We initially contacted this company to give us an estimate on roughing in for a ceiling fan, installing two quads in our basement and moving an outlet for our television. The quoted price was very good, so we chose to use the company. When the installer arrived, he quoted us a vastly different, and much more expensive, price than we were originally quoted. We had the original quote and the installer called into the office to see what he could do. They agreed to charge us the quoted price for installing the ceiling fan. The installer was very quick and had the fan installed in less than an hour. He was very personable and spent a little time talking to my husband and I about cameras after the install was complete

The service tech arrived on time and was very professional. We had originally called to have two ceiling fans taken down but we decided to replace the ceiling fans that very morning. The technician had no problem taking down and installing one of the fans. He made us aware of a problem with the original installation of one of the fans - which was installed improperly and could have caused a fire. Bradley Electric
Approximately 5 years ago we purchased 3 identical ceiling fans from Capital lighting and had them installed by an electrician. Recently the first light bulb burnt out (halogen) and we were not able to remove the light kit. We worked with Capital and they ordered a new fan for us. We had thought Bradley Electric installed all of the fans. They came to our home to install the fan that was replaced by Capital and to see if the other two fans were also installed incorrectly. They were, and Bradley was almost ready to purchase two new (very expensive) fans and replace them. However, they were looking for the receipts because they were still on paper at that time, when I started to do a lot more digging myself and found out that Bradley Electric actually did not do the original installation like we both thought, but rather Efficient Electric, another highly rated Angie's List provider. This could have been a very awkward situation, but instead Ron from Bradley handled this with the utmost professionalism. Even though I offered to pay right away when the error was discovered he asked me to wait to until I found out if Efficient Electric was going to work with us to resolve the situation. Otherwise Bradley Electric was going to install the other fans. Fortunately, Efficient Electric was equally as good. However, I stayed in contact with Ron and I felt he went above and beyond with his level of customer service in navigating a difficult situation. The normal rate for a service call and installation of a ceiling fan was around $189. However, Ron only charged me $99, the rate offered in an Angie's List Big Deal. This was something they did not need to do because they didn't install the fan incorrectly. This company went above and beyond during the transaction. A little about Justin and Rob (the installers). They were polite, professional, neat, and clean. When they arrived I explained the problem to them and showed them the part that was removed from the ceiling fan that did not work so they could see how much the light kit was over tightened when it was installed. They first installed the new fan so they could see how it was installed and how the light kit was supposed to be properly installed. The light kit on these ceiling fans can very easily be installed incorrectly rendering the fan useless once the bulb burns out. After seeing how the other one was installed incorrectly and how to install the light kit correctly they went to work on the other two fans to see if they could release the other two light kits. They simply would not budge which is what I expected. They did try and also told me what they would do for follow up and what to expect. They were going to pass the information on to their manager and I should expect a call back later in the day. Obviously we later determined Bradley Electric didn't install the fans in the first place (detailed above). However, Justin and Rob were outstanding and when I have more electrical work in the future I'd love to have these two back in my home

2 days after I'd purchased the fan and asked them to send someone out to install it, they still hadn't sent anyone out or called. I called them, and they were supposed to set up the appointment. I purchased the fan on 6/6, and the installation tech didn't show up until 6/25. At the store the price for installation said $168. When the electrician showed up, he said it would be $400. I told him no thanks, and he went back to his truck. I asked the Home Depot for the money I'd paid for the installation back, since it hadn't been installed, but I had to take the fan in to the store to prove that it had not been installed. I ended up returning the fan. They couldn't take the installation off and let me keep the fan

The gentleman showed up on time and got right to work. It took about 2 hours to remove and install the two fans. The installer acted professionally. He cleaned up the work areas and attic access area where some insulation had fallen. The fans work just fine. I've used DLC before to install a ceiling fan and would recommend them to others

Waibel Electric
I called Waibel to ask if they could do the work and they said they could do it the next morning. Robert called and said he was on his way and I met him there. He had to go into the attic because there was nothing there to begin with--it was a very hot day and a very small closet. He never complained just set to work and I went back to work. When I came home the fan and light in the closets were beautiful and everything worked great. Then I looked at the plug for the microwave--I hadn't told him exactly what I wanted (I guess I thought he could read my mind) the outlet he installed was very big and stuck out from the wall--I had a microwave cart that I wanted against the wall--so I decided this wasn't going to work and I left a message at Waibel. I spoke to them the next day and they said ok if I wanted it removed Robert would come out that day and do it so I met him there. He showed me what he thought I meant--turned the cart around--moved the stove to the other side--and it is great! I teased him and told him he was not only my electrician but my decorator! I had contact with 3 people there and they were all very nice and patient and this was a very good experience
