Didn't charge me extra for taking the extra time go and purchase the ice maker and did a great clean up job when the work was completed

The serviceman called before he arrived and evaluated the current ice maker. He showed me what the problem was and why it needed replacing as opposed to fixing. The refrigerator is 16-years-old and that is the life expectancy of the ice maker. He turned off the ice maker and ordered the part. He came back within a week to replace the ice maker and also showed me how to clean the condensers

Do not use Appliance Pro, LLC - Jim came to my residence to repair my ice maker. After a very quick evaluation, Jim determined my entire ice maker needed replaced. After paying Jim hundreds of dollars, the new ice maker Jim installed failed again. I immediately tried contacting Jim again. After weeks of messaging and calling Jim, he was totally unresponsive. I was forced to pay a second service company to repair the ice maker Jim installed. The second service company was excellent and fixed the issue. Turns out a new ice maker was never needed to begin with. Jim and Appliance Pro, LLC did not honor the work and services they performed. After payment for service/product, Jim ignored all messages and phone calls and falsely charged me for a new ice maker

Contacted the company for broken ice maker. Representative came out the following day. Diagnosis was ice maker needed to be replaced, along with another part. Technician called when part was ready and came out as promised to replace and repair the ice maker. Very courteous and professional service. Seemed a bit expensive, but as I did not have any other quotes to reference, I still gave them a "Good" rating for price

It did not cost anything because it was under warranty. I do not know that I would recommend. That is where I usually go and the warranty will take care of everything. They really stuck it out for me with this ridiculous LG product! The ice maker broke within a year of purchase, but I could not reach any one at LG and it was during the busy holidays so it was then outside the warranty. COAP replaced it but it stopped working again. They replaced it a second time, but same issue. They sent out their trouble shooter and he figured out the problem was with the freezer switch. They are very courteous and I will use them again! Thank you

We have had an ongoing problem with the ice maker in our refrigerator. As I have continued to try to get the ice maker repaired, I have been told that this particular model has a reputation for being problematic and difficult to work on. We have an extended warranty on the refrigerator, and when I tried to get it repaired under warranty the technician that was sent out was very distraught when he learned of the type of ice maker in our system. The warranty repair was eventually declined by the warranty company, and I was told by the warranty company that the decision was based on the grounds that the list of parts requested by the technician was too extensive, and that the problem must be due to a "manufacturer defect". When I called the manufacturer to inquire about this I was told that there is no defect, and that they could offer no help with the repair. I was therefore put in a position of having to seek out repair of our ice maker outside of the warranty. I consulted Angie's List and found Economic Appliance Services. When I called and spoke with Ron, he was very courteous and understanding. He explained that they had worked on a number of that type of ice maker, and he felt confident that they could help. He was very thorough and up front, and explained a number of options \ remedies that might apply in our case, including expected costs. Ron then scheduled an appointment for us the next business day. Mike, the technician, called ahead of time and arrived promptly. He was extremely courteous and professional. He quickly disassembled the ice maker, and in short order found a loose connection in one of the wires in the system. After repairing that, he put the ice maker through a number of diagnostic tests, all of which succeeded. Mike explained that our ice maker is in fact quite complex compared to others, and that it may or may not require additional work in the future. Like Ron, Mike was very up front and honest, and explained that if the ice maker did require additional work he felt confident and comfortable with doing what was needed. We basically went from an ice maker that did not function at all and an expected repair bill of hundreds of dollars to get it working again, to a quick, courteous repair visit of approximately one hour, a working ice maker, for a very acceptable amount. Economic Appliance Services has definitely found a new customer in us

Mr. Jason Edwards fixed the issue in my 10 year old Whirlpool Gold fridge. Ice maker suddenly stopped making ice. Jason spent 1.5 hours trying yo identify the issue. No electric current reaches the maker, but it was very difficult to find out from where is the current cutoff. Rather than changing parts, Jason took few days researching the unique issue and came back. he removed the freezer door and inspected the group of wires feeding the freezer door at the bottom. Voila, a power wire was severed at the bottom. he put an electric junction, put the door back on and back in business. Highly recommend Jason for any house appliance repair/issues. Very reasonable cost at $177 for all the effort. Very professional
