IT WAS HARD TO GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME, BUT WHEN THEY DID THEY KNEW THE PRODUCT. THE STORE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES. THE DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION WERE REASONABLY PRICED. Was extremely pleased with Jack's from the initial fact-finding mission, selection, pricing and installation process. They were always polite, prompt and responsive in all aspects. Their pricing and selection was best, even over HH Gregg. Their installers were efficient and knowledgeable, and took the old appliances with them. Two examples of how they went "above and beyond": I left lots of just purchased fruit in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator when they removed it and had gone on to the next stop across town. They brought the items back within an hour of the call. Also, they were out of stock of the original micro-wave I ordered, and they convinced the manufacturer to upgrade me to a convection-microwave at no cost to me! This is a smaller appliance store with excellent service and a fairly large selection given the smaller size; they carry high end brands as well as brands that look high end. It's easier for us to concentrate on what we want in an appliance when we are in a quieter atmosphere. Not all small stores offer good customer service, but Jack's does. After a kitchen fire we decided to remodel our kitchen, including replacement of old or non-working appliances. After shopping the "big-box" stores, scratch and dent stores and chain appliance stores we found Jack's. From the outset the personnel were helpful and knowledgeable. We discovered that we could upgrade to stainless steel and still save over the other places we would consider. Due to scheduling issues, there was a several month wait between purchasing the appliances and their delivery. We paid 50% and were never pushed to complete payment or accelerate the delivery. When we did schedule delivery, Jack's assured me that they could meet our contractor's requested time slot, which they did. When we reported that the refrigerator's ice maker bin was missing, they didn't question our report; they merely obtained a replacement, and seemed genuinely happy, not merely willing, to do so. Worked with Chris Mitchell, 3rd generation at the store. Very knowledgable and helpful explaining the pros and cons of different manufacturers and models. They carry all the major manufacturers. We made a mistake ordering the refrigerator, that we did not realize until after it was delivered. I called Chris Mitchell and he took care of it right away. He ordered a different model and switched out the refrigerators. We just paid the difference in price for the different model. The price is same as the big box stores. The delivery of all appliances was about a week. It was a pleasure dealing with a family business that is built on customer service. It is worth the drive to Hillardshow more

WE HAD VISITED MANY APPLIANCE STORES, INCLUDING ANOTHER BEST BUY. WE FOUND VARYING AMOUNTS OF MISINFORMATION AS WELL AS SOME ANNOYING SALES PEOPLE. SALES STAFF VARIED FROM INCREDIBLY CLINGY AND PUSHY TO INVISIBLE. HOWEVER, DAVID AT BEST BUY DUBLIN WAS AWESOME. HE HELPED US FIND THE EXACT GAS RANGE WE WANTED, EVEN THOUGH HIS STORE DID NOT CARRY IT. HE SPECIAL ORDERED IT, AND EVEN SAVED US A LITTLE MONEY. HE WAS HELPFUL, BUT DID NOT SUFFOCATE US. GREAT JOB. THE ONLY GLITCH WAS THE DELIVERY. EVEN THOUGH DAVID SET IT UP FOR THREE WEEKS LATER, IT ARRIVED EARLY. THE YOUNG GIRL WHO RE-SCHEDULED THE DELIVERY NEGLECTED TO ENTER THE DATA IN THE COMPUTER AND THUS, OUR RANGE DID NOT ARRIVE THE DAY IT WAS EXPECTED. HH Gregg Appliances & Electronics did not do as well as my other supplier. The one on the dishwasher was very professional and did what I wanted done and took care of things and left. The same day two other guys showed up delivering the range and the refrigerator. They borrowed my tools to remove the door - which is not uncommon with refrigerators - and gave no instructions. Pretty much plugged it in the wall and left. The microwave we were told that day was on back order and would be there soon. We have not been able yet to find out when soon is. That was two weeks ago last Saturday. The two appliances that the other two guys delivered are working fine, there is no issues, but I paid $79 for the installation and they really didn't know how to install the water line on my refrigerator for the icemaker. They needed a fitting which costs 59c which wasn't part of their package. So I went and bought it and had to do it myself. I wasn't as happy with their service. The goods from HH Gregg were slightly cheaper and they are slightly closer than my other supplier so I thought I'd give them a try.
