhere that needed cleaned/changed, so I looked for a company that specializes in the type of bath I have. After searching in Angie's List and confirming through the BBB, Rainbow Hot Tubs & Spas, Inc., seamed to be my best bet. Not knowing anything about a whirlpool tub's operation is like taking a car to a mechanic you don't know and... "good luck". I called Rainbow Hot Tubs & Spas, Inc., and spoke to Rick. I explained what was going on and thought maybe I needed a new filter and wanted to schedule for service at my home. Guess what? My tub does not have a filter (good to know) and he discouraged a service call and said that it just needed a solution they had in stock. It was that simple. I drove to their store (very nice store) and met with Rick who showed me which product to use on my tub and went over the directions with me. The directions were simple, but I appreciated him taking the time to go over them and give a few tips that I wouldn't have thought of. I was also very impressed that he asked if I wanted to be added to their system. I don't write very many reviews. Although there was no "service" conducted by them at my home, Rick saved me $$ for an unnecessary service call I would have had, time I would have had to be at my home for any service, and a lesson that my tub does not have a filter to change, and something I can maintain on my own. Rainbow Hot Tubs and Spas, Inc., will be the first number I call should my whirlpool bath have any future problems and need serviced. It was so easy to come home and run the solution through myself. We have never hired a contractor to do any renovations in our home of this magnitude. Frankly, I like to do the work myself because I know it will be done exactly the way I want it and I may learn something in the process. We decide that we wanted our bath to be something really special and that was going to take a lot of intricate tile work. Plus we didn't want to be without our bathroom for two years while I tried to fit it in on the weekends. We had to hire a contractor. I had heard the horror stories like everyone else and dove in with much fear of what we were getting into. We called two contractors. I had done my homework and found all the questions I was supposed to ask and was ready to drill them. The first came in and had a well established local contracting business but the first interview was a little awkward and we knew he wasn't the one for us. The second interview with Todd Smith from Renaissance, Inc (The House Whisperer) was great. He clearly knew his stuff, had the answers we wanted to hear, he was easy to talk to and had a professional attitude. He took the ideas we had accumulated and saw our vision pretty quickly and added his own suggestions too. After talking with Todd we know he was going to get the job. We had been prepared for what the cost might be beforehand so we were not surprised by Todd's initial quote. The quote came in a little higher than we expected but we wanted some pricey stuff. After the agreement to proceed, Todd gave us a list of companies he has done work with and names of the people to contact. Tile, cabinets, and plumbing... As Todd said "Now the fun begins. Time to go shopping". Our first mistake in this process was not listening to those names he gave us. After two less than inspiring visits to the tile supplier, we dropped the person we had been working with and found who Todd had suggested. She was great and we soon had exactly what we wanted. Since the tile was the most complicated decision we had to make, it was a relief to have that over. We did the demo ourselves to save a few bucks. After the demo, Todd's crew got to work. They were always friendly. One of them was there nearly every day working on something. Terry, his very talented "tile guy" was there on some Saturdays too. They cleaned up after themselves. We loaned them half our garage for storage and trash cans. We saved some money by putting out the construction trash cans with our own instead of them hauling it away. Todd checked in every few days to let us know what was happening next, communication was not a problem. We found some materials ourselves on-line cheaper than Todd's suggested supplier so we bought them and he took that portion off our allowance on the quote. When it came to the final bill, there were some overages because we had a change order and we requested some upgrades. Todd was always fair and honest.
