We love the new fence--it doesn't block the great view of the woods, but nicely frames our yard. The crew grazed a power line in the installation process (not Yoder's fault, AEP hadn't marked properly). The Yoder's team handled the situation and had everything fixed with integrity. Excellent work and final result. Yoder's custom orders the materials for each job, so it took several weeks to be able to schedule the job. They are very knowledgeable about the materials and the installation process. Perfect from the estimate trough the install. This is a family owned business and you can see they take great pride in their work. Cliff Workman, one of the owners did the estimate and was very nice to work with. If we had any questions either Cliff or his son Ben always got back to us in a timely manner even though I know these guys are really busy. The install went amazingly well, Adam and Hunter started the work and it was cold and then started to drizzle on them but they continued to work! Ben Workman stopped by to see how the job was going and even pitched in because it was really a tough job with the wet and cold which made digging in our Ohio clay miserable! Even with the conditions they measured and leveled and re-leveled until it was perfect. We could not be more pleased with the job, these guys went above and beyond and were always sincerely friendly and willing to make a couple of changes without hesitation. When we finish landscaping around the fenced area we are going to post some pictures on facebook and here if we can. One thing we would like to add is that more people ought to look into aluminum fencing vs. wood, more expense up front but no maintenance or ugly rotting with Ohio moisture. The fence was installed while we were on vacation. Because of the attention to detail in planning and clear communication, the fence was installed perfectly! The saleman was wonderful to work with. It took longer than originally quoted to get the fence installed apparently there was a slow down at the manufacturer on the tips for the fence we ordered and we were a bit frustrated with communication, but we later learned that we were also having some internet issues, so this may have been part of the communication issues. The installers did a great job and were very professional and eager to please. They worked very hard in some of the hottest and stormiest weather we have had this summer. The job took 2 days due to the typical rocky soil typical here in central Ohio. We had a few issues, but the owner was very willing to work with us and their crew was great, so we would recommend them and use them againshow more

I felt it was a little pricey for no more than we were having done, but he assured me that the quality of material was far above what I could purchase at the "big" home improvement stores. Keith was responsive, easy to work with, had a great price and was able to complete the job weeks ahead of what other companies were quoting us. I appreciated his straight forward communications. No money upfront. His crew was fast, courteous and took the time to listen to my concerns and directions about where we wanted everything. There were a couple small scratches here and there on the fence, not really noticeable from a few feet away, but still I wanted to take care of them. The installers left me with a can of touch up spray paint, but it wasn't quite a match. I took pictures, texted them to Keith and he ordered the correct paint directly from the manufacturer and provided helpful info on how to apply it. Keith helped me find a good quality fence online and advised me on the design and color options, all before I committed to hiring him and without getting any commission from the fence company. He also advised me when the wrong hinges arrived (not his fault). The fence was expensive, but was good quality and his partner then installed it. Keith and this partner were easy to reach, punctual, and professional. The $300 they charged for the installation was a little more than I'd expected, but was still fairshow more

We recently had a fence installed at our home in Upper Arlington. We received a reference on Ken, whose quote came in almost $1,000 less than Landis Fence. Therefore we decided to go with Ken, and were not disappointed. He was extremely responsive from the beginning, helping us choose the right fencing option for our home and he handled all of the paperwork with the City. He did have to push back installation by one business day because of bad weather, but can't fault him for that. He showed up on Monday to begin installing the posts for the privacy fence, and also got 1/2 of the aluminum fence up. The next day he came back to attach the privacy fence and finish the aluminum, so he was in-and-out in 2 days. The fence looks amazing, and I've had multiple neighbors stop by to compliment us on the look of the fence. I cannot recommend Ken enoughshow more

After finding the company on Angie's list, we called Fencing Solutions for an estimate. Brent came out within a few days for that estimate, answered all of our questions, and discussed our options. We had researched and received several estimates from other companies, but Fencing Solutions provided the best product and price, overall. His crew came out and installed our fence, including 2 single gates, and 1 double gate. They worked extremely hard at leveling the fence and making it look perfect. They were not happy with the way one of the gates looked and so Brent had a special gate made to go along with the slope of our yard. All of their extra time and dilligence paid off and we are thrilled with the final product. Fencing Solutions wants to please their customers and they certainly exceeded our expectationsshow more

My experience in getting information about fence options, executing the contract and preparing for the installation were good. The crew that installed my fence were not as professional as I would have expected -- left uneaten food in my side yard, left clumps of dirt throughout my yard that I had to pick up the next day, and did not check in with me when the job was finished to give me the fence keys and ask if I had any questions. Granted, it was raining lightly when the crew finished the fence, but I am accustomed to workmen ringing my doorbell and talking with me when they have completed the job. When I shared my concerns with Lannis office staff, they were extremely apologetic and the sales manager and others offered to speak with me. They reduced my final bill as a gesture of recognition that the behavior of the crew was not up to their standards. I was pleased with the follow-up and would not hesitate to recommend Lannis to my friends. The fence looks great and I'm very happy with itshow more

Very disappointed in this company. Our 4' aluminum fence w/puppy panel was installed on October 29th - without the 2 gates. We were told there was a manufacturing delay of about a week. We were charged automatically on our credit card the full amount for a completed job that same day, October 29th. It's December 8th, almost 6 weeks later, they have our money - and we are still waiting on our 2 gates to be installed. We absolutely love the fence, but without gates, and just panels tied up to enclose the area; what an absolute disappointment. Hoping we see our gates and a completed job this year.
