The technician determined that the water leak was happening because the evaporator pad in our Carrier humidifier had disintegrated and needed to be replaced. However, the technician's office told me that my humidifier was old, and the parts were no longer available. They quoted a cost of about $450 to totally replace the humidifier, rather than repair our existing one. I then called a nearby Carrier dealer, who had about 10 of those evaporator pads in stock. My husband put the evaporator pad in our humidifier for a cost of $40

Daniel was very professional and was extremely knowledgeable. He did everything promised and more. We just had our furnace and humidifier installed 2 years ago by another highly rated company on Angie's List. During the check-up Daniel found that the humidifier pad appeared to be brand new. After checking further, the tube that supplied the water to the humidifier had never been opened so no water was passing through. He fixed the problem so now we have a humidifier that actuallly works for the coming winter. they were great to work with, we signed the contract for the humidifier and AC, they came out right away and installed the Humidifier. we had to wait a few weeks for the AC unit to come in from the manufacturer. about 3 weeks after the the humidifier installation we received a call that the AC unit was in and ready, they were here the next day to hook everything up and we are ready for warm weather

We live in a split-level home and our HVAC is wedged under the stairs pretty tight and we wanted a humidifier installed. Another company told us our only option was a steam humidifier that would cost $2200 to install. I talked to Pickerington Heating and Cooling on the phone and they said they could probably install a fan-assisted humidifier. Noah came out and said he could actually fit in a bypass flow-through humidifier, saving us money. I also had him install a condensate water pump to drain the AC and heat wastewater to our washer drain, which enabled us to remove an annoying pipe that ran across our basement floor. I also purchased the AC tune-up deal through Angie's List. Noah did a great job and got everything done quickly
